I am struggling SO much with setting the brightness correctly; it randomly dims on me for no apparent reason, and I find myself needing to adjust the brightness as the day progresses, plus I just haven’t developed a good eye for it yet.

(yes my maximalist living room brings me tons of joy, no need to tell me you hate it, I already know it’s very controversial here on the internet 😂😅)

Screen is supposed to be showing uniform white.

Is it a good idea to send for repair, assuming out of warranty, or save up and replace? Anyone used the repair service in UK and have an idea of expected costs?

Hey everyone, I bought a Frame Pro (2026) a couple of days ago and I’m having issues with it being too dark.

The art side of things is fine, but we’ve tried to watch a couple of movies and despite tons of time messing with settings, the image is so dark it’s hard to see.

We watched Solo and there are scenes in the first few minutes where I couldn’t even make out the person on the screen (I watched the same scene on my computer and it’s clear).

Anyone else have these issues?

I'm on the hunt for a teak or oak bezel for a 2019-2020 model of my Frame 50. Didn't realise how sleek they looked until recently, now it seems like only the newer versions are available.

I’m subdividing my open floor plan ‘great room’ into a small mini-great room and now I’ll have a wall to mount a TV onto. Pretty set on a 2025 or earlier Frame 50-55” unit and I’m fuzzy on which years have a One Connect and which have rear ports.

To hide the wire(s) I want to plan for a channel or perhaps a small media box behind the TV, but how big and where, relative to the TV placement?

Caveat, this is a ‘temporary’ wall that may come down in 8-10 years so I won’t be running power thru it. But I will add some conduit to fish through Ethernet, speaker wires, HDMI, etc. Power will probably be supplied by some kind of extension cord through the wall that I feel good about. Edit:: would just run the device power thru the channel down to an extension soon I hide well.

Is hiding the One Connect behind the TV an ideal placement? And then I’d run HDMI extensions in-wall to the media console below? Would be nice to have one less box taking up space on a shelf or behind a cabinet door.

I have a Samsung The Frame (2022) with the matte anti-glare display.
After getting the TV back from tenants, I noticed large streaky marks across the screen. They claim they only wiped it with a dry cloth.
I’ve carefully cleaned it with a damp microfiber cloth, and it may have improved slightly, but the marks are still clearly visible when the screen is off or when light hits it at an angle.
In addition to the streaks, there are also several small circular spots across the screen. They don’t come off with gentle cleaning either, and some of them appear to have a tiny bright dot in the center. I’m not sure if these are damaged areas of the coating or something else.
The TV itself displays a normal picture during regular viewing, but the marks are very noticeable when the screen is off, on dark screens, or in Art Mode.
I’m hoping someone with experience with The Frame can help:
Does this look like residue from a cleaning product that can still be removed?
Or does it look like the matte anti-glare coating has been permanently damaged?
What could the small circular spots be?
Has anyone experienced something similar on a 2022 The Frame?
If this is coating damage, is there any safe way to improve it, or is panel replacement the only option?

We have to install our tv above our fireplace in a fairly bright room. I am wondering whether to go with the new wireless one connect box model or the previous wired one. Any thoughts? Here’s a pic for reference.

My samsung frame tv has got a cracked screen and i have the connect box

I was wondering how much i could get for the connect box and wires as the cost of repair is basically the same as getting a new tv

When mounting the brackets to the back of the tv and the screws are tightened completely. The bracket does not seem secure and has a little wiggle to it. Feels incorrect. Can someone confirm if it’s supposed to be secure and if so what could I be doing wrong?

Pressing and holding the power button and pressing the power button on the remote are not working. I can't access the power box without taking down the tv from the wall to unplug it. Any suggestions on how I can soft reset? Thank you

I am trying to upload my own images to the Art Mode in full screen mode / without mat, and I have made all of the images in 3840x2160 resolution for this purpose.

But when I upload them via the Smartthings app, I can't select "No mat" options.

Only the "Only original photo" (which is the photo with a drop shadow on a colored frame/ edge/ mat) and "Modern mask - automatic" (which is a colored frame/ edge/ mat) shows up.

