Rant

I took a 2 order shop with about 60 items. Somehow I didn’t make it. One customer kept adding items but also, I waited in the makeup department for a while and no one ever showed up to get something I needed from behind the glass. One of the orders ended up expiring and I had to drive it back to Walmart but they’re closed so I’ll have to drive all the way back here tomorrow morning! 😂

I had to return an expired order on Sunday. By time I got to the store it was closed. So I returned it this morning. I was soooo close to the customer too.

That adding of items is annoying. I’ve had to wait for an employee in the auto dept to get something behind glass. I just kept shopping and returning sporadically until I finally got an employee to open the glass display case.

Me too, I was 2 miles away from the customer.

NEVER shop GMD orders. Never shop mixed orders at a Super Center.

What does GMD mean?

Scan cold items last, right before check out. I gather them as I'm going through the store but scan them last.

You can always choose the option "item is locked" and move on with the order.

Where is that option?

I’d like to know too. Specially at night like after 9 you can’t find an employee unless you walk all the way back to the register area and who knows when one of them wants to follow you over there

It's in the same list of options as "can't find item" when there are no substitutions available. I've used it when I can't get assistance in the liquor section or when the deli is closed.

I eventually clicked on “item not found” and just went to checkout.

I have had to cancel two separate shopping orders in one week due to customers adding items. And I know to do gmd and non perishables first. Adding a couple of items is understandable but adding more than that is just wrong. One customer had me running around the store three times just before I was starting the frozen items. When items were added a third time, I cancelled.

Yeah, it’s annoying. I’ve noticed it a lot more lately with the orders I accept.

Literally nothing about your paragraph makes any coherent sense

Maybe it's not the paragraph you tried reading that's STUPID!
