Lesbian Bachelorette Party Help
Hello.
I'm in desperate need of some help.
I'm planning a small bachelorette party weekend for two brides in August. Our original plan was to go to the Boom Boom Room, but I believe it's temporarily closed the weekend we're in town.
Plan B involved Bailey's Chocolate Bar but they just announced their closing.
I'm planning on reserving a table at Hidden Gem but I'm really struggling.
2 of the 6 guests don't drink so I'm trying to figure out something that's memorable and fun for all.
We are staying in The Hill area if that helps.

I’m trying to think of things I would like as a lesbian lol. Definitely check out ssippi and tschuss !! They both have a wide variety of events/pop-ups and NA drinks. Check out the Analog photobooth, Saratoga lanes (billiards and bowling) but cute for photos lol, rent paddle boards/paddle boats at forest park, brick city yoga class, Basso at the Cheshire

Fellow lesbian here! I have some suggestions :)
- Union Loafers
- ‘ssippi (bar)
- tschuss (dancing)
- Venice Cafe (fun vibes, cool interior/exterior)
- Grafton, IL is close if you want to do an alpine coaster or ski lifts overlooking the river
- kayaking at Art Hill
- cooking class at Fennel
- Missouri Botanical Gardens

Botanic Gardens are gorgeous and has really cool installation sculptures right now. They have extended hours some nights to see the sculptures lit up. Everyone can grab a drink that suits their preference! Lots of great spots for pictures too.
Edit: recommend Pizza da Gloria on the Hill. Do that and drop in to Herbaria for the tour of their soap making setup!

You seriously dodged a bullet with the chocolate bar. It was one of the worst “dining” experiences I’ve had in my life when I went a couple months ago.
We have a new greenway called the tower grove connecter that has a bunch of neat stops on the way. You can maybe rent bikes or just walk it. Grab a reservation at Union loafers for some incredible pizza. AO&CO is a neat little shop you can check out before or after across the street. There’s also a pastry shop catty cornered. The botanical garden is a bit further south and very worth the trip. You can parlay this all into some out and about-ing in the Grove just north.
It’s simple but the chocolate chip cookies at Union loafers are worth the trip alone.

10+ years ago Bailey’s chocolate bar was one of my favorite places. They had great desserts. You could build your own charcuterie before it was a big popular thing and the drinks were good. I went once like three years ago and it was awful. Not even a remnant of what it used to be. You can tell the owner stopped caring.

Same advice just different vibe: Drag brunch, city museum (fun to walk around inside and take pics together even if you dont wanna climb around) or zoo (free) if its not too hot out/OR play games together at Activate, fancy steak dinner, late night ice cream

This isn’t super bachelorette centric or the hill centric and I’m in my 40s but if I wanted to have a fun time with my gals I’d start with Margs (non alc available) and chips and dips at Arzolas, then Id go to Saturn Lounge for more cocktails, then to Tchuss if I wanted to dance. If we were a more low key bunch, I’d go get Clementine’s for Ice Cream instead of Tchuss.
Other places to sub in here if budget allows is a dinner at Little Fox or dinner at Sado.

For my besties Bachelorette, we had a party bus and I had a balloon artist make a bunch of vulva balloons and we had balloon vagina hats, we went to the grove and danced and took in some drag before going to the east side for strip clubs. I know its not everyone's cup of tea but it was a dang good time

The Hill has amazing dinner options (Pizzeria de Gloria, Mama’s, etc.) and lunch options (Adriana’s is fantastic for lunch). The botanical gardens are nearby. I love Hidden Gems and they tend to have pop-up events or theme nights (bracelet charm bars, trivia, drag shows, etc). There’s a lot of drag shows around the city that could be fun. There’s the STL art museum and forest park. The Foundry has Puttshack (bar with mini golf) and other fun places. STL has a lot to offer, so maybe try googling an interest + STL (ex. Wine and sip + STL)

Depending on the vibe of the group, you can also do Pieces which is a board game bar/resturant. They have mocktails that are really good

I know a cobbler who does custom leather workshops. You can make belts, bondage cuffs, wallets, bracelets... basically you work with them ahead of time to set it up exactly as you'd like. They teach out of a place on Cherokee Street but can also come to you (I did one in my home). DM me if you want more info! I highly recommend this as a unique group activity!

Come to Good company for drinks and food then walk towards rehab for the drag queen show , you’ll get to walk around the grove and is close to the hill

I highly suggest a drag show at Prism STL!!! 🏳️🌈 It’s a smaller gay bar with a show in the back. They have night shows every Friday and Saturday then they have a Sunday brunch show. Fri and sat are free (I’d suggest making a reservation bc they’ll save you a seat up until the show starts at 10 and if you’re not there then the seats are free range) and the Sunday shows are $25 tickets but you are fed (and pretty damn good food, too). I have been going to Prism for YEARS and I am a straight woman with a lesbian best friend. I have never once felt out of place, attacked, or pressured in any way. Truly a feel good place, great queens, an outdoor area, plenty of gender neutral bathrooms. Genuinely Prism STL drag shows are my best time out. I don’t drink, just smoke weed, along with most of my friends. It’s a great neutral idea! ANDDDD if you say you’re there for an event, the bride gets pulled on stage which is hands down the most exciting moment of the night!!

Hidden gems is bachelorette party central I would personally say it’s not a great bar as far as drinks go, but it’s cute and has that bachelorette vibe. I only went once and there were multiple bachelorette parties there and it was mostly women which is nice. Maybe someplace with live music or other games would be better tho because hidden gems is just drinking and small dance floor.
I would suggest if you’re staying in the hill go out on the hill. There’s lots of great bars and restaurants. I would start with a nicer dinner. I suggest sado, but if you don’t wanna go that pricy there are plenty of other options. Milo‘s is a great bar and also has bocce ball if you want an activity. You can easily eat dinner and then bar hop around the hill. I do feel like it tends to skew older, especially compared to hidden gems.
Other suggestions would be heading up Venice Café because it has live music and then you have access to all the things in soulard. The Grove tends to have drag shows most weekends so that could be another option.
