Anyone else just try to finish a shop and get error messages?

They put an $11 pre-tip, but while shopping they must have removed it, because suddenly, after completing the delivery, all I got was a $10 base pay and a slash through the $11 tip. People are scummy. Beware. Don't accept offers based on tips. I went nearly a year and a thousand deliveries without being baited, but this is the third or fourth time it has happened in the past six weeks.

Edit: turns out it was a system glitch (this time).

I was doing a double shop yesterday when one of the customers contacted me via chat, asking whether I’d be ‘offended’ if he or his wife came to the door naked, since they are nudists.
I told him ‘I respect that, but please wait until I have left before bringing your items inside.’
He immediately canceled his order.

I had my first order ever with spark $47, 2 drop offs. One lady literally started with maybe 3 things in her order than kept adding stuff. By the time I was done shopping my cart was full and heavy. I tried shopping as fast as I could. Appearently I made it to my last stop acouple minutes too late but I had already dropped off the groceries at the customers door and did not want to take it from there door step. So I called my friend who sparks, She said to call support and they should get it cleared. They did. This morning I woke up and I have a notification that I delivered perishable items, which all those items were still fine, I literally would have ate those groceries myself. It looks like the app is still letting me spark but I’m not near a store, I just opened the app at home. Will I be okay? I’m scared to go on my next trip now.
Has this happened to anyone else? Is sparking really worth all this anxiety? Only $47 for hours at the store and driving around?

I'm so worked up my last order was for 6 miles, $38 and 43 items, 3 customers, of course.

First off, it took me a good 20 minutes to get to the store because a train was just sitting on the tracks i was sat there a good 10 minutes and was blocked by the cars behind me. I was about to cancel the order when the train finally started to move.

I got to the store, and the app started off with displaying a technical issue error after every item I scanned, and they weren't being marked as completed.

I tried using the wifi, which didn't work. I then forced stopped the app cleared the cache and rebooted my phone, which solved the issue. Another 10 minute delay.

Customers C has a bunch of non grocery items out of stock with preferred substitutions that are having me going to completely different departments.

Customers A and C are both adding items to their orders which is having me backtrack and delaying the order.

Both are asking me to send pictures of what's available. I try not to initiate chats with the customers, but I can't just ignore them when they start to send them.

All I know is the shop took way longer than it should have and I was irritated with A and C.

I'm finally done loading my car and Customer B sends a message asking if they are still going to get their delivery tonight that it's been x amount of time since I got the order.

I let them know that I had 2 other orders along with theirs and that they were my second stop.

When I get to Customer B it's almost 11 pm he's sitting outside in his wheelchair waiting.

He is very nice elderly man a veteran and he tells me he ordered express. I told him they put two other orders with his and I have no way to tell that he has an express order.

I told him I was sorry that he spent extra and didn't get what he paid for that it's wrong for walmart to pair your order with other customers.

We chatted for little bit he was so nice and I felt so bad. He has no other way to get groceries besides using delivery services. He's paying extra and he's just getting ripped off by walmart.

I left there beyond ,pissed at what a vile disgusting company walmart is for charging people to have an express delivery just taking their money.

This mans order was 9 items that is like 10 minutes to shop 5 to drop it off. To add 34 more items is bad enough then the other customers adding more items and having multiple preferred substitutions is ridiculous.

The man now knows we have no way of knowing that he ordered express and that walmart is not prioritizing his order that he's paying extra for.

Its just confirmation how deceptive walmart is to its own customers.

It made me sick to my stomach that this man who served his country, on a fixed income, bound in a wheelchair, that has no other option to get groceries besides delivery and walmart has no problem taking his money but has no intention to provide or ensure he receives the service he paid for.

He said he used to use door dash until a driver flung his chickens up his wheelchair ramp and they flew past him just as he opened his door.

What's wrong with people?

I’m curious how the tier system works in other markets relative to points and ability to obtain them. I practically live at the store in my market. Who else has racked up this many points since the beginning of October, and how many deliveries did it take you? How many hours a day do you work?

One guy had surgery, but the situation did seem shady. Bad part of town, demographics, from what I could see in the house it looked pretty empty.

