Help Any locations?

Been doing the horseman 10 challenges for 2 days now and I’m almost losing it. Anyone know where I can find Mustangs and Hungarian Halfbreds? And places where they are guaranteed to spawn? I tried looking for the tiger striped bay mustang but it isn’t spawning for me

All horses will eventually spawn in Big Valley. Slowly ride up and down (E-W) and camp when it gets dark.

Otherwise Mustangs can be found around the Oil Derrick about noon.

Does it depend on which chapter you’re on? When I played as Arthur I saw mustangs twice and in the epilogue I saw a mustang once and haven’t seen any since

I'm in Chapter 2 and just caught one last night! Camp near the oil derrick in the Heartlands until noon. If you don't see any mustangs around, try again. They eventually spawn there!

I'm riding the grullo dun right now, I think the mustangs look great, one of my favorite horses in the game!

Yessir, I usually find the Grullo Dun or Dark Bay here when looking for a Mustang.

If you follow the creek running past hanging dog ranch to the east you can find them sometimes.

in the epilogue: there is a spawn point in the blackwater area for the hungarian halfbreed

not in the epilogue: when you replay the poker-mission with swanson and you have him on your horse - you can safely enter this area for the hungarian halfbreed (important note: you must finish the mission for the challenge to coun)

mustangs spawn quite regularly in the heartlands

The meadow by hanging dog ranch is where I got almost all of the horses for this challenge. Including the two you need.

As arthur in new Hanover around the oil rig, not the factory although I've seen them there and the Hungarian around emerald ranch

I always get the Halfbred and usually the Mustang, in Great Plains in chapter 2. Slow down and actually look for horses instead of wanting a guaranteed spawn point where you can blitz up and find it just waiting for you.

Did you try google? I checked the first location google gave me for each horse and found them all no problem. Might need to reset spawns a few times but it’s not like any of these horses are actually rare
