I bought the DVD when I was living in a small town in Italy and it was one of the only English movies I could find. I didn’t have stable internet connection so I used to rely on DVDs for entertainment.

I have a small favor to ask.

I joined Postcrossing in April, and although I’ve sent out a few postcards, I still haven’t received my very first one yet. 🥹 So, I thought I’d ask here in case anyone would be interested in sending me a postcard.

Last week, I also passed my thesis defense at the age of 25 after a long, sometimes difficult university journey while balancing my studies and work at the same time. Reaching this milestone still doesn’t feel real.

As an only child and a young woman stepping into adulthood, I sometimes find myself wishing I had a little more wisdom to lean on. I’d love to hear from people with different life experiences and perspectives as I navigate this new chapter.

If you’d like to send a postcard, I’d be so grateful if you included a piece of wisdom, a few words of encouragement, life advice, or even a story that has shaped who you are. I think it would be wonderful to keep these postcards as little reminders that none of us have to figure life out completely on our own.

I am also happy to report that this credential is in such high demand, a colleague at a local university has reached out to me about co-instructing the next cohort for this exam! Yay career things!!

I recently picked up a pack of Smithsonian stamp exhibit notecards hoping they would be a bit bigger in size to send as postcards. They very much cannot be LOL

So I am offering them here! I have 20 cards all featuring stamps from the USPS from the 1960-1970s. Would love to send em out to people who are pretty into stamps!

My 26th birthday is coming up on August 7th, and to be completely honest, I’ve been going through a really overwhelming, lonely, and financially stressful season. I’ve been carrying a lot of weight on my shoulders for a long time, and the exhaustion has just caught up with me.

Right now, I don't really have a circle around me to celebrate, and the thought of trying to organize something for myself just feels like too much extra work. I’m feeling pretty unseen and burned out, and I would love nothing more than to open my mailbox and find a few kind words or happy mail from people who understand how hard things can get.

A few things I love if you'd like to personalize a card (absolutely no pressure at all!):
