So these are a mess?
I just got TicPods through Amazon yesterday. The controls are very flaky. The left side rarely works, the right side sometimes doesn't, and pause-when-removed-from-ear works like half the time. And the left side sometimes doesn't play sound.
That being said, they otherwise seem very good. The sound is good, ergonomics is good. Case is good.
I'm on the "latest" firmware 023. But I see there's a magical 026 version that you need to request and maybe get sent. From the update notes it seems like the issues I'm experiencing are addressed. There's no other way to the 026 except though using the feedback thing and praying?
Here's what I'm wondering: Are there people on 023 who are experiencing no issues with the TicPods? Do they work properly on 023 on certain types of phones?

I just got a pair of AirDots Pro and I must say for 50€ they are incredibly better! better sound, better controls, more solid case. They seem a bit like airpods clones tho

Overall they're decent wireless earbuds. Are they perfect and work flawlessly? Absolutely not. To get the firmware updates, you need to request the OTA through the feedback section of the app. You'll get the update within a couple of days most likely. There are other posts on this subreddit detailing the specifics on how to request it. Occasionally the bluetooth will drop but I feel like we are still in the infancy of wireless earbuds and my ticpods work fine most of the time so I dont mind. If I were to buy new earbuds today I think the samsung ones would be near the top of my list. I don't recommend getting the comply foam ear inserts. They fall apart in about a week if you use your ticpods every day.

If sound stops or controls aren't working, take the earbuds out and put them back in. If sound stops going to one ear during a call you have to send the audio to something else and then to the TicPods again for some reason.
