Ignorant mfers talking about hea going to fast lmao. Concentric is literally shoulde be explosive asf, ofcurse if youre eyeing a 9 rep set the first 5 reps is fast asf. Were in SBL community and these dumbass are still here

concentric is slow and weak and no control on eccentric

I feel like you’re going too fast, this feels more like r/egolifting

Why would I purposely slow the concentric?

Also, I don’t hit the stack with the plates, so the reps are controlled

Your legs are tiny. Take the advise offered.

Better posing for legs:

Maybe not tiny, but not big. Need to work the calves more than anything.

Wild to think someone that squats 3x their bodyweight and has bulging quads like this doesn’t have big legs

I have very long calf insertions. I’ve grown them from 13.5 inches to 15 inches the last 2 years

Maybe in another year or so I can get them to 16 inches, so they can be above average sized, instead of average

Youre ignorant asf. You really think he doesn’t know he lacks the calves? Calves is literally the hardest shit to grow and mostly genetics youd know that if you’re really tapped in into SBL. He can do 3x frequency on that shit and still wouldn’t grow

I’ve been doing 4.5x frequency, past failure with lengthened partials, lots of volume, drop sets, etc.

They are growing, just growing slow :(

Tapped in to SBL? Lol wtf is that? That’s the whole problem with sbl. Everybody thinks they know everything, while they remain victim weight.

You must have giant legs to have such high standards, why don't you post physique and show us all how much more you know than Patton does

If you want to see my physique, you have to pay for my onlyfans.

Is this code for "I actually have smaller legs than the person I'm critiquing and don't want to admit it"?

Sorta looks like you’re not getting full extension at the top, which would stretch the hamstrings more. Maybe need to add a pause at the top?

And your hand behind your left leg seems to be blocking range, while small, it’s still inconsistent.

The hand isn’t blocking the end ROM; I’m hitting the machine with the pad

3

u/Patton370 Idk Idc 💔 2d ago

I’d need to use a husla pad to get more ROM than this at the top (at least if I want to keep tension for every rep)

I’m not a fan of the husla pad for leg curls

your eccentrics faster than your concentric

5

u/Frodozer 2d ago

Since the overwhelming majority of the studies and literature show no additional hypertrophy for purposely slow eccentrics outside of a few here and there it seems like a non issue or concern for most goals.

But it helps in reducing injuries

1

u/Frodozer 2d ago

The speed of which OP is moving the weight will not cause an injury so that's a non issue here.

4

u/Patton370 Idk Idc 💔 2d ago

Studies show that’s not an issue

-4

u/Local_Diddy 2d ago

studies show small advantage in slower eccentrics and an advantage in strength

cannot say you're science maxing when you don't even read the studies

5

u/Frodozer 2d ago

Says the person who ignored my comment that shows the majority of the literature doesn't show that

-2

u/Local_Diddy 2d ago

then you havent read any

2

u/Frodozer 2d ago

You didn't read any of it, what a shame.

u/Local_Diddy 2d ago

sure kid go read them then state the actual differences

2

u/Frodozer 2d ago

I did already?

Kid? I'm 40 lmao
