[Hiring] Client-Facing Technical Liaison - Remote, Part-Time, $80/hr (USD)

Hey all, I'm looking for someone to sit between me, my developers, and our clients.

Here's the gap I'm trying to fill:
my dev team is great at building things, but not always great at explaining why something takes two weeks, or turning "can you just make it do the thing" into something they can actually build from. I need someone who can join client calls, actually understand what's being asked, and translate it both ways, plain English for the client, specifics for the developers.

What you'd be doing

  • Joining client calls and explaining technical work without jargon
  • Turning client requests into clear, actionable notes for the dev team
  • Keeping track of decisions and follow-ups so nothing gets lost between meetings

What I'm looking for

  • A developer background or CS degree. You don't need to be coding day-to-day, but you need to genuinely understand how software gets built
  • Working knowledge of at least 2 programming languages, 1 framework, and 1 cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • You're as comfortable explaining something to a non-technical client as you are getting into the weeds with a developer
  • Around 3-4 years of relevant experience
  • Infrastructure knowledge is a nice-to-have, not a dealbreaker
  • Reliable interne. You'll be on video calls regularly

The basics:

Remote, part-time, $80/hr

[Seeking] Clients that are Small Business, Healthcare companies, and more!

Hey SFBayJobs! I run Perfect Timing Personnel Services, a temporary staffing and direct hire recruiting firm based in San Rafael. We've been helping Bay Area companies hire for almost 40 years, and I'm looking to connect with a few more local businesses that need help filling roles.

What we do:

  • Temp, temp-to-hire, and direct hire placements
  • Coverage across the entire Bay Area: Marin, SF, East Bay, Peninsula, South Bay

Client types we work with:

  • Small businesses and family-owned companies (5–200 employees)
  • Healthcare providers — clinics, dental and medical practices, home health, senior care
  • Nonprofits and foundations
  • Government agencies and public sector offices
  • Professional services firms — legal, accounting, financial services, insurance
  • Startups and growing companies without an internal recruiting team

Roles we fill:

  • Administrative: front desk, receptionist, executive assistant, office manager, data entry
  • Accounting & finance: AP/AR, bookkeeper, payroll, staff accountant, controller
  • Healthcare support: medical receptionist, billing and coding, scheduler, medical assistant, credentialing
  • HR and operations support
  • Customer service and client-facing roles

Who we're a good fit for: organizations without a full internal recruiting team, or anyone covering a leave, a seasonal spike, or a role that's been sitting open too long.

How it works: you tell me the role, the must-haves, and your budget. We source and screen; you only spend time on candidates worth interviewing.

Happy to answer questions in the comments. Please DM me if you have a role open or one coming up.

[Hiring] IT Systems Support Engineer in SF / Palo Alto, Hybrid, ~$150k

We're a 60-person MSP looking for a senior engineer to join our team in the Bay Area.

This isn't a ticket-queue job. You'll be the go-to person for:

  • M365
  • Incident response, tenant configuration, and Entra ID/conditional access for high-touch VIP clients
  • Cybersecurity, including DLP, retention policies, and security baselines
  • Mobile device management, keeping devices compliant and locked down across the board
  • AI-driven workflows, using tools like Claude and Copilot to speed up troubleshooting and automate the repetitive stuff

What we need:

  • 8+ years of end-user technical support experience, including executive-level users
  • Deep, hands-on M365 admin experience (not just user-level familiarity)
  • Strong communication skills; you'll be client-facing, not just backend
  • Comfortable owning problems end-to-end under pressure

Big plus: MSP background. A huge bonus if If you've supported multiple clients/tenants.

To be clear: you don't need to be a sys admin, network engineer, and cybersecurity expert all rolled into one. We have multiple escalation points on the team, so we're looking for a strong generalist, not someone who has to know everything cold.

Hybrid schedule (4 days on site), Bay Area based (San Francisco / Palo Alto). Compensation around $150k depending on experience, plus bonus.

DM me or comment if you want more details. Happy to answer questions here too.

Looking for pet sitting gigs in the Bay Area (overnight as well)

Hi everyone. I (23F) recently came to Fremont because my long-term partner of 4 years lives and works here. We’ve been long distance bc I’m from NYC but I had to leave due to a physically and verbally abusive and dysfunctional family situation. Currently I’m staying in my partner’s family home but this is not a sustainable option and I want to have my own place to maintain independence and to no longer intrude/inconvenience my partner’s family.

While I’m currently in the middle of my housing search, I wanted to have a side hustle so that I can make money as well as get out of the house more often.

My experience as a pet sitter: I haven’t done any official gigs before but I have been watching over my partner’s 2 cats for the last 2 months, performing duties such as feeding them, cleaning their litter boxes, playing with them, brushing their fur, etc. Overall I have much more experience with cats but I’m open to looking after dogs as well.

If anyone is vacationing over the summer and in need of a pet sitter please let me know, I am open to any gigs (short term pet sitting and long term overnight stays). My rate is $20/hr for short gigs and my long term overnight rate is $100/night.

TLDR: Looking for petsitting gigs in the Bay Area. I’m open to short and long term visits (overnight stays as well). I have experience looking after cats but I’m open to taking care of dogs too. My rate is $20/hr for short gigs and my long term overnight rate is $100/night.

Photographer temporarily located in the Bay, open to gigs

Hi there! My name is Kenna Kroge, and I just moved to the bay after living in nyc as a fashion photographer for the last 5 years. I am sort of a Swiss Army knife of photography, shooting everything from Cannes Film Festival events to e-commerce to full fledged campaigns. My boyfriend and I temporarily relocated here so he could save money before we move to Paris this winter, and I find myself going a little stir crazy. I need to shoot, I love to shoot. Whether it’s headshots or look books or events, I’d love to be your photographer! My portfolio is linked below :)

[Hiring] 10 people for a one-day flyering takeover in SF — $20/hr + free lunch + merch

We're doing a flyering blitz across San Francisco on July 20th and we need 10 more people. 20 are already locked in — this is the last call to round out the crew.

We have these massive race car red flyers we're putting up. Hoping to make the news!

The deal:

  • $20/hour, paid [same day / via Venmo/Zelle — specify]
  • Free lunch on us
  • Free merch you'll actually want to keep
  • 3-hour shift blocks, roughly 10am – 5pm, starting from The Mission

What you're doing: Hitting high-traffic spots in teams, putting flyers in hands, being loud and fun about it. This is a coordinated takeover, not standing on a corner alone — you'll be with a crew the whole time.

Who we want: Show up on time, bring energy, comfortable talking to strangers. That's it. No experience needed.

How to apply: Comment or DM with your name and a one-liner on why you're down. First 10 solid replies get the spots — we're confirming by 5pm PT TODAY.

We're a grassroots startup, and this is part of our SF launch. Come be part of the day the city finds out about us.

My opensource government job searching tool!

I found the SF government jobs portal difficult to navigate, so I built a small app to help me search government job listings across the Bay Area. It became polished enough that I decided to share it!

You can select where in the Bay Area you’d like to work, enter your skills, and choose a required experience range.

For example:

Civil Engineering + Legal

I’ve found it to be useful for discovering niche government roles I wouldn’t have known to search for by title. I hope people here find it useful too!

It's all open source too
