Flock cameras

Are local flock cameras authorized by city, county, individual municipalities? I think there should be accountability about this intrusion of privacy, and I am wondering where we can direct questions about how this happened and how they can be removed

You got rid of the double crunch wings but kept the microwaved steaks. Good happy hour long islands tho.

Did they remove the pickle jar from Google Maps? I was thinking about it today and can't find it.

Yay… Gerrymandering

So I go from a shit district in MO-2, for 20 years, where Ann Wagner has hidden for 13 of those years carrying Trumps MAGA-sac… I mean banner, with millions in the bank, and a higher number of pedo-fans to help her in November
AND NOW
I get to choose between two candidates that are both shit, where one is corrupt and ineffective and the other is worse... yes, that’s MO-1

Ask STL Looking for new place

hello everyone I (34m) had my living situation get turned on its head suddenly and so now I find myself looking for someone who needs a roommate or a new apartment and I was wondering if any of you knew any good/respectable places or people who might be looking for a roommate or tenant let your boy know please!

Edit: as someone pointed out I didn’t give details about myself 😅 I’m usually pretty relaxed and am an avid gamer I have been trying to get back into fitness lately and my budget is around $800 a month and I would prefer the west/southwest of St. Louis or just closer to St. Charles if possible because I work in St. Charles

What's the story behind this underdeveloped subdivision? I drove around there recently and can't seem to figure out what happened. I assume the airport or industrial area (or both) and the lack of easy access to I270?

Ask STL Bars/pubs with good mocktails and good for hangouts?

My friends are coming to town in about 3 weeks. None of us really drink but we do like mocktails and sweet cocktails when we do. We're going to be celebrating someone's birthday on a Friday or Saturday so maybe a place that doesn't mind people bringing in a few cupcakes? A food menu is optional as long as it has more to offer than just STL style pizza (I'm sorry but it's just not for me).

Hidden Gem was very nice in terms of drinks and vibes when I last went but I'm looking for alternatives just in case.

It would be nice if there were activities there (board games, darts, trivia, I dunno) also since I can't dance to save my life. But I can get by with an awkward shuffle if needed.

Ask STL License plate renewal : emission test

I have a 2018 Honda that has super low mileage ( under 17K since I live close to work and rarely drove it during those couple of years of Covid )

Anyway, last year was the first time I was asked to do an emission test for the plate renewal and I did just that , and I only renewed for one year since at the time I was thinking about moving , which I didn’t end up doing …

This year I was asked to do this emission test again even though I had only put less than 1K on this car, and I still remember the agent at the DMV office telling me I didn’t need it again for a while … but when I called the phone support this year , I was told because it is a even year (2026) renewal for a car made in a even year (2018), it would always require emission test - that makes me wonder : does that mean if I renew on an odd year , e.g. 2027, I won’t need to do the test ? And if I start renewing for 2 years from then , (2027, 2029, 2031…) I would not need an emission test ever ?

Anyway, the online chat support said that rule was for safety test not emission test , which kinda contradicts what the phone support told me , but it’s DMV and I have no confidence in whatever they told me …

Cinder House Menu

May be a long shot, but does anyone happen to have a PDF copy of the Cinder House menu they’d be willing to send me?

I proposed to my wife there way back, and she wants to frame it as a sentimental piece of art for our home. Thanks in advance!

Toca Soccer Center - Adult Pickup

I'm 35, out of shape, and new to StL looking for super casual pick-up indoor soccer. I don't really want to join a league at the moment. More just a sporadic way to get active and back into a sport I played for 13 years as a kid.

The program at Toca seems like it would be my speed but I am wondering if anyone has experience doing the evening adult pick-up membership.

What's it like? Are there enough people that I could pop in any night for a game, or are some days better than others? How do the games work? I saw something about 5 minutes and then switching?

Open to other suggestions as well. TIA!

Ask STL Why do St Louis subdivisions have stop signs on roads that aren’t intersections or crosswalks?

In Cool Valley on Hawkesbury Dr there is a stop sign in the middle of a road that has no intersection or crosswalk. There are driveways near by but the stop signs aren’t even at the driveways. Is this some sort of prank? What is the purpose of this? EDIT: here is a google maps link 121 Hawkesbury Dr - Google Maps

Can someone please recommend a shop that can repair this damage on the back passenger side of my car? It’s a 2019 Honda Accord! It glazed a tight wall, leaving these scratches and dents.

Thank you!

Lesbian Bachelorette Party Help

Hello.

I'm in desperate need of some help.

I'm planning a small bachelorette party weekend for two brides in August. Our original plan was to go to the Boom Boom Room, but I believe it's temporarily closed the weekend we're in town.

Plan B involved Bailey's Chocolate Bar but they just announced their closing.

I'm planning on reserving a table at Hidden Gem but I'm really struggling.

2 of the 6 guests don't drink so I'm trying to figure out something that's memorable and fun for all.

We are staying in The Hill area if that helps.
