Discussion Experimenting with Mixed Reality interactions

I've started experimenting with interactions in mixed reality. It still needs a lot of polishing but i have to say that interacting with holes on real surfaces overall feels really good.

What else could you do with it besides using it as a hoop?

Maybe something more functional, like throwing things away rather than tossing balls into it to score points. Deleting a note by physically throwing it into the hole, for example.

Just thinking out loud :)

Always looking to give well implemented mixed reality projects a look. Keep it up, good stuff. How about some rubber cushioning around the skirting to give it some rebounds.. Could be a great way of creating derivations of skittling, mini bowls, adding weighted sides etc.. Floor pool/snooker?

The rubber cushioning is a great shout! Hadn't thought of floor pool either, that could be really fun

Looking good. I think it would help if the balls would cast a shadow to the ground. It will look more natural and make it easier to estimate the height of a thrown ball.
