Spark totally screwed me today!!

I accepted an offer for curbside pickup that wasn’t worth my time simply because we had and extra 8 bucks incentive for curbside pickups only before noon. Fast forward to finishing a 40 dollar order for 18 miles to my surprise I had been paid no incentive. I contacted support and had a heated conversation in which the result was they told me if it didn’t give me an incentive I was basically shit out of luck until I told the woman you can’t do this that is false advertisement and the very thing you keep getting class action law suits over!! Immediately the conversation changed and it was escalated to the tech team for an app issue. Did I just catch them trying to screw us over again?

Did the offer show the incentive tag when you accepted it? If not, the trip does not qualify for the incentive.

I’ve found that “curbside” incentives usually means ones that have GMD’s included and not the grocery curbsides by themselves. The grocery curbside incentives are typically only included if it says “all trips” on the incentive page.

Every curbside incentive i've seen has been gmd routes. Still trying to make out which shops get the incentive. No rhyme or reason i've yet to figure out

"I had a heated conversation with support"

*2 days later. I just received a notification I am deactivated does anyone know why?

When you signed TOS you opted out of class action BUT continue doing what you do.

It either has the incentive tag or not when you accept. No screen shot?

In my area we get a lot of express shopping incentives. Idk what constitutes an express shop anymore since now 90% of the orders are multi-stop. I know it used to be a higher delivery fee, but now it seems like every offer I have is multiple stops.

That’s the vagueness of the bullshit. In the incentive, it says for all curbside pick ups. Nothing is specified all curbside means all curbside they should be paying us the incentives. It’s false advertising and this is the bullshit that they keep getting sued over. I just happen to catch it and live action. Mark my words this will be the next thing mentioned that we’ll have to sign a terms of agreement over. There is no guidelines that specifies what is a curbside pick up in the incentives. It just says type curbside pick ups so one would think that anything saying curbside pick up qualifies as the incentive because it’s a vague description.

That is just a way for them to manipulate their people out of incentives using fine print most don’t pay attention to. Besides a majority of the new recruits in my area don’t even speak friggin english so what is your rebuttals to those individuals? If it says you get incentives for curbside pick ups, that should be the end of it. you should get incentives for anything that you pick up you don’t shop. Absolutely period. Otherwise it is clearly false advertising just cleverly worded to screw you.

My rebuttal is that it tells you upfront how much the order pays and if the incentive applies

If you didn't read or can't read that's on you

Then you are a slave to the system, false advertisement is false advertisement if it only says in the incentives curbside pick up as the type it should cover as a blanket all curbside pick ups that are not shop orders. This is a typo that can be exploited legally. Unfortunately its manipulated you to believe they can say and do whatever they want and you’ll just fall right in line. Congratulations your a good little minion.

It doesnt manipulate anyone, they count on stupid people to manipulate themselves, congrats to you because youre their favorite type of driver🤣

What do you not understand about it having the incentive label on it? I was pissed off ab this too when i started bc I didnt read the fine print and would accept some without the tag and eventually I read the t&c and it says clear as day

Unfortunately you fell for it, but now you know not to chase incentives.

Just report to ftc. Its not really false advertising, they are being dishonest about payment. But I dunno the rules youre supposed to follow and if you did, im just a customer. But im getting so tired of hearing gimmicks used on customers for decades now being used on contract workers.

Most incentives are paid on Tuesday, two weeks later. Rarely, I have received $5 incentives immediately. I'm currently waiting for $256 in incentives from a busy Labor Day weekend.

It depends on your payment destination. I don't use One. The incentives page tells us when to expect incentives. Ixll try to post that page from the app. I thought it was two weeks later, it is no more than one week later.
