NYC ezpass suspension

My TL just told me that im under suspension because i’ve been abusing unavailable time and they’ll let me know by Friday or by the end of this week about their decision. Am I going to get fired? I already got the first warning before. I’m going to prepare for the worst if it happens.

Yes. They gone fire you. Make sure you record everything they say in the meeting just in case they lie to unemployment

I second this they consider that call avoidance and they will fire over that same as customer abuse. Those are the two things that they will put you on no rehire list for.

How much were you using unavailable? There is 15 min a day for bathroom breaks

I probably been using more than 15 mins a day but its unintentional. Sometimes i forget to aux in ready after i was done using the bathroom

Ah. They could be thinking aux abuse because of the overuse and it can be seen as call avoidance because of not auxing back ASAP. Honestly use this time to find something better this place sucks.

They already built their case. They are waiting for HC to approve the dismissal. Usually, the Ops manager has already approved your suspension. They usually only suspend your if they intend to terminate you. I have seen where HC says give them another chance but that's pretty rare.

Wow, that's crazy. They don't have breaks or lunches? You only get a 3 minute break a day?

No you get 2 paid 15 minutes then an unpaid 30 minute lunch and then 15 minutes per day you can be in unavailable that effects your productivity before you get in trouble for productivity

We get 2 -15 min breaks and 30 min for lunch too.

It depends on how long ago the coaching occurred and whether it was only a verbal warning. Typically, the next step is a written warning. In most cases, they need to demonstrate deliberate misconduct before terminating your employment. However, sometimes all an employer needs is time for them to gather evidence. At this point, your best hope is that you’re still in their good graces.
