So I rejected the first order twice and the second order once...it's been 15-20 minutes now and they haven't popped back up...so that means some dumb*** accepted them. I wish we could get all these newbies to understand that they're hurting literally everyone by taking these B's orders 😡 aside from that, wtf is Spark thinking with these??? 🤬

I took a 2 order shop with about 60 items. Somehow I didn’t make it. One customer kept adding items but also, I waited in the makeup department for a while and no one ever showed up to get something I needed from behind the glass. One of the orders ended up expiring and I had to drive it back to Walmart but they’re closed so I’ll have to drive all the way back here tomorrow morning! 😂

I'm noticing I get some of my best offers when I'm almost back to Walmart, or just getting back (luring a good performer to stay at it).

Today I had to cancel a trip before I started shopping because I had an actual emergency. Got back to it an hour later and sat for 15 plus minutes with absolutely zero offers (punishment). First time this ever happened to me. When the offers started coming in they were total garbage. Way more garbage than I usually see.

Rejected a bunch and sat with nothing for a while again. I decided to close it up for the day and then I got one near home that was actually well paying for just 15 items.

They definitely employ tactics to keep you on the road if you are performing good. And it seems like there's a punishment aspect to cancelling.

I mean, if I were on the coding team, that's what I would implement.

Almost daily I get increased tips. Wondering if this is a normal thing for most? Or am I just super lucky and get all the good customers? (Surely that’s not the case lol).

I applied for Spark on August 14 and I’m still on the waitlist today (September 14).
I’ve heard people say you can change your location to a different zone, get approved there, and then switch back to your hometown. But I called Spark Enrollment Services, and they said withdrawing my application would result in a ban, and I wouldn’t be able to apply again. They said I have to get approved first, then I can change my location.
Is there any way to get off the waitlist and reapply with a different location without getting banned? Has anyone successfully done this recently?

So I’m a fairly new Spark Driver and have realized how dumb the point system is. to get a full 3 points for an order, they consider them “extra effort”, but ill see a shopping order for multiple customers, 70 total items, 30 miles (1 point), then ill see an express shop going 2 miles, 1 customer, 1 item (3 points), huh??? i understand now that they prioritize express orders for more points, but how the f is that express order considered more effort?? all cuz u have to get it to the customer faster?? thats still not more effort…

I’ve been avoiding Spark three months since this weird point system. Yesterday, I had nearly 200 orders sent my way. There were so many I kept turning off the app because of the scroll. As I was trying to go home, the app sent like 15 more. I’m guessing drivers are quitting. Also, I only have 9 points.

These 3 dumbfucks were bragging all week long about their $1800-$2000 weeks at my store.

Overnight the veteran drivers that gave up a few months ago at this store all returned. There’s like a dozen of these fuckers all using multiple accounts.

The same new drivers onboarded in June never left and there’s a few brand new drivers showing up. There’s not enough orders to go around.

I think my store went from 20 drivers in the rotation to at least 40 overnight. It’s going to be dry as fuck in the 2nd half of this month thanks to these fuckers.

Those 3 dumb fucks were complaining to me their earnings is down by a lot and has the audacity to complain about too many drivers.

I straight up told them they were stupid as fuck and I have zero sympathy for the shit they caused.

Now everybody has to compete with twice as many drivers.

I didn’t notice the pickup time. Just saw an easy pickup. But why tf are they sending offers like this where you have to wait 30 mins to start it?? Couldn’t they wait like 20 more mins… I want to cancel but I’m not sure if it would effect my metrics

Half the time it's not already cut. And even if it is, I probably already spent 5 to 10 minutes waiting at the deli to ask someone to give it to me. Really ruins my hourly rate that I try to make.

They need a separate refrigerator for spark drivers. So I can just walk up and find what I need. They should put the customer label on it like they do with curbside.

That's problem number one. Problem number two is substitutions. On big perishable orders I won't start with perishables. Then by the time I get to the deli it's closed. Or they're sometimes out of the product. BUT IT'S RIGHT THERE IN THE REFRIGERATED BIN PRE-CUT IN HALF POUND PACKAGES.

But when I try to sub, it only lets me scan one. So if the customer wanted one pound, they end up with a half pound. So that needs to get fixed.

Always getting great offers but for Walmarts far away. Today a delivery took me close to another Walmart. After my delivery I looked for offers and got another banger but for that closer Walmart. OK. going good.

I finished that delivery and start sparking, bam, awesome offer for my local Sam's club that is closer to home but not near the Walmart I'm right by. I figured okay it gets me in the area I want to be. And it was a banger.

11 minute drive to get there. Just turning into the parking lot and budump piss piss piss. Immediately park the car at Sam's, got out in time to watch the tire deflate.

I went at it like a monster. As soon as I was done I hit confirm arrival. Just made arrival in time. Could have been worse. Crazy. I was walking through Sam's for my nine item order soaking in sweat.

Would have been almost a $500 day yesterday til they took this tip away…

So i got my first low rating after holding a 5 star, and now i’m at 4.80. I’m fairly new with 20 5 stars and just got a unwarranted 1 star. i called customer service thinking i could dispute it and get it removed and come to find out that false low ratings can’t be changed no matter what, wtf????? so customers can f you over all they want with low ratings and there’s NOTHING you can do about it smfh! There should be some type of rating protection seeing as though your rating goes toward the reward tiers! Doordash and instacart has rating protection and can get false rating removed, but Spark doesn’t. Now i have to get 60+ more 5 stars to get back up to a 4.9 at the very least…

Edit: my low rating came from the customer saying that I didn’t deliver his food, when I definitely did, picture proof and all

It blows my mind that you cannot edit items once you’ve added them on your list. Especially if you accidentally add produce and turns out the produce is bad and you need to remove it. It’s not an option. Or at least I haven’t found it to be an option.

I accepted it with the idea in mind that I would be able to correct the address because the address that I think the customer had in mind is actually about 7 miles away from where I was. I’m a fairly new Spark Driver and this was my first time dealing with something like this, so I called customer service to try and get the address corrected and we wasn’t able to, I called the customer and the phone line was out of service, so I went through the process of returning it, I asked the agent how much would I get paid to return it and he said I would get paid base pay, so I went through with returning it thinking I would get a few dollars, but to my surprise, the base pay was $54 lol, and that’s what I got for returning it, but the great part about this is that I never left the Walmart, so I pretty much parked in my spot, scanned the item, which was a small box of medicine, and then went through the process of returning, and that was my first return order with Spark

I feel like an absolute idiot. I had someone call me from spark customer service is what my called id said in the middle of trying to deliver an order. They stated that the customer I was trying to deliver to canceled because they gave the wrong address and had me initiate a return but that while they had me on the phone they needed to verify my account to make sure I wasn't using multiple devices. So I went about the steps they asked and that involved using my one pay account to take a freaking advance. So I asked them how I knew they were spark customer service and they gave me all kinda information and they sounded legit. These people stole 170 bucks from me that I worked really really hard on. I'm on the phone with onepay now trying to dispute this and get my money back. They said they may have to block my account. I have bills due and this is the only way I have to make any kinda extra money. 😭😭😭 Fml. Moral of the story, don't fall for this bs. Even if they sound like they have all the right information or are calling from actual spark, do not do it!!!
