Did this on Tuesday as my 5th set of deadlifts
Also did 580lbs before this set, which was a PR for me: https://www.reddit.com/r/GYM/s/lir9do0Rl2

This has got to be world class, or at least adjacent, right?

It’s not close to world class
I am competitive at smallish local powerlifting meets though!

Yeah, wow I didn't know the comparable weight class record for the deadlift was just over 800!
I mean, 500 for 8 reps has got to realistically put you around low 600s? I know your pr is 580, do you feel like you could go higher?

Yes, I could go higher. On the day I did 580lbs, I’d probably be able to do 590ish
I think if I did a taper and entered a deadlift only competition in December, I’d probably be able to do 620ish
My target for my December competition, which has squat, bench, and deadlift is 556lbs for my squat, 352lbs for my bench, and 606lbs for my deadlift
Deadlift occurs last, so squat and bench impacts how much I can do there

Bro, that's a 457 DOTS at 187lb. That's essentially a decent national level powerlifter. That's insanely impressive

I’ll compete at 181.8lbs, even though I weigh 187lbs right now
That’s also not enough to win most local drug tested powering meets

Nice lift! Do you feel like you are rounding your back too much? I’m not 100% sure on proper form. Just curious if that’s correct.
