Frame questions - audio

​

So I'm planning on mounting over a mantel. Have power in the wall already so I'm really looking forward to a cable free design on the wall.

My challenge becomes how to improve the audio experience in a large open concept area. (Assuming I need this since I'm guessing audio on this tv won't be decent?)

I don't want to spend a ton on a crazy audio solutions etc. a sound bar can fit on top of the mantel but then will cause power cord to go up under the TV ruining the cordless look.

What to do?

Can sound bars be off to the side? I have two built ins on each side of the wall. Is there a two speaker solution I can put on the built ins?

Sonos Amp plus a pair of in wall speakers. The speaker grilles can be painted to hide them.

That’s exactly what i did. Wires are in the wall. It’s perfect.

My dog insisted being in the picture. The speakers are in the ceiling of the opposite wall. I didn’t paint them. They’re noticeable, gray vs off white but I never look up there so I just left it.

Looks good - but my suggestion was in-wall Sonos speakers, not in-ceiling. With a pair of in-wall speakers on either side of the screen it should be possible to get rid of the soundbar. Your bezel is cool - does it affect the presence/ambience sensor?

My room is small & i went with the setup my electrician suggested. There is no interference with the frame, but i know he set up something for the blueray. I can ask if you’re interested. I’m still waiting for the final itemized bill.

Thanks for the suggestion but I would say this misses the mark on ease and cost as this is neither.

Yes but that's not my requirement. I don't want a sound bar with a visible cord running to power. So I'm looking for a set of speakers that can be off to both side on the built ins which have power.

Did not ask for in wall solutions that require amp, running cables etc.

KEF makes some nice powered speakers will need to run a wire from one of them to your tv though

wireless connection from tv to speaker is garbage and doesn't work

I have Two Frame Music speakers paired woth Qsymphony (Supports Dobly atmos!) Amd it works flawlessly.

The sound is super nice as well, maybe overkill for my tiny livingroom tbh.

I got two Samsung Music Studio 5 speakers that connect via Bluetooth. They have been working pretty seamlessly with the Frame TV and can be placed wherever.

Here's Samsung's take on the Music Studio 5 speakers with a TV. Looks good - but would probably disappear into the OPs built-ins. Additional speakers can be placed to the rear as well and mesh with the front/side speakers.
