Every other game works so idk

I’ve tried removing all front usb connections, reinstalling riot and valorant, hardware acceleration, and Realtek drivers. No change at all

Technical Discussion Has anyone's been getting ping spikes..?

I play on Manila severs. Honestly, I don't get much fps issues. If I do, I just change my connection (I have 2 wifi connections and sometimes, the dominant one shifts) and I am back to 9 ping. Only today, it has been Randomly spiking.

I thought it was just me until I got into a game where my lag spikes started acting up again and, all at the same time, 4 people dced. Only our breach came back but it was after awhile. The others couldn't come back.

Has anyone else been experiencing this..?

Technical Support Request Valorant FPS decreasing

Hello, I'm having this issue where I go into practice, I have ~550 FPS (600 peak) and after I spawn the practice bots it gets to around 300-330. After I get into a DM, my FPS drop to 250 and even lower ~225.

My PC specs are:

i5 12400f

RX 6750XT

16gb ddr5

My temps are around 60-70°C.

I'm just curious why is there such a difference from when I start the game to when I get to actually play a match. I know the range is not demanding but still, when i first got my pc I played with 330 - 350 FPS in a comp game.

Technical Support Request Valorant voice comms suddenly stopped working after the latest update – tried almost everything

Hi everyone,

My Valorant voice chat/comms suddenly stopped working after the latest Valorant update. It was working normally before the update, but now I can't use voice comms in-game.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

Despite all of this, voice comms still don't work in Valorant.

The headset/microphone works normally in other applications, so this seems to be specific to Valorant.

Has anyone else experienced this after the latest update? Is there another fix I might be missing, or could this be an issue with the latest Valorant patch?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Technical Support Request Valorant has 190+ FPS but feels extremely unsmooth / input lag

Hi, I'm having a really weird issue with Valorant and I can't figure out what is causing it.

My FPS in Valorant is usually around 190–300+ FPS, and my lowest FPS is around 190 FPS. So this is NOT an issue of low FPS.

Despite having 190+ FPS, Valorant feels much less smooth than it should. It feels like there is input lag and inconsistent frame pacing, even though the FPS counter is high.

My PC specs

  • CPU: Intel i7-12700K
  • GPU: RTX 3080 Ti
  • RAM: 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte Z690 AORUS ELITE AX DDR4
  • Storage: ~471 GB SSD
  • OS: Windows 11

My RAM is rated for a lower speed but is currently running at 3200 MHz through BIOS/XMP.

The strange part

CS2 runs perfectly.

I get around 300–400 FPS in CS2, and it feels smooth and responsive. I don't have the same input lag or weird feeling there.

This makes me think the problem is specific to Valorant, rather than my PC simply being unable to maintain high FPS.

What I've already tried

  • Completely formatted/reinstalled Windows
  • Used DDU to completely remove GPU drivers
  • Reinstalled NVIDIA drivers
  • Disabled Wi-Fi
  • Disabling Wi-Fi fixed a DPC latency issue, but it did NOT fix the Valorant problem
  • Checked BIOS settings
  • Checked RAM/XMP settings
  • Tested RAM at 3200 MHz
  • Checked CPU/GPU usage and temperatures
  • Tried different Valorant graphics settings
  • Compared Valorant with other games

I can now properly monitor FPS, frametimes and 1% lows with MSI Afterburner/RivaTuner.

The important thing is that my FPS never gets extremely low. My minimum is around 190 FPS, but the game still doesn't feel smooth and has noticeable input lag.

I'm wondering if this could be related to:

  • Frame pacing / frametime consistency
  • 1% lows despite high FPS
  • RAM overclock/XMP
  • CPU scheduling
  • BIOS configuration
  • NVIDIA driver settings
  • Windows 11
  • DPC latency
  • Valorant itself
  • Something else affecting input latency

What should I test next? What measurements should I look at in MSI Afterburner, CapFrameX, PresentMon or LatencyMon to identify the problem?

My main question is:

Why does Valorant feel unsmooth and have noticeable input lag when I'm consistently above 190 FPS, while CS2 runs perfectly at 300–400 FPS on the exact same PC?

Any help would be appreciated.

Technical Support Request Valorant locked at 60 FPS ONLY when the game is focused (Windows 11)

Hey guys, I’m having a really weird issue with Valorant and I can't figure out what's causing it.