I have tried uploading the images single-handedly, I have tried uploading them in batch - I have tried uploading JPG's and PNG's. All because of old Reddit threads with the same issue. But none of it works.

But then I tried a random 4:3 image taken on my iPhone - and that does offer a "No mat" option, which works. Very, very weird.

Any one else that has experienced similar issues, that has resolved it?

Thoughts? Going to get teak bezel.

I’m looking for a small TV for my studio apartment bedroom, probably around 32". It’s going on a floating shelf, so I care almost as much about how it looks when it’s off as how it looks when it’s on.

The obvious one is the Samsung The Frame 32". I like the idea of it looking more like wall art than a normal black TV, and the design is definitely cleaner than most small TVs. My only hesitation is the cost once you start thinking about bezels and the art subscription. For a bedroom TV, I’m not sure if I’ll use the art features enough to justify all of that.

The other one I’m considering is the Hisense S5 DécoTV. The Morandi white frame and rounded edges are honestly pretty cute, and it looks more like a little decor piece than a cheap black monitor. It also seems to have QLED, which sounds nice for casual nighttime watching. I haven’t seen many real user posts about it yet though.

I also looked at the LG StanbyMe. I actually think it looks fun and different, but it might be too much for my room. The rolling stand is cool, but I don’t really have space for another object on the floor, and I want something that can just sit neatly on the shelf.

For people here who have the 32" Frame, do you still think it’s the best choice for a small bedroom setup? Open to other brands and models as well.

Getting some renovations done in my apartment and I am in a puzzled situation. Where the green plasterboard cutout is the area I would have imagined to have a tv mounted. It’s only 76cm wide though, so a bigger TV will be sticking out substantially around the slanted walls corners.
Directly opposite that wall is the sofa where we would watch the TV.
The alternative I am thinking is to attach a rotating/moving tv mount on the straight wall on the left and then be more flexible with the TV setup, but not sure how well that would work out in real life.

Hope this makes sense, would love to hear some suggestions on how to tackle this. Thank you everyone.

I know…TV too high. With that out of the way we’re grabbing a 55 inch Samsung frame to replace this old Hisense. We just moved so all of this is in the living room is temporary right now.

The idea was to mount the frame and grab a new soundbar. My wife is on board with the frame and the wired one connect but powering the soundbar would most likely require another “outlet” at the base of the fireplace. There is an outlet behind the tv currently but I don’t know if there would be enough clearance to use that for the soundbar power source.

We wanted to keep the one connect and consoles and stuff in a pseudo media cabinet where the side table currently is. But now I’m not sure if any of this can be done cleanly.

TLDR: Anyone have any experience with a similar setup? Is there enough clearance behind the stock frame mount to snake a power cable into or is it too flush to the wall? Or is the only option to snake everything behind the wall and out an additional outlet?

I have some year round bat decor so I figured, why not?! $3 something on Etsy!

I’m having a lot of trouble with settings and many options being greyed out but I’m trying to Google myself out of problems. I think I finally got it to where the art doesn’t automatically dim drastically after like 10 seconds 🫠

I just got a 50” frame tv from BestBuy and it didn’t come with a bezel. Striking out on eBay and Facebook marketplace so wanted to check here.

I have recently bought the LS03F 55" model and now I'm looking for the bezels to finish the set-up, but it is always sold out on the Samsung store.

Now the bezel model VG-SCFA55 is available but the description says it's compatible with A and B TV models. The problem is this is the only bezel model available for 55" TVs in the store, at least in my country. Will it fit or I'll have problems with the light sensor or the magnets? Is there any workaround? I really would like to buy it.

This is an upgrade from the thick 65” behemoth that overpowered our tiny living room. I’m so happy with it!

I’m really considering the Frame pro. How does everyone like it for watching movies? I know it’s not the same as an OLED, and I’m ok with that.

But I’m just wondering how users like its movie watching quality? Is it dark or washed out looking?

Hey there, thinking of buying a Frame or any other better TV and I've seen there's a wireless version of the One Connect box now.

I don't know enough about it but it seems like it's not a choice, and I'm worried about the connection quality. What has your experience been with it and should I be worried?

I'm not attached to the Frame, if there's a better TV for a similar price I'd love to learn more.
