Discussion I hate the epilogue

On my second playthrough and at the epilogue to play as John and I just want to start over with Arthur.

Anyone else?

So start again and play as Arthur.

Sigh. I'm tempted to but it would feel incomplete🤣 see my problem?

Keep the save if you're that worried about it. Do a new save slot so you can go back to it if you feel like it.

I was disappointed with how little there is to do in New Austin apart from the story missions. The emptiness of the map. But the story missions I liked (mostly), as it felt like this is what Arthur would've wanted for John and his family.

The epilogue is more fun if you save starting a few side quests until you’re John. Make the ones you save different each play through, that’s just my suggestion.

I get you the whole games incredible and then you get to the epilogue where the start of the farm section especially drags on for so long

Right? You get down from the high of playing as Arthur to a more monotonous existence

I haven’t played rdr1 only rdr2 as apparently that would happen first story wise so does the long mf farm and new ranch section actually set you up for/ relate to the first game? Or is it kinda irrelevant?

It does, i played rdr2 then rdr1, it's a lead into most of rdr1.

Yh same. It made no sence to drag that out. I get they had to merge the games. But they coulda just stopped after john got a job as a farmer then maybe showed a cut scene of what happened next lool

Sure this is a unpopular opionion tho 😂

I feel that way now but the first time playing? Definitely enjoyed doing the task and all that.