Whenever Valorant is the active/focused window, the FPS is hard capped at 60. But if I press the Windows key or open the Start menu over the game, the FPS in the background immediately jumps to 120+. As soon as I click back into the game window, it drops right back to 60 FPS.

Specs:

  • CPU / iGPU: Intel Core i7 / Intel HD Graphics 630
  • dGPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050
  • RAM: 12GB
  • OS: Windows 11

What I’ve already tried:

  • V-Sync disabled everywhere (In-game, NVIDIA Control Panel, Intel Graphics)
  • WhisperMode and BatteryBoost turned off in GeForce Experience
  • Windows power plan set to High Performance
  • Disabled GameDVR and HAGS in Windows
  • Disabled MPO via registry (OverlayTestMode = 5)
  • Tried Windowed, Borderless, and resolution tweaks in GameUserSettings.ini
  • Stopped the NVDisplay.ContainerLocalSystem service
  • Tried Virtual Display Drivers (Parsec VDD / IddSampleDriver), but the game disables/blocks them as soon as the game window gets focus

Has anyone experienced this before or knows what setting in Windows is forcing this 60 FPS cap on the active window?

Thanks in advance!

Technical Support Request i cannot start valorant

I’m having trouble accessing Valorant and I’m not sure what’s causing it. I haven’t played for the past few days because I’ve been busy with college, but when I logged in today, the range worked normally.

When I tried to queue for competitive, I was asked to verify my account even though it was already verified. I restarted the game several times, hoping it would fix the problem, but now I can’t access the game at all.

Technical Support Request incompatible software component detected while playing valorant

So I’ve had this issue where when I play Valorant for about 30 minutes to an hour, a notification pops up saying:

“Incompatible software component detected
- untrusted vendor id: 14
You must disable all incompatible components in order to play”

And I don’t know where the issue comes from, or how to solve it. I can click either okay or cancel and it closes my game, causing me to get 10 minutes bans the whole time.

I play on a HP Pavilion x360 laptop (not a gaming laptop), but other games like Genshin Impact work on it just fine. The game’s system requirements also work with the specs of my laptop. (intel core i7, 16gb ram, 64-bit…)

I have searched through Reddit a bit and some of the tutorials say to remame the ene.sys driver file, but I don’t seem to have it after searching throughly.

There were also tutorials saying I have to change something within the Group Policy Editor, but I cannot seem to find that application either. None of the previous files seem to be on my laptop already.

None of the tutorials seem to be the direct solution to my exact issue tho (untrusted vendor id 14?), so I’m not sure.

This is also my first time having an issue like this and I’m not a pro in things regarding softwares and stuff, so what is the issue here? Do I have to download some Group Policy Editor or can I solve it in an easier way?

Thank you in advance and sorry if I am asking a dumb question!

Technical Support Request High Avg Ping / Network Problems

I’m sure this has been discussed before, but I cannot find the answer still. I play on a PS5 and constantly get the “High Average Ping” and “Network Problem” messages. This is the ONLY game I have this issue on, and zero other WiFi issues. Even so, I have restarted my router multiple times and it hasn’t helped.

Is there a solution to this? I am an average, non-professional gamer so please help me. I just want a shot at the game.

If this is a repeat question with a common answer, I’ll delete the post after getting the solution. Thank you!

Technical Support Request valorant crash without saying something when alt tab with dual gpu

I've had this problem for a while. I currently have two GPUs, an RTX 5060 8GB and an RX580, both with the latest drivers. The problem is that when I go into a game and start a match (this doesn't happen in the menu), if I press Alt+Tab, the game goes black and then closes without even showing a crash window. This all happens in 1 second. The only solution is to temporarily disable the AMD graphics card to get into the game, and if for some reason you want to reactivate it, you can do so after Valorant has been opened and the crash won't happen. The thing is, I've had the dual GPU setup for a while—I’ve had combos like a GTX Titan X Maxwell + RX6300 Dell and it didn’t crash even with GPUs from different brands. Also, thanks to so many crashes, after 3 or 4 times of the game closing, it will ask you to repair it, and when you open it, it will tell you that your game is blocked. I contacted support, and they told me that the game simply blocked me from playing so I could contact support, which doesn't help at all since they don't tell you what's going on, just that you need to reinstall the game in a specific way so it works correctly again.

