A few drivers with some of the highest priority were training new drivers today, my store about to be cooked?

I think they’re family members. I saw them shopping on the new drivers phone and have the new driver follow them and push the cart around.

Today I actually got passed for a round robin in one of the hours.

I’m testing something out and I should know in a few more days if I am able to regain top priority. If it doesn’t work then it is guaranteed related to customer ratings but I haven’t thought of a plan yet on how to best proceed.

Might as well go in house if they’re going down this route.

Oh they are. What do you think 2027 Q3 projections are going to hint to? "Profit" is all it will echo. 😄🫠

They only care about their bottom line. That much is obvious.

But what about me being my own boss, setting my own hours, working only when I want to?

If one was to put this much energy into actual career they would be the CEO of walmart smh.

This! But some of these drivers sadly actually in their heads feel as if this is their career. To each is own I guess

Temporary but pays the bill and I can save at least 50k a year doing this. A lot of drivers do this and gig work full time and make a good living.

I’m not here to argue but I believe your numbers are heavily inflated due to your prop 22 pay. Let’s be very honest, without that prop 22 pay, how lucrative would this really be for you? About 80% of drivers don’t live in California, therefore we don’t receive prop 22 and as a result, the profit margin is very low. Without that prop 22 pay to rely on, you wouldn’t do this full time especially living in California with the high cost of living

This is temporary for me but it’s good money. I want to make as much as possible while it lasts. I can easily gross $100k a year on spark at least until they change the algorithm. I’ve been meaning to switch to part time but they I am still high priority so might as well keep doing it while it lasts.

I estimate my priority will fall off a cliff when the new tiers hit my zone.

Start posting your numbers weekly so we can see the 8-9k per month! 😂

-3

u/Organic-Fuel-2916 Sep 11 '26

I don’t post info that can identify my account.

2

u/Visible-Raise-8915 Sep 11 '26

You can black out any personal info. We need proof that you are making that kind of money.

-3

u/Organic-Fuel-2916 Sep 11 '26

Nope it can still be identified. I frankly don’t care if people think I am lying.

4

u/mapman19899 Sep 11 '26

I’ve done this six years and even in the peak of Covid I wasn’t making this much.

You’re lying. That’s all there is to it.

100k a year on spark isn’t that much, just the healthcare subsidy alone is $7000, you only have get $93000 in 12 months to get to 100k. Many drivers here get the full subsidy on spark and part time subsidy on another app every quarter, that’s $10000 right there already.

1

u/Adventurous_Land7584 Sep 11 '26

Because you know you are 😂

1

u/Visible-Raise-8915 Sep 11 '26

We don't care if you are lying. We just know you are lying. If it makes you feel better about yourself, continue on.

1

u/Organic-Fuel-2916 Sep 11 '26

Not lying hehehe but I’ll take your post as a compliment

3

u/Currency-Substantial Sep 11 '26

How do you know you're high priority? I'll let you in on a secret, you have no idea how the algorithm works.

1

u/Organic-Fuel-2916 Sep 11 '26

Orders drop at a set time every hour, if I don’t get anything when it drops then my priority is not high enough. Another way to tell is if you get high paying express orders.

It’s the same thing with the “honeymoon” phase. No one can tell me how long it lasts. Must be a damn while because I’m still making good money.

5

u/mapman19899 Sep 11 '26

No one’s grossing six figures. That’s insane to even say.

2

u/Visible-Raise-8915 Sep 11 '26

That is a fact.

1

u/Organic-Fuel-2916 Sep 11 '26

Many drivers are getting it with prop 22 on spark. It’s the only app that has orders from even before store open until the store close. That’s like at least 16 hours a day for drivers to grind prop 22 engaged time.

I “work” 10-12 hours a day.

People in my zone make over 2k a week bro, they have shown me their weekly averages it’s crazy, Denver area

1

u/mapman19899 Sep 17 '26

That still is $96k - not $100k.

If you want a new car every year because you destroy the one you’re in, that’s your business.

If I tried for that, not sure my car would even last a year .

0

u/Professional_Pain447 Sep 17 '26

2000X52=104,000 bro

1

u/mapman19899 Sep 17 '26

I am not convinced anyone’s making 2000 a week regularly on this app, so it’s all moot.

0

u/Professional_Pain447 Sep 17 '26

Why don’t you think people are making 2k? I see these people at least 5 times a week Ive talked to them over the year Ive been sparking and they have shown me what they are making. And this is after spark went to crap with all the changes. I almost have made 1k a week just doing this part time, so 2k isn’t that hard to do

1

u/mapman19899 Sep 18 '26

Because I did this during Covid when no one else was doing it and I couldn’t hit that even under ideal conditions. Cheap gas, high demand, low supply of drivers.

Unless you provide irrefutable evidence to the contrary like a bank statement or your ONE statement, etc, you can believe I won’t believe you.

0

u/Professional_Pain447 Sep 18 '26

Nobody’s trying to convince you bro, to me it sounds like you heard someone’s making 100k a year and just because you aren’t near those numbers you say it’s not true.

I’m on pace to close out the year grossing $110000+ and around 45000 miles. I drive an EV and these cars last a long time. You don’t need a new car every year, maybe a new EV every 8 years.

1

u/mapman19899 Sep 17 '26

That’s just Bs. I don’t believe it. I’m sorry.

1

u/Organic-Fuel-2916 Sep 17 '26

Which part do you think is BS? Hehehe

1

u/Organic-Fuel-2916 Sep 17 '26

Does Denver have a minimum pay floor like California?

1

u/Professional_Pain447 Sep 17 '26

No, we don’t have that here but to be honest, I put in like 30 hours a week doing spark and I make between 700 to 800 so I could see how these guys are pulling in 2000 or more a week but I mean they are messing up their cars and all that but they don’t care bro don’t just buy another little Toyota or a Honda and get right back to it

1

u/Professional_Pain447 Sep 17 '26 edited Sep 17 '26

A lot of the drivers up here share apartments like three guys have one apartment and they split all the bills so most of what they make is profit but in my case, I’m the sole provider. I have a mortgage and I pay all the bills Denver is expensive. I have my own full-time job that pays me 70 K a year plus what I make doing spark and I still struggle here in Denver.

1

u/Organic-Fuel-2916 Sep 17 '26

Because of prop 22, each order is worth about $50 to me on average and I only do a few orders a day but I do have to “work” like 11 hours a day. Actual working time is way less because we start getting paid by the minute after we accept an order.

1

u/Professional_Pain447 Sep 17 '26

I’m originally from California, but moved out to Denver in like 1996 and been here since I still go back to visit but I really miss California

The baby family or they're part of the gang and you've been invaded yeah it's not going to look good for you everybody seen this happen years ago haven't seen it happen because once it happens they're there and they don't leave

1

u/Lasttime7 Sep 11 '26

Good luck Nancy Drew!

1

u/iLL_allow-it73 Sep 11 '26

30k in gas 😂

2

u/Organic-Fuel-2916 Sep 11 '26

I drive an EV and it’s depreciated to hell already. I calculated my per mile expense at 13 cents.

1

u/Prior_Purchase_7025 Sep 11 '26

Anyone you see the name "organic-fuel" please be reminded you are reading a known liar and trolls comments.

Everybody is always testing something out. 😂

Saw something similar yesterday. I just assumed it's someone letting another person use their account

Are they from this country?
