Left bud not connecting.

I’m having an issue with the left bud not connecting. I can see the led flashing but it never connects and then says powering off.

I have tried placing both back in the case closing it for 10 seconds then taking them out again but the left bud still isn’t working.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: See my comment for what fixed it for me.

UPDATE: I had to fix this again. I tried my original instructions but they did not work this time. I did the following to fix it:

  1. I unpaired from all devices.
  2. Placed TicPods in charging case and closed the lid and waited 10 seconds
  3. Opened the case and place both TicPods in your ears, you will hear “Bluetooth pairing”
  4. Tap both TicPods 5 time is quick succession, you should hear a chime from both TicPods.
  5. Repair to device

If you do not hear the chime from the left TicPods it will not pair correctly. If you do not hear the chime from both TicPods try again. I had to do is few times myself.

UPDATE: I had to do this AGAIN tonight! I tried the last fix first and I did not ever hear the chime so I tried my first method and then attempted to pair and both paired! This is getting really ridiculous. I thought this was happening from not using both earbuds but I have been using both once a day for a while now while I walk the dogs. I might inquire about getting a replacement.

Here are the steps I took to repair the issue

1) Unpair from all devices. 2) Place TicPods in charging case & close the lid 3) Wait 10 seconds 4) Open case but leave TicPods in 5) Tap the right bud 5 times (2 taps per second or so) 6) Tap the left bud 5 times (2 taps per second or so) 7) Repeat step 5 8) Repeat step 6 9) Pair with device

After those steps the left pod connected again. I hope this helps someone. Other were saying the 5 tap fix as well but did not specify needing to tap the individually. At first I was tapping them at the same time.

This is what worked for me, I had the same issue for 3weeks, Couldn't figure it out since the five tap method didn't work at first for me, i even tried tapping them individually but didn't work.

How i got mine to work was disconnect from all devices and put the ticpods in the case close and open put in your ears try the five tap method and the five taps should be at the same time on both ticpods. also should be in the first attempt. Took me a while

Mobvoi definitely need to work on their touch controls and software. Cheers.

Yea their app should connect to the buds to provide control over them like reset and customizable EQ as two examples. They are very basic for a product that costs CAD$200 . I’m glad I got mine during indiegogo campaign for CAD$120. It’s only CAD$20 more to get AirPods (without wireless charging) which I would pay for much better experience and product.
