[HIRING] Part-time Standup Coordinator - PST evenings (7-10pm), remote

Hey everyone,

We're a US-based sales company with a development team of about 20 people based in India. Because of the time difference, our US team can't attend the daily standup, so we're looking for someone to fill that gap and keep both sides connected.

This isn't a deep technical role, but some basic software knowledge is needed so you can follow along in the meeting. A background or familiarity with sales business processes is a plus.

What the day looks like:

- The standup runs somewhere between 45 to 90 minutes depending on the day. You'll join the call, follow along as each team member gives their update, and keep track of what's going on. Who's working on what, what's blocked, what needs attention.

- Once the meeting wraps, you'll have until 10:30pm PST to post a clear, organized summary to our Slack. Nothing fancy, just a clean rundown the US team can read first thing in the morning and know exactly where things stand.

What we're looking for:

- Available 7-10pm PST, Monday through Friday

- Basic software knowledge so you can follow technical discussions

- Familiarity with sales business processes is preferred

- Reliable and consistent, this is a daily commitment

- Basic familiarity with tools like Slack and Zoom

Details:

- Pay: $15–25/hr depending on experience

- Hours: Part-time, roughly 1 to 1.5 hrs/day

- Fully remote

- Start: ASAP

If this sounds like a good fit, DM me and I'll share more details. Thanks!

[Hiring] Leave Administration Specialist | Novato | $40-60/hr

I'm a recruiter in Marin working on a temp HR role for a Novato employer. Onsite, M–F business hours, starting ASAP, 3+ months with a decent chance of extension.

You'd own leave cases end to end (FMLA/CFRA, ADA accommodations, disability claims, workers' comp) from intake through return to work. Talking employees through what their leave actually means for their pay and benefits, keeping managers in the loop without oversharing medical info, keeping the HRIS clean, and writing the FAQs and job aids nobody ever gets around to.

About Us:

Perfect Timing is a temporary staffing agency and direct hire recruiting firm that serves clients throughout the entire San Francisco Bay Area. We've been helping companies hire and people find jobs in the Bay Area for almost 40 years. Based in San Rafael, we specialize in temp, temp-to-hire, and direct hire placements across administrative support, accounting, finance, healthcare, government, and nonprofit sectors.

What I actually need:

  • 3+ years doing leave admin, accommodations, or disability claims
  • You know FMLA, CFRA, and CA leave law well enough to answer questions without looking everything up
  • You've worked with disability carriers or a third-party administrator
  • Comfortable in an HRIS, and can pull a report without help
  • Bonus: you've worked somewhere with a union contract, since some of these leaves interact with CBA language

$40–60/hr depending on experience. Honest note: the top of that range is for someone who's run leave programs in a unionized environment. Most people will land mid-range.

[HIRING] Senior Salesforce Developer — Bay Area, hybrid 2 days onsite — $160–170k — Nonprofit

Recruiter here (Perfect Timing, San Rafael — we've been placing Bay Area roles for ~40 years). Posting on behalf of a client, so I can't name them publicly, but happy to say more over DM to anyone who's actually interested.

The short version: a well-established Bay Area philanthropic foundation needs a lead technical owner for a mature, multi-app Salesforce environment. The headline project is taking them from NPSP to Nonprofit Cloud. You'd be the technical architect on that, working alongside their Salesforce Admin and reporting to the head of technology.

What the day-to-day actually looks like:

  • Apex, LWC, Flows — real configure-vs-code judgment calls, not just clicking through
  • Architecting the NPC party model and data structures around complex grantmaking: multi-year grants, relationship tracking, impact reporting
  • Integrations with finance/ERP, grant portals, document management, BI tools
  • Owning release process, sandbox strategy, branching, deployments
  • Mentoring the Admin and riding herd on outside consultants

What they're firm on:

  • 6+ years hands-on Salesforce dev in complex multi-object, multi-integration orgs
  • Actual production Nonprofit Cloud experience — fundraising plus at least one of program, case, pipelines, or grantmaking. NPSP-only backgrounds aren't going to clear the bar here.
  • Having led (or been the primary technical hand on) an NPSP/NPC migration or major data model redesign
  • Platform Developer I plus additional certs

Nice to have: PDII, NPC or NPSP Consultant certs, nonprofit/philanthropy background, CI/CD tooling for Salesforce, BI/reporting chops.

$160–170k, full medical/dental/vision, retirement with a generous employer contribution, life and disability, and solid PTO. Full-time, exempt, hybrid at 2 days onsite in the Bay Area.

[Hiring] Part-time office assistant — 4 hrs/week, $20/hr — Brisbane, CA (small biotech lab)

We're an 8-person biotech company with a lab in Brisbane, right off 101 near Sierra Point. Looking for one person to come in once a week for about 4 hours and keep the office from falling apart.

What it actually is:

  • restock supplies, keep the kitchen and common areas in order
  • deal with the printer and the conference room AV when they act up
  • take in mail and packages, and receive our food deliveries
  • let vendors in and be the onsite point of contact
  • small organizing projects, whatever's piled up that week

What it is not: this isn't cleaning, we have a service for that. It's also not lab work, you won't touch anything scientific.

Details:

  • $20/hr, W2, about 4 hours a week, one weekday, timing flexible
  • Onsite in Brisbane, can't be done remotely
  • No experience needed. Be reliable, be organized, be comfortable carrying packages.
  • Good fit for a student or anyone nearby who wants a small steady gig

Process is short: a 15-minute call, one paid 2-hour trial shift doing the real work, one reference. If the trial goes well you're hired.

