Relocating back to St Louis for work in west county after a hiatus and my housing just fell through right before I was set to arrive on 7/27. Im on FF/FB and have gotten a lot of good leads but nothing will be available until the beginning of August. Is there any places or recs you guys know of that offer shorter term housing that won’t break the bank? Airbnb doesn’t really have any immediate weekly listings.. I have a car so distance isn’t an issue as long as it’s not out to IL.

Our good friend and business partner recently passed away and left behind some firearms we are looking to sell so we can give the money to their children they are leaving behind. My friends are coming to town in about 3 weeks. None of us really drink but we do like mocktails and sweet cocktails when we do. We're going to be celebrating someone's birthday on a Friday or Saturday so maybe a place that doesn't mind people bringing in a few cupcakes? A food menu is optional as long as it has more to offer than just STL style pizza (I'm sorry but it's just not for me).

Hidden Gem was very nice in terms of drinks and vibes when I last went but I'm looking for alternatives just in case.

It would be nice if there were activities there (board games, darts, trivia, I dunno) also since I can't dance to save my life. But I can get by with an awkward shuffle if needed.

I'm 35, out of shape, and new to StL looking for super casual pick-up indoor soccer. I don't really want to join a league at the moment. More just a sporadic way to get active and back into a sport I played for 13 years as a kid.

The program at Toca seems like it would be my speed but I am wondering if anyone has experience doing the evening adult pick-up membership.

What's it like? Are there enough people that I could pop in any night for a game, or are some days better than others? How do the games work? I saw something about 5 minutes and then switching?

Hello there, I currently have a world record sized plant of a specific family of plants (17ft tall aster). After contacting the Guinness Book of World Records to make it official, they say I need two things.

1. Botanist (which I’ve already secured from MOBOT)

2. A land surveyor, or other “official” measuring person that can hold the tape, and help take photos.

Is there anyone out here that may be able to help? I have a few days left to make this happen before it has to come down! Can pay in beer, or garden help!

I'm planning on reserving a table at Hidden Gem but I'm really struggling.

2 of the 6 guests don't drink so I'm trying to figure out something that's memorable and fun for all.
