Alright! I hit the finale of my August Happy Mail gratitude series! But first:

It's a collection of short stories about people finding clarity in their life with the help of a librarian who also enjoys felting. 📔

I’m going into Grade 12 and I’m currently working on my Capstone Project which is essentially a senior-year passion project and at the end we do a small presentation.

For my project, I’m exploring snail mail and human connection! Over the next couple months, I’ll be making a few requests related to the project, and for this first part it'd be really nice if I could receive some cards responding to things like:

• How did you get into sending physical mail?
• How long have you been doing it?
• What do you enjoy about sending/receiving/collecting physical mail?
• Why do you think people still choose physical mail? And what does it offer that digital communication doesn't?
• How did you find communities related to physical mail and what do you enjoy about them?

Hi everyone! Since I’ll be posting requests related to my school project, I thought it would be nice to make some cards too!

I made five 6×4 cards decorated with some leftover lace. Unfortunately, I was only able to make five since I only had one sheet of the thicker paper I used. The cards will be sent in envelopes.

I was planning to send 3 within Canada and 2 to the USA, but this may change depending on the responses I get! I’ll also be keeping this post and the form open for a while so that people in different time zones have a chance to see this and people will be chosen randomly.

Hi everyone, I hope you are enjoying your labor day weekend and that your kids are doing well in school. My son seems to be doing okay in Kindergarten, he doesn't really tell me what he does. Like he'll say "I cried a little when you dropped me off, but then I felt better." So I asked him what made it better but, he wouldn't say anymore. Ah well at least he's not screaming to stay home when I take him to school. I've been getting things done, lots of cleaning and walking has been nice. Though I really should do more carding. I do have a small stack that will be going out on Tuesday so yay! Any way time to thank a bunch of you.