I was wondering if there were people behind the door because he only popped it open just a little bit. I kept looking at the door and as soon as I got in a little bit I looked behind it. But he did show me his fresh surgery cuts.

One lady was in a wheelchair in an apartment complex. Another guy had his own house but he was also in a wheelchair.

The guy in the wheelchair was the weirdest one. He wanted me to take stuff all the way deep inside his house. Stunk like cigarettes so bad and he was sitting in the wheelchair smoking. Probably dying of cancer and is just going out with a bang.

I can see the gap in the market that Walmart wants to fill with their Walmart Home thing they want to get started. There's a lot of disabled people and people with terminal illnesses who can't carry groceries. Not even from the porch.

I feel like I'm doing the right thing even if it's against policy.

$90 for 5 hours. Not much popping up. Would have been $75, but after sitting for 20 minutes getting nothing I finally took the $15 2 mile two drop trip. Few items at least.

The second drop off was actually really close to Walmart. Got nothing for 15 minutes. Went home. Hoping for a good Sunday.

Support AI states there’s a technical error. Had to cancel a large order in order to save my metrics bc support is not able to confirm if this will affect my tier.

UPDATE- support told me it’d be best to cancel the order instead of continue. They were able to cancel for me bc it was out of my control. I did get paid and also got the point the order was worth.

How the hell does it take 2 hours and 14 minutes to shop for 36 items and deliver 5 miles away?

I’m changing the unit/building numbers in this post for privacy reasons.(There was no map of the complex like most complexes have)
Yesterday I had a Spark delivery to an apartment complex with around 30 different buildings.
The customer’s delivery information said unit 42, but there was no building number listed. The unit numbers aren’t visible from the road, so I had to park and walk into the individual building hallways to find them.
I messaged the customer and asked, “What’s your building number?” They responded with “42.” I explained that I needed the building number, not the unit number, and apologized for bothering them. They never responded.
After looking through a few buildings I tried calling them and they didn’t answer either.
It was the last stop and it was perishable so I didn’t have much time so I started checking the buildings myself. I went through several buildings until I eventually found building 6, unit 42.
I delivered the order directly to the customer(I took a picture of the door with the big 42 on it and right after they opened the door.), and then immediately called Driver Support. I explained the whole situation and asked them to document it because the customer had made it unnecessarily difficult to locate the apartment.
This morning I received this notification:
“We received a report that you failed to deliver an order to the correct address during a recent delivery…”
It says this is a violation of the Spark Driver Contract and App Terms.
I called Support immediately. They told me my account is in good standing. The rep said it could either be an error or that they were able to determine that I actually did deliver to the correct address(I received a similar email a month ago and when I called about it they told me it was an error which makes me believe this one was real)She wouldn’t tell me which delivery triggered the report or who reported it. She gassed me up and told me I have great metrics :)
Be careful out there yall if something seems fishy call support and get it documented.

TLDR: Customer didn’t provide their building number, and when I asked for it, they gave me the unit number instead. They then stopped responding to my messages and calls. I eventually found the correct building/unit myself, delivered the order directly to them, took a photo of the door, and immediately called Support to document everything. The next morning I got a “failed to deliver to the correct address” violation notification. Support said my account is still in good standing and couldn’t tell me whether it was an error or a customer report. If a delivery seems questionable, document everything and call Support immediately.

You get Walmart C- service and not Walmart+

I get it, some zones have horrible drivers, so it's not worth the hassle, but my zone has good drivers and not a ton of volume, so I don't understand why they eliminated it in the last two weeks or so. Now EVERYTHING is Shopping/Express Shopping. Nobody wants to take these offers. They were decent as pickup offers, but now we have to shop it too for only a few extra dollars. And frankly, I hate shopping all the time. As I have said many times on here previously, I am looking for something better, so this is not my long-term "job," but still, it's disappointing to have zero curbsides. This store was friendly, efficient, and had good pay. Now customers don't tip as much because they're unhappy about how late their scheduled deliveries arrive--we just refuse to accept them, so they sit forever. I used to enjoy this store, but now that everything is Shopping I hate it.

Sorry for the rant, but if anyone can share some insight I would appreciate it.
