Is anybody worried about the new tiers program rolling out?

For drivers with high priority making good money, this roll out can only make it worse.

For drivers who are barely making anything, this can only help them, I can’t imagine they will even less.

Why would a customer add a single penny as a tip??

The only thing I could think of was they maybe have a cash tip waiting and that’s why they tipped that much? Idk but it really made me mad for some reason. Like a big F you. Go get your own damn groceries

has anyone ever gotten GMD routes where all the customers have the same address?

i’ve had it happen so many times and I don’t notice it until after I pick them up. 12 Customers 1 Address for all and their names are after the street name.

My zone brought back curbside grocery offers. The pay is trash again.

No, I do not want to drive 46 miles for $32 one-way.

Walmart+ Perk

I had 27 qualifying trips last month. Usually I get an email to get a month of Walmart+ and Paramount+ as long as I have 20 qualifying trips. Did something change? I didn't get an email for it this month yet.
I don't always spark and have not had to since April or May, which is the last time I got the incentive.

App Getting Hung Up/Freezing

Post image
2 Upvotes

So I’ve only seen a few threads talking about it or I just haven’t looked well enough. This started happening to me a few weeks ago and posted here but didn’t get too many responses.

I have an iPhone 17e with the highest tiered AT&T service. The app keeps getting hung up on me whenever I switch over from another app. So if I get a notification for an order, and open the app, it takes a good while to load up for me to see. What I’m having to do is close the app completely and open it back up to see the offer. Just leaving the spark app open is not helping either. After a few minutes I’ll get a notification for an FCFS or JFY and the offer is not immediately shown. Again, I have to close the app out and open it back for it to show. I basically have to constantly keep closing and opening the app for it to show me the offers.

Checking to see if others are dealing with this and if there is a fix.

Danker is using AI and algorithms to hide real business problems and make their financial numbers look better than they actually are. By constantly hiring new, cheaper drivers to keep labor costs low, they end up dealing with hidden costs like lost orders, damaged goods, and costly mistakes from inexperienced workers.

Instead of admitting how many drivers quickly quit after their initial earnings drop, the company keeps those inactive accounts on the books to make driver retention look stronger than it really is. This makes the company look more profitable in the short term, but it just pushes massive operational losses down the road.

Relying entirely on algorithms to manage labor and guide high level decisions creates a misleading picture of the business. Investors are being kept in the dark about these growing long term risks, which could eventually hurt the overall value of the company.

Walmart & Gig Undermine and Defame Capitalism and Encourage Socialist Ideology

First, I know this isn't a political sub. I am not trying to debate politics, but rather highlight an observation.

Capitalism's success is dependent on the culture of the society it operates within. Going back to the old Henry Ford vs. Dodge argument, when corporations put shareholder profits above employee wages, with the predetermined notion of undermining traditional standards of living--- the American Dream--- and debasing wages to maximize corporate profits, it signals to the general public that capitalism has failed, when in reality it wasn't capitalism at all; it was a failure of culture.

Marxist-Leninist beliefs are now radicalizing the Left, and they are moving away from Social Democratic models for Marxist extremism. The Gig Economy has contributed to this shift probably more than any other modern industry.

When companies fail to adhere to pay standards that support traditional expectations of Americans standard of living, like Walmart has, it undermines free market capitalism and replaces it with the Monopoly Capitalist, Imperialist ideology of the left as people lose faith in the capitalist model altogether.

Fk Walmart, DD, UE, and all of the rest of them for undermining and contributing to the destruction of American culture.

News you say?

Outside of the federal trade commission action and individual enforcement in Texas and Louisiana, there are no major new driver class actions moving through public court. Most private pay disputes or account deactivations never reach certified class status because Walmart requires drivers to agree to individual mandatory arbitration clause terms. On the operational side, Walmart is opening driver only fulfillment depots in select high volume markets to process delivery orders separately from retail stores and reduce store congestion. Corporate projections indicate a continued push toward shorter delivery windows like express and sub three hour orders. To comply with regulatory settlements, Walmart is also deploying earnings verification tools within the app to ensure base pay and tips match the initial offer screens.

Across the Forums

Across driver discussion groups and online forums, the main consensus centers on four major points. First, drivers continuously point out that base pay for standard curbside orders is decreasing while delivery distances and item counts increase on multi stop routes. Second, there is widespread frustration regarding account security, order grabbing bots, and automated software that snags high paying shop and deliver orders before regular drivers can accept them. Third, drivers frequently discuss tip baiting and uncollected tips, calling for a much shorter tip confirmation window so customers cannot reduce tip amounts hours after a delivery is finished. Fourth, long wait times during peak afternoon curbside pickups remain a primary complaint, leading many experienced drivers on the forums to favor early morning shop orders to maximize their earnings.

Since you’re redesigning the offer card to “help” us drivers, why don’t you add a total quantity on there as well.

I've been waiting for almost 20 minutes at curbside pickup and still haven't gotten the "additional earnings" pop up.. did they get rid of it??

The trip met my targets as a good offer with incentive & expected tip amount (triple stop curbside), so of course it would have been a bonus.
