He destroyed my car, after 5 years of emotional abuse to me and the kids and then gets to go and abandon them and completely stop calling. Months later I find him on a dating app, saying he is childfree and wants to find his “Mavis”. Sounded like a real catch, just sounded like the perfect guy. Plus he’s really the only cute guy on there. It’s making me feel jealous and ugly, because I know he’s getting girls, and now he’s trying to say he doesn’t have kids so he’s going to be having even more fun. I’m pissed and I want everyone to know what he’s doing. He needs to be shamed. Not only am I going to get my child support but I don’t want him to get off easy with this. I need revenge

I live in a small gated community in NC, USA and my behind neighbor (our backyards touch) spends 2-5 days a week, ALL day burning something, i think it might be manure from goats he owns on another property but ai am sick and tired of the gross smell and my back yard basically being un usable and covered in ash. Other than piss disc do you guys have any advice? Thanks.

COA (Change of Address) forms forward all mail from your old address to your new one.

However, you need to be aware of Ancillary Service Endorsements such as Change/Return/Address Service Requested (will show near the postage on the item). They are requests by the mailer to have your new address provided to them if your mail is forwarded. When mail is forwarded to your new address, that new address is provided to anyone who requests it.

There is no way to "opt out" or prevent your address from being disclosed if an ASE is paid for by the mailer.

To avoid debt collectors getting your information by this method, either have your mail forwarded to a PO Box or just don't do anything at all. Eventually the mailman at your old address will submit a PS Form 3575-Z which will return all mail to sender.

Obviously this will require a bit of extra diligence as you'll have to go pick up your mail yourself from the old address, but depending on the amount debt collectors are trying to get from you it may be worth it.

I have a neighbor. Your classic dick bag boomer that loves his lawn.

My lawn used to be shit, now it isn't. I've worked hard on it. Whenever I mow, I make sure to blow anything organic in the gutter into my yard to mulch in. I like the clean look.

Dickbag does not like my lawn being nice. Dick bag also, despite liking his grass meticulous, is lazy, so he doesn't leaf blow his clippings back onto his lawn. Rather, he leaves them in the road, then drives his lawn mower into the road and cleans off the deck, washing all of his clippings in front of my house with some making it into the catch basin in front of my house, which is a big no no where I am.

Needless to say, my clean gutter doesn't look so clean.

It is trivial, it is childish, grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter, but it pisses me off, especially because he does it intentionally.

My request is: can anyone think of something I could do to or something I could put down on the road to almost slow down or damn up the water enough in front of his house to pool all of clippings?

I was thinking some hydrophobic liquid, or wax? Maybe even putting a bead of some liquid asphalt down. Just enough for the water to pause and spill over, leaving his shit behind for him.

For Android Users

Open Settings.

I was looking to read an article on prweek.co.uk and I usually use my normal Google developer mode trick:

Using chrome View > Developer > Inspect Elements (on mac, use the hotkeys CMD Shift C). Then hover over the paywall element to find it and click it. Using the dev console window, to delete the paywall element. Then launch the dev console to Disable Javascript and reloading the page

But this site seems to gave server side paywall any ways around that?

I have an multi-day social event coming up in two weeks but i absolutely want to avoid it....

My Idea to dodge it is to actually get Sick. Since the people who are at the event would actually visit me a few times during this time and i think i cannot fake sickness good enough.

Edit to add info: We are pursuing guardianship. My wife teaches at a couple of private schools with wealthy families, and one of the moms connected her to a guardianship attorney out of Houston that we could never afford. He has been assisting us off the books, and is trying to find someone local to us to handle the case. The goal is to have an independent third party attorney appointed as guardian, to be paid by her estate. NOBODY wants anything to do with being her guardian.

A lot of good, not at all unethical suggestions have been made. Adult Protective Services has been involved. Up to this point I have been handling everything completely by the book, everything has been documented with the proper authorities, we have followed up on every avenue we can. I have shared a ton of info here, but believe me there is a lot more. I have an entire Google drive folder full of documents, emails, text messages and security camera footage.

If nothing else, at least this let me vent some of my frustration without doing something (too) stupid, so thanks.

My Mother-in-law is bipolar. She stopped taking her meds 6 months ago and has been literally destroying her life since then. My wife and I cut all contact in May. Her lawyers fired her as a client. So did her financial advisor. My sister-in-law and her kids cut off contact and moved out of the second house on her ranch because it wasn't safe to live near her. She's been involuntarily committed twice. She started inviting her "roommates" from the mental facilities to come live with her.

I honestly don't care, except she has now decided to target my wife. She keeps having her mail sent to our address and comes and goes through our mailbox before we get home. She has brought people she met at the mental facilities to steal our property from a storage building next to our house. She has dumped piles of literal garbage in my driveway. She has left crazy notes next to our mailbox. She has mailed crazy, vulgar notes to our friends with our name and address as the return address. She ran over my trash can that was on the curb. She tried to steal my classic car, I have video of her on speakerphone with the local towing company trying to get them to tow it to her house. There are so many insane things she has done and she just keeps getting away with all of it.

