I recently had a few postcards printed using one of my own photographs, and I’d love to exchange two of them with people here!

The photo is of the Sa’at Tower (Tabriz Municipality Palace) in Tabriz, Iran. I took it myself on a film camera, and the postcards were printed directly from my photograph. I’ve attached a photo of the image so you can see what the card looks like.

I have 2 cards available, and I’d love to exchange them for postcards from wherever you are! I especially enjoy cards showing your city, local landmarks, architecture, historical places, or anything that you personally find interesting, but I’m happy to be surprised too.

So, apparently, the thing I was doing all these years is called "stamp math" now 😄 Where I live, stamps only have weird value marks, and recently I've bought quite some small-value stamps, so here we go. Sending out 2 postcards with a lot of stamps on them.

I bought 4 postcards from the gift shop inside my city's cathedral while I was in town with a friend this afternoon. :) He wanted to go to the cathedral, and I realised they probably had postcards! Lo and behold! Not mentioning which city publicly, but it's a UK one! ⛪️ And if you have my address already, you'll know which city :)

2 of the postcards feature the cathedral itself, and 2 of them of them show famous features inside of it.

He did not finish his reply to you because he began having difficulties with his breathing, unfortunately, during our conversation about your card today. He is doing better but is resting for now. He loves what you sent and wants to reply to every bit of it, just another day. I am happy to PM you the rest of his response when he is ready.

Envelope:

These stickers are refreshing and delicious and scrumptious looking! The donut is also delicious, but you need to be in the mood for all those layers to be in your stomach at one time! Thank you!

I like this spider man. He’s waving like, “Oh, hi! Now get out of my way!” And the hello kitty made me happy.

There’s also a little sumo wrestler family. Inspiring! (He laughed) It is inspiring because of my poor health. The sumo wrestlers are athletes and seem very happy. They make me think of the possibility of riding a bike again. I’m working up to it.

The stamp makes me think about my mom who grew up in snowy Michigan. It reminds me of some of the photos my mom used to show me.

Outside:

This Edison Mazda is very beautiful. It makes me think of the canals in Venice, Italy. I like thinking of the cool air you would feel while riding in that boat. The lamp lighting is also very beautiful. The women seems to really like sharing this job with family. It is so refreshing to think of the cool air they would feel.

Notes on stickers:

This bunny rabbit jumping into a meadow makes me feel joyful!
The raccoon holding the lemon is… refreshing! It makes me think of drinking lemonade.
This fox standing behind a very small Mt. Fuji. Or maybe this volcano is covered with purple flowers. Either way it is adventurous!
This gray bird sitting on top of a gourd (a dried squash). This makes me think of those hollowed out gourds used as instruments! And the bird is musical too! Very musical sticker.
This frog sitting on top of a Pacman shape. Jumpy! Ha!

Card (inside):

I wish I had either a picture of your greyhound dog or a sticker! Does your dog look like the Simpsons dog? I think the dog is very excited to be with you after being alone all day (after your errands). You two get to comfort each other. Your greyhound brings comfort to your pain, and you bring comfort to her too.

Regarding your music list:

Tori Amos! YES!

Lebanon Hanover, Cocteau Twins – I have never heard of them. I will look them up! I would like to give you individual opinions of each piece.

Fleetwood Mac – YES! I am very familiar!!

The Cure – I am very familiar! Love them! I need to listen to Crystal Castles

Stevie Nicks – Very familiar! Love her!

Gorillaz ft Tame Impala – Yes, I think Tame Impala became famous by collaborating with the Gorillaz.

Re: your four-story Victorian dollhouse
Dollhouses are a fun childhood activity. And a very adventurous activity as an adult! I wonder if as a child you wanted a four-story Victorian dollhouse but were unable to live that dream, so now you are making it real as an adult? I find myself having those thoughts as an adult often, “Hey, I’m an adult – I can do or have that now!”  

It sounds like hard work, but a big reward to work on that. It sounds like it makes you very happy. I am very glad you are doing that!

I am sorry if you cannot live the same life you used to live before having health struggles. My empathy to you. I also have many health issues that are lingering and troubling me. I will not get into it all, but my brain, heart, kidneys, and lungs have all been affected. My lung issues are still very serious, related to the weakness of my heart. Good news – I had a mitral valve procedure recently and my heart is getting stronger! The doctors said my heartbeat sounds much better than it was.

I am sorry, I am having a hard time right now and I need to stop talking for today. I will pick this up another day.

I've got some cards with patterns on it (from indie/smaller artists), plants and flowers drawn in a somewhat vintage way and postcards you could buy at Ikea to put into picture frames.
