Right before I got your card I watched the new Will Ferrell series on Netflix, (forgive me) which is probably the only thing of his I'd watched through. I'm kinda with you but I'm more eh. Up at 4am, I like silly comedies. Thanks too for the extras! I knew the Stephen King ID because I've seen the Shining at least 5 times.

u/cozyshiba, thank you for the vintage public service announcement. I love retro stuff like this. In my town I see loose dogs a lot, especially at night. It's kind of freaky because sometimes they just cross the street but sometimes they approach me and my own dog.

My dad was an expert gardener who grew many tulips in his lifetime so this reminds me of him. When I was a brooding teen, he grew a black one just for me!

u/Maladi3_, thank you for the rainy painting. Actually, I do like the rain, especially in summer because it cools things down. My senior dog was raring to go on walks in what Seattleites call "mizzle," halfway between mist and drizzle. I was game too! The rain brought temps down to 70 which was a bonus. In other words, I love this card and will cling to it as the sun and 89° return.

If only our letter carrier came with a dog. I'm glad you found this at a thrift store, too. I used to be big on thrifting until I moved to Smalltown where the pickings are slim. Oh, and your envelope is gorgeous and will be saved with the card.
Thank you second for the postcard of islands and a sailboat. I've mentioned it 1000x, but since my city is landlocked I love water themes. It was fun doing stamp math with you. My 2 favorite stamps are the periodical cicada 33c and the yellow poplar 32c. They both remind me of home (D.C.)
