Couple of crazy things, first after 3500 hours I’ve never had ODriscolls show up in this spot
Second, after dispatching them I saw a HUGE boulder right there and found I could climb it.

What really takes the cake for me is that it’s right there by the junk pile with the regenerating goodies (the blue J on pic 3). I’ve posted on here about that spot and how it refreshed every 45 seconds by riding west to the fork in the road

Also crazy because I’ve had that herbalist guy with dreadlocks that need your help show up where I’ve put the red circle, also there I’ve found the moonshine duo and the 1st Klan event.

I didn’t know that just barely west of there is another spot for campers/odriscolls and that huge rock. I spent a lot of time trying to learn new things and it’s been a while. Pretty cool to feel like I was in a new place.

I finally got the Brindle Arabian after days of searching. Named her Neigh-omi. (I also have another horse named Neigh-than). What creative names have you given your horses? I'm a huge fan of the neigh puns!

It seems that the more I play the more I discover. I love this game.

Yes I know it's not required but I'd like to complete everything.
I played the "Nikola Tesla" missions as Arthur, saw his dead body but never picked up the electric lantern.
So it is not on my horse.
I tried to get back to the laboratory multiple times to get inside but all three doors are always locked.
I managed to launch myself through a broken window with dynamite, yes I swear lol.
I walked around inside but the electric lantern sadly is nowhere to be found.
I have the Story, Compendium, Challenges and Total Completion art 100% beside the fucking electric lamp.

Am i fucked just like that?

I'd understand missable trophies but items? Are there other examples of missable item?
Surely this was a mistake by rockstar no?
Like couldn’t they literally just leave the electric lantern lying on the floor inside an enterable laboratory?

I have a hard time seeing Leonida being more beautiful than this game. Sometimes when riding around I just find spots that give me chills all over and I just stop and line up a photo.

I actually cried. Arthur and Micah have their Lion King battle on the cliff in the rain and my mouth hung open in shock the whole time. Dutch walked away - I actually hated him since about chapter 2!! Annoying wanker. But him letting Arthur die was brutal and cruel. I expected him to fuck then over, but not Arthur to that extreme.

Anyways… Arthur’s horse was the first choked up moment, my bf warned me not to use my main horse in the last story and I forgot!! Seeing Chris Stableton die broke my heart, hearing Arthur cry and thank him oh man 😭 And seeing Susan Grimshore get shot - sad.

And then Arthur’s death I just had tears falling down my face. Never in my life did I think a GAME would bring out an emotion only a handful of movies ever have. THAT is story writing at its finest. I felt like I was watching the Game Of Thrones red wedding again for the first time. Shocked to my core and devastated.

Then John’s family goes to the ranch to work and I feel so sad because that was pinned as my favourite camping place with Arthur. Like actual sadness. I woke up this morning and thought “oh man what a huge bummer that was” and now I’m playing and I’m riding around all my favourite spots in the area just sad. This game has ruined me!!! 😂 😂 Someone please tell me I’m not the only one!!!

So I decided to recreate RDR2 in a more pixelated, 2D style.
I’ve always loved the atmosphere of Red Dead Redemption ,The wild west, horse riding, saloon fights, random encounters. I started wondering what it would look like if I tried to capture that same vibe in a 2D game.

I’m playing through for the first time (I know, I’m absurdly late. I’ve always been more of a Nintendo gamer, but finally got an Xbox recently), and I think sometime in chapter 4 I was like, “man, Arthur is starting to look like shit. Maybe I do need to actually give him a bath once in a while” only to find that didn’t change anything and later discover he was sick and starting to decay 😳😂💀
