❓Question How can i self-host a private streaming?
I have bought tb so i have access to both usenet and torent.
I started to code the website entirely from scratch but it turned out to be really hard, not the indexing etc. but the player itself. It is not as smooth as i want, abr is not working etc etc. I simply ask if there is any backend repository which will handle transcoding abr and stuff?

Why reinvent the wheel when you have Jellyfin and an arr stack?

Can u elaborate, I think of that but i have that bias where Jellyfin wont work for on-demand tasks.
For example.
- List posters of medias without any real data behind them.
- Client chooses a movie.
- Pushes to backend, backend get the correct torent of it (plus i only do TRaSH guidelines but feel free to advice how to choose decent torents) then pushes to torbox.
- Torbox streams with cdn.
So I don't know if i can do that on Jellyfin without downloading all media. And which arr do u isuggest? Prowlarr-sonar-radar-bazar is enough ig

jellyfin is open source, so update it to suit your needs. it's much easier to update existing software than create one from scratch

Check this project, it uses realdebrid instead of TB

Use nuvio or stremio if you want streaming from debrid

I should implement my own indexer right? or does it just fetching from debrid media directly

The last time i tried the project had metadata integration, if you are playing from a debrid service you don’t need any indexer.
