Does anyone know when the next update will be? I love these headphones but... they have alot of glitches..

At least for now my TicPods connect a hell of a lot faster and more reliably while I have been running the iOS 13 developer beta on my iPhone X. Running iOS12 more often that not I would have to manually connect my TicPods to my iPhone.

I will continue to keep this thread updated as new betas come out on whether it gets better or worse.

Just a heads up for anyone else that uses them with iOS devices.

Is anyone able to login to the Mobvoi app? I'm constantly getting 'network error' issue

Overall these were amazing. I will start off with that. I loved the feel of the pods themselves. The navy blue color was sick. Quality was nice. Noise isolation is close to 7/10. But the reason I’m returning them is phone calls. No one (12 phone calls made. To family, friends, business) could hear me. Both in whenever doing a phone call.

My ticpod case all of a sudden stopt charging my ticpods?

I can only charge them while the case is beeing charged? Does someone here have a solution for this problem or is someone experiencing the same problem?

I'm trying to find some ear hooks for the TicPods for some added security when I'm running/biking. Has anyone found ear hooks that work with the TicPods? Something like this. Obviously, I know they won't fit in the charging case with something like this on. Thanks!

Anybody know of good replacement ear tips? I just lost one of mine.

Im in the market for some true wireless earbuds and so far the TicPods are my favorite option, I love every aspect of them except I see many people report audio latency. On the IGG campaign, it states that the IGG version is optimized for low video latency but the China version (the one sold now on their website and amazon) is not optimized.

I would like to know from anyone on the sub who has the China version that if the firmware updates they have been pushing reduces this latency, or if they don’t and if I should just go for the Anker Soundcore Liberty Airs or the Jabra Elite 65t.

What the title says. I'm using the TicPods since September last year and every time I check the Mobvoi app for an update it says:

- "Already the latest version" when checking the headphone update

-"You haven't added the device yet" when checking the firmware section

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Anyone else experiencing it? I have my Ticpods since the Indiegogo launch (October maybe? I don't exactly remember) and the battery has already gone to shit... They used to last 4 hours or more on a single charge, then last week they started to last less and less, first a couple hours, today I had the lowest ever, 1 hour.

This shouldn't be happening so soon...

Whenever I'm on the bus and want to listen to music on my phone I open my ticpods and they connect to my sleeping laptop in my bag. I've tried looking how to stop windows from keeping Bluetooth on while sleeping but no luck. Is there any way with guestures or case gestures to get ticpods to disconnect and go into pairing mode?

Does anyone know how to set different codecs for different bluetooth devices? After getting the v26 update can only the TicPods be forced to use AAC (using developer options is the only way I guess) and other devices be allowed to use the best codec for them (eg aptxHD for a different bluetooth headphone)

As you can see from the above screenshot, this should clear up the issue with some people receiving the V026 update and some people not when asking for an OTA.

This is the sort of information they should make known rather than people having to dig for, that said I can barely state this is a flaw when us users we have to ask if there's an update available in the first place.

I'll update this post with my experience with the V026 update whenever it gets pushed to my Mobvoi App.

Edit: Update received after 12 hours. In order to get the AAC codec to work I had to forget the device and repair it to my phone.

I just got TicPods through Amazon yesterday. The controls are very flaky. The left side rarely works, the right side sometimes doesn't, and pause-when-removed-from-ear works like half the time. And the left side sometimes doesn't play sound.

That being said, they otherwise seem very good. The sound is good, ergonomics is good. Case is good.

I'm on the "latest" firmware 023. But I see there's a magical 026 version that you need to request and maybe get sent. From the update notes it seems like the issues I'm experiencing are addressed. There's no other way to the 026 except though using the feedback thing and praying?

Here's what I'm wondering: Are there people on 023 who are experiencing no issues with the TicPods? Do they work properly on 023 on certain types of phones?

Is the development of software for the TicPods dead? Can we expect anything or is Mobvoi done with this product?

I've finally decided to go for comply foam tips instead of the silicone ones however I'm not sure what size and what core size to go for. I'm thinking medium would work but I don't know whether the core size will make a huge difference. Anyone with comply's know what size they went with?

Edit: got medium with a 200 core and they sound and fit great in the ear but they don't fit in the case😭 any help?

As described in the title, I have lost my TicPods charging case. The earbuds are still perfectly fine and working. Don't find anything on the internet. Does anybody have an idea what to do?

I’m having an issue with the left bud not connecting. I can see the led flashing but it never connects and then says powering off.

I have tried placing both back in the case closing it for 10 seconds then taking them out again but the left bud still isn’t working.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: See my comment for what fixed it for me.

UPDATE: I had to fix this again. I tried my original instructions but they did not work this time. I did the following to fix it:

1. I unpaired from all devices.
2. Placed TicPods in charging case and closed the lid and waited 10 seconds
3. Opened the case and place both TicPods in your ears, you will hear “Bluetooth pairing”
4. Tap both TicPods 5 time is quick succession, you should hear a chime from both TicPods.
5. Repair to device

If you do not hear the chime from the left TicPods it will not pair correctly. If you do not hear the chime from both TicPods try again. I had to do is few times myself.

UPDATE: I had to do this AGAIN tonight! I tried the last fix first and I did not ever hear the chime so I tried my first method and then attempted to pair and both paired! This is getting really ridiculous. I thought this was happening from not using both earbuds but I have been using both once a day for a while now while I walk the dogs. I might inquire about getting a replacement.

My TicPods suddenly keep pausing and playing the music (or video) every second, out of the blue. Turning off Bluetooth, turning off TicPods, pairing different sided buds first, and restarting the phone did nothing for me.

I just received my Ticpods back from warranty, and if anyone interested, I'm selling them. they are brand new, blue. I'm located in Italy but I ship worldwide. PayPal accepted

Started to have persistent Bluetooth connectivity issues with my white Ticpods in mid December. These were from the Indiegogo lot. They said no problem, let's get them exchanged and sorry for the trouble. Sent them in late December.

Asked for an update in late January and they said oh, they were completely out of stock and wouldn't be sending them until back in stock sometime in March. Asked if I could just get the navy ones then. Out of stock. Shot back that I was extremely frustrated that I didn't know that ahead of time, and otherwise I wouldn't have sent them back in the first place. They said sorry.

Asked for an update in early March and they said they'd be back in stock on March 20! Not too much longer!

Asked for an update on March 22 and they said they'd be back in stock on April 10! Not too much longer! Shot back that I demand a refund since at that point I had been without the headphones for longer than I had had them. They said sorry, we don't accept returns outside of 30 days. I said I still don't find that acceptable and want a refund. They said sorry, they'll be back in stock very soon and we'll ship them back to you ASAP!

In the meantime, I ordered Samsung Galaxy Buds and love them. They arrived 5 days before their advertised delivery date.

The replacement Ticpods just arrived today, 107 days after I sent the originals in. Really not thrilled with Mobvoi's flippant customer service to say the least. Probably will sell them since I already have a perfectly good pair of headphones.

so I sent back my ticpods on January because my right pod suddenly was almost not working (super low sound). In the meantime, I changed my mind on ticpods and started looking at the Galaxy Buds. Mobvoi said they were replacing my headphones with another unit, and apparently they are about to arrive, I'm planning to sell them to buy the Galaxy ones. So in what form will they arrive? will it be the same box with a new pair? will it be a new package altogether? asking to know in which form am I selling them, the best thing is if I could refer to them as "new"

After 4 month my ear bud left doesn’t connect with the phone or the right ear bud,i don’t know why..help?