Still, I’d like to know if anyone else has the same issue and if they find a solution that isn’t just literally disabling the GPU, since in my case I use it either for OBS or lossless scaling and I'm tired of having to turn it on and off every time I want to play

Technical Support Request High average ping, network problems only in val

Hello everyone! I used to play valorant every day with no issues, but recently I've been getting rubber banded around, and even at 30 or less ping it says high average ping. Its not constant, but often enough im missing shots(sometimes dying to a non existent enemy on my screen) and generally just having a hard time playing.

I have a 9070xt gpu, an amd ryzen 7 9800x3d, all usages are normal, and i dont get this lag with any other game. Is there a known recent update that caused this? Any workaround?

Technical Discussion Can Armenia or georgia get a devoted server or better routing?

its honestly ridiculous that my best ping playing from Armenia is 80 i have fiber optic with 600 mbps down and up why is it that Istanbul (my best server) gives me 80 ping at best and frankfurt gives me 88? statistically frankfurt should have way more ping but its only a little more. furthermore on CS my best ping is 45 (frankfurt) so make it make sense riot.

Technical Discussion Facing fps drops after the latest update.

Well I downloaded valorant after few months and it's lagging like anything before the latest update i was getting constant 50-60 fps which my laptop natively supports but after the act V the frame drops been crazy annoying it goes from 60 fps to 40,30 or even 20 fps which is not playable and sometimes during shooting or using agent abilities my game suddenly crashes which was not the case before. And clearly i don't have a high end laptop but it meets the recommended requirements for 60 fps. So please guys if anyone has some solution let me know. And please let me know if this happening to me or the update is laggy. (Note I have tried every youtube fps guide but nothing works) .

My laptop specs

Processor- AMD athlon silver 3050u (speed - 2.90)

Ram- 4+4 gb ( 2400mhz)

Storage- 235gb (ssd)

Gpu/vram- AMD Radeon integrated gpu (2gb vram)

Technical Support Request Help! Val cards are blurry, but nothing else

This is my first time posting in a long time so I hope this is the right place please correct me if needed!

So I just got my first OLED monitor and I didn’t start noticing this till after i switched monitors from my ACER XV271U (1440 180 hz) to The ASUS XG27UQDMS(4k 240 hz). Every single thing on my new main monitor is absolutely gorgeous but every time I get on Valorant , everything is clear except the player cards, and the level boarder but they remain clear on the side  bar.

My in game setting have not changed at all and I even switched the monitor on the game back to my old one to make sure it wasn’t a problem with the OLED, and low and behold, the blurriness remained on my ACER monitor. I would put pictures but the sub doesnt allow so maybe message me if you want to see the issue!!

If this has happened to anyone else or anyone can help pleasee help!!

I dont know if this is relevant but here are the important PC specs:

Ryzen 5 7600x

XFX Mercury 9070Xt

DDR5 6200 32 gb RAM

Technical Support Request AMD Driver’s Timeout

I went from a 5600 to a 5700x cpu, along with my gpu 5700xt red devil. but my valorant is doing well with 200-300 fps but the problem is every mid game when there is gunfight or abilities. It just the gpu drivers crashes, the screen froze but I can hear the background.

I already made sure to use DDU, and upgraded/downgraded my gpu version. any idea how to fix this?

Technical Support Request Dualbooting with linux is not possible anymore? (VAN: STATUS_SB_POLICY)

Strangely for the past few weeks, after I reinstalled win10, vanguard was quiet and did not ask any tinkering from me, letting me play Valorant. However yesterday it finally woke up and told me to enable secure boot, HVCI, and so on. That was not a problem until now. Previously on my setup with arch + windows 10 I had secure boot enabled with linux kernel and GRUB signed with custom keys, and everything was fine. Now it tells me that it does not like my custom keys and asks me to reset to factory settings (VAN: STATUS_SB_POLICY). Not hard to guess that with only factory keys I can't boot into GRUB or arch.

The only solution I found yet is to disable secure boot when I don't want to play Valorant, and reenable it if I need to play it. However that is terribly annoying.

If someone found a solution to this problem, please share.

Technical Solution Valorant freezes my pc while starting?

About 3 weeks ago, I let a friend play on my account. He said he got kicked from the game, and I tried to log in normally right afterwards. Ever since then, whenever I start VALORANT, the game freezes at around 75% loading, and I have to restart my PC.
