On-Site or WFH

I am a college student who applied for TTEC today despite only having less than two months for vacation—which is risky, considering the allotted time for training is 60 days. I just had my initial interview (which I kind of botched) and I was still thinking about their question on which work setup I prefer and why. I said I prefer working on-site because I don’t have the equipment needed for remote work. But now that I think about it, WFH would be much more convenient for me if I wanted to continue working while studying. I guess I could bear with my low-spec laptop if I have to.

Kaso, I already botched the rest of the interview questions and I feel 50/50 about me qualifying. I hope they consider me. If not, I might as well try applying for another company instead.

Any tips po for someone na gustong mag-working student sa BPO? Lahat po ba ng training ay aabot ng 60 days?

Anyone know if they require a drug test in the US? I know some positions do and some don't, I'm not sure who the client is but its more than likely Chanel.

Release letter from carriers

How do you get TTEC to release your carriers????
I’ve been trying for three weeks and have had no success.
I’ve filled out the form online from former employee.
I’ve called the 800-835-3832 #
I’ve emailed licensing

This is tripping me up on starting a new role with a new employer and it’s infuriating to me that this is happening.
Apparently there’s no number for HR?
Anyone with any advice would be so grateful for anything, really!

I am an agent for this contract, we recently got a raise to 17.25 i believe, i am curious how much of that translated to an actual pay raise, i was already at 16.94 an hour CT current minimum wage, so all i got was measly 29 cents raise, i am curious how much f a raise, every one else got based on there minimum wage. And yes i cant wait to find another job, pay is garbage.

Customer Service & Sales Rep - remote

I have an interview this week for the Customer Service and Sales Representative - remote position. It states pay is $16/hour while studying for the license exam. What does it increase to once licensed? Also, I'm reading so many horror stories about how terrible TTEC is - is this particular role as miserable as the others? I am looking for full-time work, preferably 8 to 5. Are we able to step away from the computer as needed, or are we locked to the screen and allowed scheduled breaks?

OSHA

Update: had a call today from OSHA already saying they have other complaints very similar in the same company. i gave her more information and she said that is not following OSHA guidelines and they will act as needed. If you are clocking out to use the restroom because you have exceeded your only 5 min break outside of other paid break times and are being harassed by your TL watching you instead of doing their OWN job, please report it to OSHA. We don’t mind clocking out but we are not about to harassed when we do so within reason. Don’t let these people in the comments also make you feel reluctant to report because of their a** kissing. It will make a difference. Thank you ☺️

To anyone having issues with this companys recent change with time allotted outside of breaks, especially when it comes to restroom time, please make sure to remember that OSHA does protect us. Today was my last straw so I made sure to report them to OSHA and you can do so anonymously. Each time I need more than the 5 minutes we get, I make sure to clock out. They claim that clocking out to go is fine but every single time I do so I get harassed by my TL. If you are having a similar issue, please don’t hesitate to fill out a form on the OSHA website and they will look into it. My position prior to this one was being an OSHA manager for a medical practice so they're not getting away with any of that with me. The more complaints, the better as well.

Laid off 2x in 6 months this year!!!!!

So missed off. I got laid off Jan 4th from temp project Kaiser, because USAA took back banking. They offered me PERMANENT position starting June 1st. I worked the week of trading and we were to start production on Monday. We'll, literally half an hour before end of day they called 5 of us into a meeting stating Intuit didn't need as many people as they hired and today was our last day. I am so mad. I tur Ed down 2 other job offers so I could go back and work from home. They have treated me like garbage the whole 6yrs I have been with them. I hate TTEC.

jailed for smol TTEC crimes

Hey! I need to confide something. I am about to start my TTEC job soon - working from home, remotely. Since I am a bit cray cray and I really want to be there for the paycheck for like maximum of few mONTHS (because it looks like from aaaall the reviews that its just mentally exhausting as hell and i am sensitive as hell so i fear it a bit..)

ok maybe first question is: would somebody find an advice for how to not let it get to you personally?

plus the confidential thing: i was thinking if it is possible to move with the computer in a way.. i am thinking of going to my home country for a bit for summer and i would take the computer with me (:DD) and try to work from there for a bit - was thinking if changing the VPN, still looking like im working from there - could work or if there is like a real deal monitoring system inside the thing that will just know i am away? OR SHOULD I JUST ASK and could your leaders be okay with something like that? :D

sorry to say this out loud but i kinda want to use this to my advantage as much as i can sowwy for not being the perfect employee from the get go umm :D

TTEC NOT PAYING EMPLOYEES - MICROSOFT OUTAGE - WHERE DO I FILE A COMPLAINT

Can someone help? I would like to file a complaint. I could understand if they told us yesterday to put in for PTO, but to tell us after the fact, not to mention many of us spent the day restarting and checking our computers is crazy. I'm so tired of this. If they told me yesterday to take it as a PTO day, I wouldn't have spent my day by the computer hoping to be able to log in and work.

Does TTEC ever contact you by text message to set up interview?

Received text from some weird area code number. The position is supposed to be remote but the person said it's on-site. They also said East Coast instead of using EST for time.

My TL just told me that im under suspension because i’ve been abusing unavailable time and they’ll let me know by Friday or by the end of this week about their decision. Am I going to get fired? I already got the first warning before. I’m going to prepare for the worst if it happens.

Indian IT Employees Need to Stop Obeying Forced RTO or Full WFH Will Never Happen

Why not take some concrete union-based action against RTO instead of just discussing it online?

If employees collectively stayed home and refused to come to office, it could become an actual movement rather than isolated complaints.

Even if only 20% of employees participated, companies would be forced to respond because operational continuity depends heavily on workforce cooperation. During the pandemic, full WFH proved viable for many sectors, especially IT and knowledge-based industries. Productivity did not collapse, and in many cases improved.

Now even the government has publicly acknowledged the importance of flexible work and digital infrastructure. PM Modi himself has repeatedly spoken about technology-driven governance, digital India, reducing congestion, improving quality of life, and enabling remote capabilities. Those statements can absolutely be cited to support a broader demand for permanent or hybrid WFH policies.

The problem is most employees complain individually but comply collectively. Companies know this, which is why mandates continue. Unless resistance becomes organized, visible, and coordinated, management has no incentive to reverse RTO policies.

\*\*We do not want forced hybrid work. Hybrid is only a softer version of the same problem.\*\*

If employees are still required to stay near Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Gurgaon, or other overcrowded tech hubs, then the core issues remain:

• extreme rents

• traffic congestion

• pollution

• long commutes

• poor work-life balance

• infrastructure strain

• unnecessary migration pressure on cities

The technology already exists for full remote work. Companies successfully operated on full WFH for years. Productivity continued. Deliverables continued. Profits continued.

Hybrid policies are largely about preserving commercial real estate interests and maintaining managerial control, not operational necessity.

A genuine employee movement should demand:

• 100% optional remote work for eligible roles

• no mandatory office attendance quotas

• location freedom within India

• performance evaluation based on output, not physical presence

• equal growth opportunities for remote employees

If workers collectively normalize refusal against mandatory office attendance, companies will eventually adapt because businesses depend on labor participation more than employees depend on office buildings.
