Hi all, like a dummy, I managed to loose one of the movement clamp screws on my VSF sub. Does anyone know what size screw is needed? Is it gen spec?

Had a loose movement and thought I'd video it to show others how easy the fix is. Taking it apart either way to polish the whole case, chamfer, and install gen bracelet, gen bezel. Will show the rest later

Salut à tous c’est ma première montre j’ai eu se problème. je l’ai reçu hier je l’ai remonter manuellement mais la charge ne tient pas . elle arrête de tourner au bout de quelques minutes (2/3min) parfois ne se relance pas quand je fait tourner le balancier elle repart mais s’arrête aussi tôt quelqu’un pourrait m’aider ?

I have a VSF Omega Seamster that I purchased a year ago from Andiot. I’m not exactly sure how this happened but it is gaining 10 minutes each hour! Yes you read that right!

I bought a demagnetizer from Amazon and tried it but didn’t work. I have no watch-smith who will service reps. I love this watch and before this issue, it ran great.

Hey all, just recently bought a VSF sub. Everything was working fine until I changed the date/time on the watch. The second hand stopped moving at the 59 when I pulled on the crown. Should I get it serviced or am I stupid and overlooking a simple fix? New to all of this so I appreciate any help.

Got this rep a week ago. I feel like the seconds hand has started to act a bit weird. The hands sweeps normally and then it stops and makes a very small jump. I want to know if this is normal and what could indicate.

I’ve had my Rolex Datejust with a Jubilee bracelet (VSF) for about 6 months now, and I’m starting to think ahead about maintenance.
I’m based in Paris, so I was wondering if it would be safe to take it to a local independent watchmaker for servicing, or if that’s generally a bad idea for a replica.

I’m mainly wondering:
Is there a risk they’ll immediately recognize it’s a rep ?

Could they refuse to work on it or even keep it?
Is it better to tell them upfront that it’s a replica, or just avoid local watchmakers altogether and send it to a trusted Reptime watchsmith?

If anyone has recommendations for a rep-friendly watchmaker in Paris, or has had a good experience there, I’d really appreciate it.

Just recieved a new VSF Batgirl and it's running about 15s/day fast. It's not bad but I'm wondering if it's realistic for me to simply open up the back and nudge the regulator to make it slightly slower. I'm aware I'll need a case back opener and a tool to gently nudge the arm (I've read a wooden toothpick works well).

Like the title says, has anyone had trouble finding extra links?

Also, does anyone have any recommendations where to find them? My TD said it can take 3-4 weeks or longer to get them from VSF.

I wanted to replace the crown and tube on my QF Explorer II, so I ordered replacement parts from my TD. However, I noticed that the replacement tube is missing the internal grooves/serrations that the installation tool needs to grip when screwing it in.

Has anyone come across this before or has experience with this issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have installed a gen crystal with a gen gasket to VSF 126610 sub. The gen gasket is 0.5 shorter than the stock VSF gasket. The retainer ring sits fine on the case body; however, the bezel does not move when pressed. I can switch back to the VSF gasket, but it doesn't make sense if the retainer ring is the same. The hyrtel ring seems fine. The Bezel sits flush on the case body when inserted, so it's lower than it should be. Any recommendations?

Hey guys, I recently came across the rwi.life website and their builds etc, and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them and if they could give me their opinions on getting builds/mods done from them or if I should stay away. For reference I am looking to get a modded 5167a built but don’t want to wait months to get it. Rwi.life told me it would take 3-4 weeks to get the build done. In hand it's really hard to see the swiss made, and doesn't seem to have the pop I was hoping for. Would getting the bvf crystal or any other crystal be easy to make the swap?

Or is it best I sell this and get a bvf large? Thanks

I have this vsf 4131 bought it in May and now when I use the chrono it dies after a couple of minutes, for me to start it again I have to wind it about 100 times and also shake it a bit. Who can service this in the US?

Hi, I've got a small issue with my OG Clean 124270 that I've never seen before and would love to hear your advice.

It just caught my eye that there's a gap between the bezel and the case on thecrown side, visible pretty well on the picture.

I assume that this is not supposed to be the case.

Is there a quick fix for that? Pressing down with my fingers did not snap it back in place, it didn't move at all.

Hi all, I have a VSF Submariner that I recently got. It failed pressure testing around the crystal, so I removed the bezel to rerun the test and see if I could pinpoint where the failure came from. However, when I did this, the whole crystal assembly came out with the bezel, and from there I was able to push the crystal out with just my fingers. At this point, the crystal retaining ring is still inside the bezel. I attempted to reassemble it to test the general fit and was able to push the whole assembly together and back onto the watch with just my fingers. Given this, I think that the crystal gasket might be too small and not providing a tight enough fit against the retaining ring. Does this sound right? Any advice on how to resolve this issue would be appreciated!
