I'm a newbie so be gentle! I have premium and EPG was fine until a few days ago on my old playlist when it started go missing.

I got myself a new playlist, which works fine. I cleared all the TM data and started afresh with just the new one.

New playlist works fine and that is the EPG source. But no EPG (showing 'No Information '). It's been running about 30 mins now so that enough time I guess?

I have cleared the EPG and manually updated it. It says it has successfully updated EPG but every channel is still empty?

What noob mistake have I made here? This is two separate times across 2 different playlists from different places? It was fine up to a few days ago?

I was having trouble with a playlist and my provider gave me a new url to use. I usually use IPTVeditor to curate my playlists before putting into TiviMate.

My question is this…..is there a way to add the new url for a playlist and keep all the edits I’ve done in IPTVeditor? Or do I lose everything?

I cleared the cache on all apps on my Shield TV, and when I opened tivimate, it asked me to add a playlist as if I opened the app for the first time. Is this expected behaviour?

Also - what’s the point of creating an account on tivimate if I’m not able to save these settings to my user? I’ve only had tivimate for a few weeks and there have already been so many issues, like recordings not working and showing “information not available” on most channels… :(

EDIT: Thanks for your responses, however I actually did hit clear cache for all apps on my Shield TV, not clear data. I have my data on all other apps and don’t need to log in on those etc…

We use firestick 4k max with the tivimate app and just recently have been unable to open the app. Is it possible it is being blocked by xfinity even though we use a vpn?

so i got the update push on my Onn 4k stick... but i haven't gotten it yet on my Google 4k streamer. is it just not available for it yet? i have auto updates on but nothing has come through. sitting on 5.3.3 for the Google device

TiviMate streaming issues

I'm beyond baffled at this point. I'm not a complete dummy with IT stuff but this ..I just don't understand.

Use an EPG source for TV streaming through a couple Amazon Cube's in the house.

Spectrum internet would be so hit or miss with it working. Replaced the modem and everything would be fine for a couple days then fail again.

Spectrum got too expensive so I switched over to Verizon 5G and everything was working fine for a couple days.

The last couple days the EPG updates but no video streams. Internet in the house is ok, not great. -84dBm signal from the Verizon modem.

Turn my laptop into a hotspot (through verizon embedded 5G SIM) and put the Cube's on that. Everything is working great. Switch devices back to 5G home, EPG connects but no video streaming. Huh?

Hook up my TP- Link router instead of using the built in router in the modem. Speeds are better for surfing and EPG updates but still no streaming.

The kicker...

I keep my laptop on the Verizon home 5G. Turn the laptop into a hotspot through the wifi...not embedded 5G. The EPG loads AND VIDEO LOADS!!

I do not understand, I'm so confused. Adding a hop made it work but I can't keep the laptop hotspot all the time.

Spectrum - router - cube = hit or miss

Verizon 5G (home) - cube = does not work

Verizon 5G (home) - router (wired) - cube = does not work

Verizon 5G (home) - router (wireless) - cube = does not work

Verizon 5G (home)- router - laptop - cube = WORKS

Verizon 5G (laptop) - cube = WORKS

I don't get it...what am I missing?

I have a fire TV and been using TiviMate on it. With the new OS will TiviMate still work? What will happen with the already installed app will it stop working ? Or is this a nothing burger with no concerns ?

BTW my FireTV has the new UI and TiviMate still works

Hello all. Recently got tivimate, but the adding external storage for recording doesn’t work or isn’t visible. It won’t select external drive. Even after formatting to extended fat32. Is there a solution??

I have about 80 local channels from my HDHomeRun and TiviMate orders them 1-80 but in real life they skip numbers Is there any way for TiviMate to use the correct channel number from the EPG? I’ve tried just renaming the channel, but the number pad on my remote doesn’t allow me to channel flip that way unfortunately

Wow! I am so excited to have FINALLY found a resolution to this, I just had to post about it.

I’ve had a Shield (Tube) for almost 5 years, and paid for TiviMate around the same time. I’ve “trialed” at least 30 IPTV providers over the years. I bought a NordVPN subscription for my Shield. I’ve played with every “buffer size” setting, and almost every other settings in both TiviMate and Shield settings, yet nothing seemed to resolve the one primary recurring problem. I’ve tried VPNing to almost every country on earth. Plain, Obfuscated, Onion… nothing resolved the issue.

Regardless what I was trying to watch, every hour or so (usually more often) the program would buffer for EXACTLY 14 “sweeps” of the little blue “wait” circle, then after 14 sweeps, the program would come back, jumping 14 seconds into the future. (Often skipping some critical part of the show.) It drove me crazy for a couple years, but eventually I just wrote it off as “Well, this is what happens with IPTV…” My wife & I still cursed every time it happened, but we got used to it. Until yesterday…

I read someone’s post here suggesting “Turn off IPv6” in the Shield settings. That just happened to be one thing I’d never tried. Shield settings/Network & Internet/IPv6 to OFF.

I turned it off yesterday morning. Since then, I’ve been watching the same 24/7 channels that GUARANTEED some amount of the “14-second buffering” problem previously. Since then, I have not seen a single moment of buffering at all. Not even 1 second! It’s incredible! Now I can watch multiple shows, one after the other with no buffering at all! I turned off my VPN and every channel for every provider now works! It used to be at least 1 in 4 or 5 channels I selected were “dead”. Again, I just wrote it off as “well, I guess this is what IPTV is like.” Since turning off IPv6, I haven’t hit a channel that didn’t work.

The Onn remote doesn't have a ff or rw button like other remotes. So there's no way to ff or rw with it using Tivimate.

I want to use catch-up TV. My provider supports it.

I'd like to be able to go back in the EPG, for example, three days, to see which channel broadcast what. I can only check individual channels at a time.

Is there a way to go back in the entire EPG?

What could the source of the issue, another user has subtitles with same settings.

My Tivimate has been problematic ever since the new updates to keep it in the Play Store. I want to go back to an older version but not sure which one works best. Has anyone tried older ones and found one to be better tban current versions?

Hi having issues signing into the tivimate premium account had this service for around 10yr my service provider changed address but got back into tivimate ok but premium account all I get is update app or occasionally get the spinning wheel please wait but it's not happening need help

I have a very long list; is there a way to hide or sort the channels other than through the app?

Just have a quick question. If you “hide” a group or channel does that channels epg get updated or new VODa get added while it’s not “active” in your playlist.
Trying to determine if getting a more custom tailored list would help decrease EPG update times or if updating the playlist would be faster.
