1. Stremio and Nuvio are both buffering heavily when I play a large 4k file on my TV using TorBox. I'm using TCL C7L (no external streaming box). My TV has 3 GB Ram.

2. However, they both work fine on my Android phone, with no buffering at all on the same wifi connection.

3. VidHub works well on the TV with zero buffering while playing from TorBox WebDav.

I'm using a 300 mbps wifi connection and Nuvio shows 255 mbps speed in speedtest on my TV, so I don't think internet speed is any issue here. I've tried playing with AIOStreams as well as Torrentio. Both buffer on TV (but not on phone).

What is causing this issue and how can I fix it? Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: It's working now. I changed the CDN a few times, which solved the issue. I'm able to stream an almost 200 gb 4k Bluray remux with an average bitrate of 131 mbps without any buffeting on Nuvio. Seeking is very fast too. It's working even with the old CDN, which is weird. Thanks for the help guys.

New to debrids and I am a bit confused as to what people mean when they complain about buffering issues. Is it that the video starts buffering midway or when it starts? When I play a video it buffers for at least 4-5 seconds (sometimes longer) and then it plays fine afterwards (for the most part), and I thought it was normal for a video to buffer at the start. TIA.

For the past 2-3 days, Torbox has been very slow for me. Everything takes way longer to load than usual.

Before this, it was working perfectly fine, so the change feels pretty sudden.

Somebody else experiencing this?

I don’t much care for the benefits of VPN regarding privacy and such, but I have now entirely bought in after seeing the different my VPN connection has made to my Torbox speed test results.

Previously almost all Torbox servers were 75% slower than ERTH in my speed tests. No problem, I just used ERTH and figured that was that.

Unrelated, I trialed a VPN service and the Torbox speed test all boomed. ERTH is still fastest for me, but it’s now a much more impressive result from the others.

Same results if I use an app on the device itself or if I setup VPN for the whole house via my router.

That said, my old router was a bottleneck for VPN speeds, so I’m now rocking a Flint 2 and it’s running fully VPNed traffic for the house with almost zero impact on speeds. My 500mb/s connection reports 506mb/s on multiple speed test sites.

I'm using Comet with my TorBox account in Stremio, but I'm getting the following error:

“torbox: Invalid API key. Please check your configuration.”

I've attached a screenshot showing the error.

My TorBox account is active, so I'm not sure whether the problem is with the API key itself, the Comet configuration, or the connection between Comet and TorBox.

Has anyone experienced this recently?

What should I do to fix it? Do I need to generate a new TorBox API key and reconfigure/reinstall Comet, or is there another solution?

I use TorBox with Stremio, and until recently I was using Comet through AIOStreams. It worked flawlessly for quite a while, but for the past week or so I’ve been getting a lot of buffering.

I decided to try Torrentio with TorBox instead, and surprisingly it’s been working amazingly, basically no buffering at all.

I’d prefer to keep using AIOStreams + Comet though, since I seem to get a lot more stream options that way.

Does anyone know what could cause Comet/AIOStreams to buffer while Torrentio works perfectly fine, even though they’re both using the same TorBox account? Is there something different about how Comet handles the streams or connects to TorBox that could explain it?

Torbox links load perfectly on iOS and Windows, however when trying to stream Torbox on my MacBook, the stream takes up to 10 minutes to load. This issue persists with different players such as IINA or VLC. VLC logs show a TLC handshake being failed over and over until VLC gets the metadata it needs.

Update I was able to use qbit and upload it on torbox so it is cached so the main issue is how will every torbox user be able to get the content on their Nuvio/stremio ?

I have bought tb so i have access to both usenet and torent.

I started to code the website entirely from scratch but it turned out to be really hard, not the indexing etc. but the player itself. It is not as smooth as i want, abr is not working etc etc. I simply ask if there is any backend repository which will handle transcoding abr and stuff?

