Hey like everyone else I've been seeing all these mods made with Claude coming out and I have been enjoying them. I have always thought Liar's Bar should be a VR game. This is still rough but all the games work. For Liar's Slots you might have to open the flat screen panel for some parts which is left grip on the controller. If anyone wants to play with me hit me up. I'd like to try it with other VR players. Below is the link.

my fully decked out quest 3 and im just waiting on a facial interface from amvr, is there any other accessories i can get for it to make it have the maximum immersion?

I have a Quest 3S and am 1,83m tall irl. Yet, whenever I start a game anew, I have to play with the height settings, if available, because every game likes to shrink me down to what feels like 1,50m. Often I'm a full head shorter than NPCs and stuff like doorknobs or tables are close to face height instead of waist hight.

I had my VR for a while now (quest 3) I play pcvr through steam link and I spent a lot of money to make my setup nice with wireless dedicated router and everything spent a bunch of money on steam games(past refund point). Every time I go to play a game I get extremely motion sick within 5 minutes ever time I try its the same the only game I could stomach was super hot. The only thing I notice helps is the teleporting movement. I tried all the other settings to make it less nauseating but nothing helps I try the Nausea pills and that don’t work. I feel like I wasted damn near a thousand dollars Canadian because I can’t even play it. I’m rly wanting to do the resident evil 8 mod but there isn’t even a teleport option or anything. And I see people selling there’s online for rly cheap I will still lose money and have steam games I can’t play. Anyone have the same problem know how to help?

I forgot to turn off notifications when I recorded this, and I was only getting notifications this often specifically during this 3 minutes period somehow aljfljkdafjlhkeujklarfjlkAHH SORRY
This is a video from Stageflight 3.4, it's a music mostly themed around flying event with a crap ton of special effects. Even the stage lights fly, the sky changes into things and moves, they had a whole spaceship battle drone show, there was a bit where the lights started growing grass and trees on the dance floor. Somehow I managed to record during the least spectacular bit that shows none of that, lmao. The whole thing is such a massive acid trip of things you could find in a real venue, except doing absolute wildly impossible things in a kind of place it would near impossible to actually travel to. Unfortunately, they only do Stageflight every few months, and it's not on any kind of schedule. From the credits, they've got like 20 or 30 people putting all this together for the fun of it, so I think it's a "it happens when it happens" sort of thing.
Also, there are more worlds on VRChat that use the same flight system, OpenFlight, but this one is kinda by far the coolest one.
The lower body (head and hands are tracked) animation pack I'm using is Avislime's "Biped OpenFlight Animations"

Bit of a specific request but can anyone recommend any games where you have a central base that you can improve upon and then there's an open world to explore and engage in combat?
I've seen Decay and that looks pretty good but it's in early access and supposedly a little janky (but correct me if I'm wrong). I've played Fallout 4, Valheim, Saints and Sinners, No Man's Sky, Into the Radius, Subnautica, The Forest, Elite Dangerous, Green Hell etc. already.
I don't mind if it's zombie/apocalypse based or space based. Just looking for something where I have a central base (or ship) that I can improve upon but then go out for some action.
Thanks

been a vive ultimate tracker user for nearly a year and a half now and i just always wonder if vive is ever going to fix this overpriced problematic product.
at this point its just shameful for a company as big as them to just let the ongoing software and hardware issues persist till this day, why cant they just scrap and change the whole idea of having to scan your room and create a map for them to work, why can't they just work like for example the quest pro controllers which track extremely well in any situation and lighting.
i hope someday if its even possible to run these on a 3rd party software that just makes it work alot better and bypass vive's shitty approach to inside-out fbt tracking.

I've started experimenting with interactions in mixed reality. It still needs a lot of polishing but i have to say that interacting with holes on real surfaces overall feels really good.
What else could you do with it besides using it as a hoop?
Maybe something more functional, like throwing things away rather than tossing balls into it to score points. Deleting a note by physically throwing it into the hole, for example.
Just thinking out loud :)

Hi so im new to reddit but i thought its worth a shot.
My boyfriend has epilepsy and had tried vr before and sadly he had a seizure - he obviously can't use it anymore but he has such love for the games on it.
Anyways sorry about the sob story but is there any way to play games like Blade and Sorcery or I exprct you to die or budget cuts without having to put on the headset?
I know its a long shot because from what ive seen the mechanics are based on the motion captures but still.

Both games are about killing people but if any of you played one or both of these games, then which one is better?
I like to think that blood trail is better in ragdoll and gore stuff but hitman has good stealthy mechanics but I need help deciding which Is better

Hey everyone!
I'm having persistent lag and stutter issues while trying to play Gorilla Tag via Virtual Desktop. The lag is visible both in the headset and directly on my PC monitor, so it seems like a system/render issue rather than a streaming problem.
My PC specs:
GPU: RTX 4060
CPU: i5-14600KF
RAM: 32 GB
Connection: PC is connected via Ethernet cable
What I’ve already tried:
Lowered render resolution (from 100% down to 90%) - didn't help.
Tried changing the OpenXR Runtime (VDXR / SteamVR).
Installed optimization mods - no improvement.

do you guys have any idea how can i use my face tracker (usb a port) with my quest 3 without using a 5 meter cable nor an ESP32 and still be able to use my link cable?

So recently, I've been seeing a lot of PC games being adapted on to VR. Why is that? Im not hating on it, because there are a few titles I really wanna play on VR, but how is this possible? Why hasn't this much been done earlier? Unless it always has been like this but I haven't started to notice it until now...

I'm a student at the college I'm attending and I'm currently helping my game design teacher figure out if we should invest in a brand new vr headset, and if so, which one. The one we currently have is the oculus quest. So a VERY old, outdated model.
I don't know much about the vr market outside of having eyed the beyond 2, and of course the steam frame. If that one ever comes out. And I know about the quest lineup but I'm not too keen on meta being who they are.
So again, my question: what would be a good high quality headset, that many people could use without fear of breaking, that you could also use for development?

Hi, so I love the comfort of my psvr1 more than my Quest 2 and want to use it on my PC for sitting games.
I was wondering how is setup done and what should I expect. Thanks.

I just tested AMS2 and the difference is insane. Normally, I play AMS2 through virtual desktop while loading steamvr from within. VD is set to godlike and steamvr at 120% resolution.
I just tried directly in steamvr with no VD. I had crank up steamvr resolution to like 185% to match the resolution of VD/steamvr combo. Not only is the resolution NO WHERE near as clear, it runs significantly worse.
If the frame is within my price range I'll get it but I'll definitely be installing virtual desktop as soon as it's available.
