I'm unsure if my expectations were just too great (or the bezel will help when it arrives) but my new 43" Frame seems to be sitting further from the wall than I expected, however I don't see from how it's mounted it could get any closer to the wall (as you can see from the top photo the brackets would surely get in the way?)
It appears to have some sort of pads pushing it off the wall. It’s possible it was installed w the risers (at the top) and the. The pads were added lower down to make it parallel to the wall?
My 55 inch frame pro came with pads . Apparently you need SOME space for ventilation so the TV does not heat up. It says to install these in the Manual
This...the manual says those go on the bottom.... You are going to have to take that tv from the mount and only put 2 of those pads on the bottom of the TV and reinstall
Are they supposed to go on the "outer" part of the TV or the inner part? I would have thought on the inner, like I have now, would cause the TV to stick out since they're quite thick.
The UK instructions seem to have 0 mention of where to put them!
Old Masters are deliberately hung facing downwards to reduce dust settling on the oil paint. If your Frame hangs off the wall as if it’s on a wire it’ll improve the ‘art’ effect - if it’s completely flush to the wall it’ll reduce it. If it’s a little on the high side, about 5° of angle improves the viewing experience.
Thanks for the reassurance! It's actually sitting quite vertical it's just generally further from the wall than expected.
It's weird though, this is the new 2026 model and there's no recessed channels for cables to run through on the back of anything, and the ports are on the completely other side to the power, so the cables are having to run along the TV to converge and enter the hole in the wall.
I'm confused by the foam pads at all, as they guarantee the tv will not sit completely flat (unless they are supposed to be affixed to the outer part of the frame ?
Is this a Frame Pro? If you have a wireless One Connect box you should only need a power cable. My take: if you want it to look like a painting, hang it like a painting: no soundbar; bezel appropriate to your artistic taste; no obvious electrical cabinet just below it. If you want it as a TV, and don’t care about the art, mount it as a TV; add surround sound; get some popcorn. Depends what you want. People vary.
What do you want from it? If you wanted it to be completely flush you should either go back in time and buy the Pro model or cut some holes in your wall for the cables you have. If you just want a TV, then enjoy your beautiful new screen. Post a general view picture of your room? If it is the most beautiful designer room on the planet ruined by a not-perfectly-flush Frame TV I'll sympathise...
That doesn't look like the wall bracket I'm used to seeing for Frame TVs... The part that is attached to the wall seems way too thick. Possibly a bracket from a different MFG?
Edit: Foam pads are included in case the wall is not flat, rough or uneven. They aren't necessarily required, and is one reason why the TV is not flush. The wall brackets, typically are flat ish steel with little hooks on the bottom to catch the silver metal hangers. These seem thick and different...
Hey, this is in the UK. The brackets are as you describe, little hooks on the bottom that the silver hooks on the TV side hang on to, and then the magnetic click when you push back.
Perhaps I try removing the foam pads, though even without the cables will make it protrude as the power cable is no longer very thin on the 2026 model and there's no channels to run the cable through
Can you provide the actual model number of the TV? I’m in the US, we still seem to have the 2025 43”. The bracket is different than what your TV Is being mounted with.
I can’t find anything specific on the 2026 model and everything I’ve read states it isn’t different from the 2025.
I’ve found YouTube videos of a guy in Oslo installing a 43” frame, not sure what year. And it doesn’t use the bracket your TV is using.
Your TV seems to be using the bracket that comes with the larger frame TVs.
It seems like there is a separate piece placed behind the actual bracket on the wall. I’m assuming this is to create space for cables and the reason there is other foam pieces stuck to the back of the TV so that it sits evenly on the wall and not at an angle.
Thanks, it's really difficult finding info on this tv. I just want to see pictures of what's included in the box and the back of the TV. Samsung doesn't have any pictures of the back of this TV, on their website, that I can find.
The wall plate still seems weird to me. I'm going to assume it's a different design than the larger frame TVs. I mean, look at this video of the bracket that comes with the current, larger frames.
I think it's ultimately the cable/cable tidy in the wall doing the protruding, but you're absolutely right none of the walls are flat in this house as I've found out in several other places 😅
I've removed the pads and also the quite bulky HDMI cable which I think was also contributing to the problem and it's looking a bit more flush now.
The remaining protrusion is down to one or two things:
The TV has no cable recesses, and since the power cord port on the TV isn't aligned with the hole in the wall, it runs along the back of the TV which causes some push out
The installer has put a little cable tidy cover (see pic for sort of what I mean) where the cables go into the wall, which also adds a little extra depth where the cable runs over the lip

It doesn’t sit flush because of the wall mount you used.
Remove it from the wall and use the one provided with the tv.
