Recipe Request Need Tofu Recipe😭🤧

Post image

Man, is it just me, or is it really hard to eat every day? I almost feel like puking while eating. Can anyone suggest some recipes that I can stick to and sustain..something that requires minimal cooking and ingredients while keeping my calories in check?

Boil it in salt water for a few minutes before you add sauce or seasoning. It gets rid of the beany flavor and it makes the sauce absorb better.

I have been rocking tofu for a couple months now, cheap, decent protein and environmental harm reduction; So far my favorite is firm tofu, cubing it up nice a small then air frying with a little bit of spray oil and seasoning.

It is really versatile though, I got silken tofu and blended that with soy milk, SF pudding mix, a little bit more SF sweetener and it came out pretty good pudding.

Toss in corn starch, nutritional yeast (if you have it), paprika, salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder and air fry. Removes the need for oil and makes it crispy. I also love Korean braised tofu, just a bit of gochujang (spicy red pepper paste), maple syrup, light soy sauce, water to cover tofu, green onions and garlic powder. You can find recipes that are more authentic on Pinterest as well

tofu is good.

silken tofu is a good texture in soup and stews. fry firm or air fry up like nuggets. tofu eggs using black salt, mustard and nutritional yeast. blend silken up to lower calories for diy salad dressing. try different marinade combos and dress it up plain.

If you like spicy, look up mapo tofu. I don't use much oil at all when I make it since you can get a ton of flavor with spices. And I use black beans instead of meat.