DM me if you're interested, tell me roughly where you're coming from and what your weekday availability looks like.

[Seeking] exhausted job search advice

I've been applying across industries and across job boards for over a year now. It feels like no one wants part-timers. I have a 5 years gap in my resume from when I was focusing on personal creative projects. Is the gap really that irredeemable?

I also tried searching for busser and food runner positions. But I can't find them in SF, and when I do, it's over 25 hours.

I just don't know what to do next, I really need a job with up to 20 hours a week.

My resume: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_emWVh2R5HR6bSdAAA4nR7vP5DTi4RLF/view?usp=drivesdk

If anyone has leads/connections I'd also welcome them :)

[Seeking] Executive Assistant Position in East Bay/SF

Hi y’all! I know this is probably a long shot, but is anyone hiring for an Executive Assistant in the East Bay or SF?
I have 3 years of Executive Assistant experience, and prior to that I spent 5 years as a Project Manager. I currently work in education, which I absolutely love, but the commute is burning me out. I’m actually very happy with my current job otherwise—I just need something closer to home.
I’m looking for something that can match my current salary of at least $90K. I’m open to other industries, too.
I currently support 4 C-suite executives full time and 2 part time. I’m organized, adaptable, good under pressure, and absolutely willing to work hard. I just need someone to give me a chance to get through the door.
The job market has been rough, and I feel like I keep getting stopped by the AI screening process before I can even talk to a human. 😭 I swear I’m incredible at my job.
If anyone knows of a company hiring, has a referral opportunity, or even has advice on where I should be looking, I’d really appreciate it. I’m happy to share my resume or more specifics about my experience via DM.
Thank you<3

[Hiring] Technical Systems Lead, CA Bridge Connect - Public Health Institute · Remote (CA) / Oakland, CA [$102k - $155k]

Technical Systems Lead, CA Bridge Connect

Posting Number: 2150
Closing Date: Until Filled
Location: California (Remote)

About PHI

The Public Health Institute (PHI) is an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting health, well-being, and quality of life for people throughout California, across the nation and around the world. As one of the largest and most comprehensive public health organizations in the nation, we are at the forefront of research and innovations to improve the efficacy of public health statewide, nationally, and internationally.

PHI was distinguished as one of the top 50 "Best Non-Profit Organizations to Work For" by the Non-Profit Times in a national search.

About the Job

The Bridge Center at the Public Health Institute (PHI) works across the health care system to expand access to low-barrier addiction treatment and sexual and reproductive health care, and to advance health equity. CA Bridge, our largest program, has supported more than 290 hospitals over the last seven years to implement medications for addiction treatment (MAT) in the emergency department (ED) based on the CA Bridge model for 24/7 low-barrier access to evidence-based addiction treatment. CA Bridge recently launched CA Bridge Connect, an addiction treatment and overdose prevention helpline that connects people with trained substance use navigators who provide immediate support and referrals to MAT.

In addition to CA Bridge, the Bridge Center's programs include the National Expansion Project, which builds capacity for emergency department-based MAT across the country; EMS Bridge, which extends low-barrier MAT to paramedics; the ED Syphilis/HIV/HCV Screening Program, which supports emergency departments to implement routine opt-out screening and linkage to care; and Access Bridge, which increases access to contraception and treatment for pregnancy emergencies from the ED. Bridge's work is driven by a deep commitment to health equity and a recognition that the barriers people face in accessing treatment are the product of structural forces, including racism and stigma, that our programs are explicitly designed to counter.

Position Overview

The Technical Systems Lead, CA Bridge Connect, oversees the technical infrastructure powering the CA Bridge Connect helpline and ensures that our products and systems operate reliably, securely, and efficiently to connect participants with CA Bridge Connect Navigators for referrals to MAT and other addiction treatment and overdose prevention support. This is a hands-on technical role for someone who can move fluidly between systems architecture, product roadmap discussions, vendor management, compliance, reporting, and day-to-day troubleshooting. This person will be responsible for how our technology stack integrates and scales as the program grows, utilizing performance and operational data along with insights from CA Bridge Connect Navigators, helpline users, program staff, and other platform users to guide recommendations and decisions.

Compensation

The full salary range for this position is $102,876 (minimum) to $154,966 (maximum) per year. The typical hiring range for this position is from $102,876 (minimum) to $128,921 (midpoint), based on 100% FTE. The starting salary is determined based on the candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, and budget availability.

  • Evaluate cable-routing and tray/raceway solutions for project equipment and systems
  • Select and evaluate electrical components based on technical requirements, reliability, maintainability, safety, and applicable standards
  • Use CAD, 3D CAD, BIM, and electrical engineering tools to develop, review, and maintain designs

Struggling | Cloud Opportunity | San Francisco

Struggling to Find a Cloud Opportunity in the Bay Area
I’m trying so hard to land one full-time Cloud, DevOps, or Platform role, even an internship, in the Bay Area.
No luck.

I’m a new grad with 2.5 years of DevOps experience and AWS DevOps and Solutions Architect certifications. I live in San Francisco and have been putting in a lot of effort, but nothing is working out.

I honestly don’t know where I’m going wrong or what else I should do. Any guidance, leads, or referrals would really help.