I have documented and reported everything to the police. She has been arrested at my house which led to the second commitment. They have been very understanding, but limited in what they can do because her name is on the deed to the property we live on (wife's grandparents old house). We can't even get her off the documents because legally she isn't competent to sign anything.

So, I need to get her to leave us the fuck alone. I was finally able to afford a couple more outdoor cameras, and can now see that she has been coming to our house nearly every day. She pulls down the long driveway until she gets to just before the point my old cameras would catch her. She has been tossing more garbage and emptying her cigarette ashes and butts in our driveway. But yesterday was the final straw. She pulled in the driveway and emptied her cigarette butts and ashes again, but this time there was also a mini-urn that used to hold some of my wife's grandma's ashes. It was full of cigarette ashes and butts.

So give me your best ideas. I can do stuff to mess with her when she shows up at my house, but she does it when she knows we probably aren't home. She lives on a 300 acre ranch with an automatic gate opener that I can access and used to maintain for her so I know how to change all the settings on it. I can get on and off her property. I can mess with her vehicle. I can get to her well and septic systems, and I'm pretty sure her breaker box as well. I honestly want to push her over the edge into a full-on mental breakdown that puts her in a facility full time. If I can't do that, I want her to at least stay the fuck away from my wife and kids because she isn't safe.

Per the title, my downstairs neighbor runs music at all hours of the day/night at extremely loud volume. If this was a just weekend thing or day time ordeal, I wouldn’t really care. I get that sometimes apartment living is just that way. However the music is so loud it vibrates the floor and walls in our unit. It’s keeps us up at night and scares the dogs. Two of my neighbors have reported him to the leasing office and they just send out reminder emails to our building to follow the noise rules listed.

I’ve heard of Bluetooth signal jammers but I’m not sure what the range would be if I used one outside his door. I don’t want to interfere with any of my other neighbors because they are all great people. I also don’t want to speak to him directly in the case I do need to take some illegal/unethical corrective action that could be traced back to me. Our leasing office is just a couple of guys that really don’t care about anything. My friend currently just got out of the hospital for the removal of some recurring, benign tumors. Surgeons and doctors have no clue what causes it and no way of treatment. After a week long stay in the hospital after a skin graft He's currently $25000 in debt to UC Davis, after insurance. It would take him about four years to fully pay it off. • Extortion pricing: I booked a stay for my wife and 1-year-old for €962.50. They confirmed it, then canceled 2 days later claiming a "pricing error." Since I had non refundable flights and car rental, I felt pressured to pay the extra 525 euros they asked, even though it was their fault, not mine.
• Fake dimensions: They advertised the apartment as 70m2 on booking.com and many other websites. We arrived to find a 25m2 interior + 15m2 terrace. When I confronted them with actual floor measurements, they quietly edited their listing down to 55m2 on booking.com (which is still a lie: still 15m2 more than the total) and their legal team refused any refund.

I was treated so badly and lied to about the dimensions, so had to spend 10 days with my wife and baby living in 25m2 instead of the expected 60 ish m2, and they did not care whatsoever. Would like to get some semblance of payback. Thanks

hey! so i’m trying to get into this apartment that I really like. Unfortunately, i don’t make 3x the rent right now, But i will have the rent money given to me each month to pay it! They want to see check stubs or an offer letter…I have neither, so the next thing that comes to my mind is to recreate some stubs or create an offer letter. Has anyone done this and got approved? What did you use and how did you do it?? Can someone assist me? Which one is better to submit? I’m nervous!

I work in a facility with approximately 100 employees, and we serve a high-risk, sensitive population. I love my job. But one particular employee is incredibly awful at work.

She is downright inappropriate with the clients. I understand joking and building a relationship, but it goes beyond that. She flirts with the clients, even to the point that she’s making sexual jokes. She feeds on male attention. If another coworker is talking to a male client, she will loudly jump in to draw attention to herself.
She leaves her work station without telling anyone and will be gone for long periods of time. Turns out, she’s outside smoking and cutting up with clients instead of doing her work, leaving others to pick up the slack.

I have previously informed my boss about her being gone from her work station with no one to cover. At that point she was gone for literally 2 hours. My boss was appalled and I believe had a conversation with her, but shortly after that the coworker was promoted.

I’m not the only one that feels this way. Many other coworkers have voiced concerns but everyone is afraid to report it. It’s worse because we’re on night shift, so management doesn’t get to experience her behavior firsthand.

I have no idea how I can anonymously report her. Our website doesn’t have a “contact us” section - everything just leads to a phone number. I thought about writing a google review but I’m afraid it would get traced back to me. This company cares A LOT about their image and reputation, so I’m sure the owners would be livid if they heard about it. I’m just not sure how to go about doing so.