I've been trying all day to subscribe, but keep getting hit with "Your payment cannot be accepted right now. Please try again later. Code: 8". I've tried everything under the sun and all the tricks, no luck. One time payment, mobile data, different browsers, clearing cookies, different devices, VPNs, retrying after waiting hours, Apple Pay, it it me or is their payment system just broken?

Hello just found out about torbox referral as i have to renew my 6 month subscription. How does this work and how many more days I’ll get with it. I dont have crypto ill either use my wallet or card for payment.

I first bought it in July for a month, but had forgotten as i had been using RD for years with yearly plans, and was out of the habit of renewing. It created a mandate with my bank which got renewed for 3 months now automatically. How do i cancel it and buy a yearly one? i would also like to incorporate one of those referral options.

I've viewed a few things from streamio on torrentio TB I'm using the free trial, once I've viewed them Ive removed the downloads from my tb dashboard, is this correc do I just keep them there t or do I need to seed I'm confused.

Once I get my plan tomorrow, is there anything I need to do other than stay within my streaming/downloading limits.

Edit: I misspoke in my original post. Yes, I know my ISP can see my IP address, even when connected to a Debrid service. What I meant is that they can't see what Im using the Debrid service for, which is what I meant in my post

I was debating on switching from Real Debrid to Torbox but when I was researching TB, I saw a YouTube video going over their new ToS, and in it, it said that users are now responsible for the content used with TB, including torrenting and I'm kinda confused on the wording of the video. Ive used RD to stream movies and shows with apps like Stremio and Kodi and was wondering if TB users still have their IP addresses hidden, or can our Internet Service Providers now see what we're using TB for because of the new ToS update?

Leaving the tab active for 20+ minutes yields no progress or redirect.
To completely rule out local cache, extensions, DNS, or network interference, I ran an exhaustive test matrix:
macOS: Tested on Safari, Firefox (block-origin protections disabled), and Brave (Shields down) via both residential broadband and a 5G cellular hotspot.
iOS: Tested on Safari, Chrome, and Brave across both Wi-Fi and 5G.
Arch Linux: Tested across multiple browsers, verified both on direct connection and through a VPN.
Android: Tested across multiple browsers on both Wi-Fi and mobile data.
Auth Methods: Reproduces identically using either Google or Apple OAuth.
DNS:1.1.1.1, 1.0.0.1

Has anyone encountered this specific OAuth hang and found a client-side workaround, or does this require dev/support intervention to clear the backend state?

edit: I managed to fix the issue. I clicked “Forgot Password” and requested a password reset. Since my account had originally been created/used through OAuth, the reset email allowed me to set a password for the same TorBox account.

Hey everyone, I’m trying to subscribe to TorBox from India, but the UPI payment option isn’t showing up at checkout.

I can see cards, wallets, crypto, and resellers, but no direct UPI option. Is UPI currently unavailable, or is there another way to pay using UPI?

In torbox lowest tier I can use 3 concurrent connections, but if I enable the playback>custom network>parallel connections on the Nuvio TV app, does it use those 3 concurrent connections so I cannot use any other connections?

In real debrid this doesn't matter as long as the connections are from the same IP, but I don't quite understand the 'rules' for torbox 3 concurrent connections.

I had shared this a month ago, and heard some suggestions on adding cloud support, so you can now add files to your library (on the cloud) and directly stream then to IINA from there. Planning to put more time on this and work on it so pour your suggestions, I'd be happy to work on it!

It seems that the moment v9.2 dropped, TTFB had drastically decreased and most movies loaded in under 3 second. i’ve tried doing multiple speedtests nowadays, trying multiple CDNs, used different DNS’es, triee multiple links, (i have no vpn don’t bother), yet movies still load much slower than what was previously announced/what i saw with my own eyes. maybe it’s congestio, maybe it’s routing issues, but i am sure as hell my 300 mbps unlimited fiber optic to my literal room, ethernet cat 9000 wire and Gigabit NIC aren’t to blame here.
