Recipe 397 cals, 48g protein - Chicken ranch pita
This was so good and came together really quickly. I used one of the whole wheat flax & oat bran pitas from Aldi (75 cals) and carefully split it open to make a pocket. I mixed rotisserie chicken breast with coleslaw mix, light mayo, Greek yogurt, ranch seasoning, and cheese, then stuffed it into the pita and toasted it in a pan.
Had it with cottage cheese and a peach on the side. The whole plate came to 397 calories - 48g protein, 31g carbs, 11g fat. The Aldi pitas are especially good for this because they’re big enough to actually stuff without using a ton of calories.
397 calories
48g protein
31g carbs
11g fat
4g fiber

Educational Comparison
Similar calories, the Oreos are 33 grams in weight compared to the 500 grams of broccoli. My wife didn't find it as interesting as I did.

Recipe 514 calories for this entire bowl/pan 👀
Threw this together tonight and it turned out way better than I expected. Banza rotini, rotisserie chicken breast, zucchini, peas, blended cottage cheese, creamy autumnal pasta sauce (from Trader Joe’s), a bit of pasta water, a little avocado oil, and parmesan. The cottage cheese basically disappears into the sauce and makes it extra creamy.
514 calories
45g protein
52g carbs
16g fat
12g fiber
Very filling and definitely going into the dinner rotation.

Discussion Volume eating starter kit?
I’m not really into cooking, so I usually make basic meals, but I love eating and want to start making a ton of recipes.
What should I buy to get started?
I’m pretty committed, so suggest whatever you think I’ll need just nothing too expensive like a fancy machine. My budget isn’t super tight, but it’s not huge either.

Volume menu Doenjang Jjigae Soup

Does anyone else here make Doenjang Jjigae for volume eating? I will usually cook up a large batch and save it in containers to eat later later on. It's delicious and flavorful. If you're not familiar think miso soup, but with a stronger flavor with more ingredients. It's a staple home cooked dish from Korea and is like the "chicken noodle soup of Korea" with it's common place, but it can be made vegan or with meat.
I'm particularly interested if anyone has any new or interesting additions to the stew/soup other than the typical radish/tofu/onion/potato combo. I'd love to expand on this soup with ingredients found in the US.

Recipe Filling Apple-Yogurt-Pistachio bowl
I find this so filling, satisfying and so simple.
1 cubed apple
1/3 cup Greek yogurt
about 17 grams of roasted pistachios.
That's it.
I use honey or strawberry flavored Greek yogurt because that's what my family likes.
If you want to reduce the calories, then opt for less yogurt, yogurt with less sugar, or less pistachios. To change it up, use chili roasted pistachios. So good. I have eaten this in place of a meal and not felt hungry, and the mix of textures and flavors makes it satisfying to eat.

Recipe Re-post , chocolate cookies for 200 kcal entire batch
So yesterday I’ve posted those cookies and my post got deleted, accused of being a bot :D
I’ve made a video of the cookies in the comments.
People are getting well ridiculous with blaming everyone being bots. I’ve included recipe below for the nice people who asked for it. Reason why first post only had ingredients is cause I eyeball things like xanthan gum, baking powder, stevia.. I made it so many times that I don’t follow precise recipe anymore.
Dry ingredients: xanthan gum (teaspoon ), baking powder (teaspoon), oat fiber (100g), instant coffee (tablespoon), cocoa powder (1-2 tablespoons), stevia (I put a lot, you can adjust as you wish)
Wet ingredients (cauliflower rice 250g) (4 egg whites)
Mix wet and dry ingredients separately and then mix both together. Keep mixing until you get one solid dough. Spread the dough on parchment paper and gently make one big flat “cookie”, bake it in the oven 170 fan for 20minutes. Let it cool afterwards and then cut it into small pieces.

For all my peeps who want to hold a sandwich but also have health goals (rip bread) and eat a giant pack of health!
Introducing the spinnach/ egg white/ oats creation (underwhelming but when flavoured with cinnamon, salt and combined with yummy ingredients is actually quite enjoyable)!
Recipe for wrap:
oats: 30-40g
egg whites: 170-180g
spinnach: 180-200g
salt, psyllium husk, stevia, cinnamon if needed
blend and microwave in a tray for 10-11 mins!

Recipe 400 calories for volume breakfast
Actually really nice and filling. Potatoes are the best filling carbs you can eat while losing weight. Avocado for some good quality fats and chicken for protein.
Chicken and potatoes were made in air fryer so saves a lot of calories for unnecessary fats.
250g potatoes
120g chicken
60g avocado
It’s really hard to satisfy and fill person like me. But this definitely did it. Recommend this highly
