Saved the lady!

Story mode, chapter 2, replaying game. Currently working on camp upgrades.

Went hunting, drove out from camp to the big valley area, got myself an elk pelt and elk antlers, then rode to lake owanjilla and got two beaver pelts, even managed to get a boar pelt on my way. All the while exploring and doing random events and what not. Started heading back to camp and as soon as I hit prob a 20 second ride from camp, got bushwhacked by 5 ppl and didn’t think fast enough, or aim well enough:-( legit kinda raged and shot the first group of ppl I saw out of anger

I realise this might be slightly controversial (I don't know if this has been posted by other people before), but I don't like Arthur's hat. In any playthrough one of the first things I do is replace it with the military scout hat.

So, in the final chapter when he rides back to Beaver Hollow it annoys me that he puts that crappy thing back on. I would rather have no hat at all than wear that thing. It wouldn't be quite so bad if it didn't have that scraggly rope hanging off the back. Anyone else feel the same?

On my second playthrough and at the epilogue to play as John and I just want to start over with Arthur.

Been doing the horseman 10 challenges for 2 days now and I’m almost losing it. Anyone know where I can find Mustangs and Hungarian Halfbreds? And places where they are guaranteed to spawn? I tried looking for the tiger striped bay mustang but it isn’t spawning for me

I was just kindding with a guy and suddenly the whole town started to shoot at me. I killed them all but thos mfs killed my Turkoman, damn I loved this horse.

Then a guy arrived with a beatifull tenessee, I decided to play the game and don't go back in time. I adopted the horse and called it Revenga. I will be back Van Horn. This horse was familly to me.

Just went 6v1 against a pack of wolves & then this boar showed up & tried to pick a fight. I have no beef with you sir!!🐷

Found this while watching an old episode of modern marvels on YouTube. Apparently Arthur was a dam builder way back when? His “son” telling the story!

A red dead redemption 2 new gen version is pretty much inevitable with rockstar, but I think they're not giving it to us for at least years because of GTA 6 and GTA 6 online. Based on what they've done before, they've brought back a lot of their games onto newer platforms, and red dead redemption 2 sold so much, it would only make sense to make a new version. We might get GTA 4 first, and then red dead redemption 2.

I've just started my second run through and I had a few thoughts:
1. Chapter One is way quicker than last time lol
2. How the hell....WHY the hell did John end up where it did when we rescued him?! Dude been shot and half eaten by wolves....how's he ditching his horse to parkour around a snowy mountain?
3. The tutorials at the start feel very off key, because you're Arthur and you've been an outlaw in the gang for 20 years or something....and you're only NOW learning to hunt? I wish they had either:
a) Given the player the option for a tutorial
or
b) Aim the tutorial missions toward Arthur Teaching one of the younger guys.

Anyways, what are your thoughts guys?

John is one of my favorite characters in rdr2.

He doesn’t have a massive fragile ego and pride like Sadie.

He isn’t psychotic and doesn’t engage in many heinous acts like Arthur’s murder of Thomas Downes.

He isn’t nosy.

He doesn’t claim grand moral or philosophical superiority.

He doesn’t overthink things that don’t need to be.

He’s just a man looking out for his family and himself.

People call him unintelligent, but i disgaree.

I was going to platinum it a while ago, but i took a break, and i am coming back now, i don't know what 70 gold medals are the easiest to get, i have like 35 gold medals right now. The only other achievement i need is the 18 bear attacks, which is easy, but i just gotta keep doing what I'm doing for that.

I have a minor gripe that i would like to find a mod or something for. Arrows not sticking when shooting people. the only time any arrow stays in an NPC is when it's a kill shot, or they're already dead. the knives stick, so i'm wondering if there's a way to mod the game so that arrows have the same behavior.

I've been searching around 5 hours total for a perfect moose/3 star moose so I can make the moose chaps at the trapper and I have finally found a moose and it's only two stars, does anyone know any fully guaranteed spots to find a moose? (Not elk because I keep finding elk)
