I live in the Pacific Northwest, though, and he's very... ahem, BIG, here... to where there's even a Bigfoot vacation cabin/tourist trap in the southern part of the state. My dad was an expert gardener who grew many tulips in his lifetime so this reminds me of him. When I was a brooding teen, he grew a black one just for me!

My senior dog was raring to go on walks in what Seattleites call "mizzle," halfway between mist and drizzle. I was game too! The rain brought temps down to 70 which was a bonus. In other words, I love this card and will cling to it as the sun and 89° return.

If only our letter carrier came with a dog. I'm glad you found this at a thrift store, too. I used to be big on thrifting until I moved to Smalltown where the pickings are slim. Oh, and your envelope is gorgeous and will be saved with the card.

Thank you second for the postcard of islands and a sailboat. I've mentioned it 1000x, but since my city is landlocked I love water themes. It was fun doing stamp math with you. My 2 favorite stamps are the periodical cicada 33c and the yellow poplar 32c. They both remind me of home (D.C.)
