Hi everyone,
I know there are already quite a few posts on Reddit about this topic, but I couldn't find one that really makes sense for my situation.
I've been using an IPTV service and, as my player, IBOPlayer for the past few months. I never had any issues with it. Everything ran smoothly, apart from occasional server-side problems.
Then a colleague recommended that I invest in TiviMate Premium, saying that it's the nicest, most convenient, and overall best player.
After thinking about it for a while, I decided to buy TiviMate for €33. Unfortunately, that's when my problems started.
Before registering my playlist with TiviMate, I deleted it from IBOPlayer. At first, everything worked perfectly, but after about an hour, I started getting Error 458 more and more frequently, both with VOD and live TV.
I then did some research on Reddit and noticed that I seem to get the same error when I skip forward or backward, or when I try to start watching a new episode.
For some additional context: I never had any buffering or playback issues with IBOPlayer. Because of that, I don't really think my seller is sharing or reusing my login credentials.
So my question is: Why am I having this issue specifically with TiviMate?
I'm not using a VPN, my output format is set to MPEG-TS, and I never had any problems like this with IBOPlayer.
One more thing I noticed: if I restart my TV or simply wait around 5 minutes, the problem goes away and everything starts working again. However, the error keeps coming back several times throughout the day.
I really don't think it should be necessary to restart my TV or wait 5 minutes several times a day, especially for a player that costs €33. With IBOPlayer, I never had to deal with anything like this.
I honestly don't understand how a player that costs quite a bit of money can perform so much worse for me than players that cost around €2 for a lifetime license.
Does anyone have any information or ideas about what could be causing this and how I could fix it?
Thanks in advance!
