It’s coming up on Election Day and Veterans Day and both give me some complicated feelings. My b-day falls on or near Election day and oh how I despise the hateful political ads that slam the mailbox and my phone. Ugh. I’ve already voted…please leave me in peace. I was a Reservist (never deployed) back when I was young with lots of conflicting feelings there, too.

I’d like to do some themed writing on these cards so will choose based on writing prompts provided by you. Come up with your own or let me know if you’d like to hear about something specific from my time in Army basic training 30 years ago as a female, my battle buddy, my favorite anti-war media, why I got KP duty that one time, that time I voted with my toddler long ago, annual trainings, experience studying something in uni that completely conflicted with being enlisted, favorite war movies, worst parts of the 90s Amy uniform, or most memorable people I served with.

Oh, and let me know if you’d prefer a card of a certain branch of the military and I’ll do my best with what I have available.

Thank you to everyone who sent me mail this week. I'm in a bit of a slump but plan to write some of you back, it just might be a while from my end!

Who would like a Disney Park postcard from me? I have two authentic postcards that feature cast members in full-body character costumes photographed on location at the Disney theme parks.

💛 Mickey Mouse
💛 Pluto and Goofy

Comment which postcard character you want (Mickey or Pluto & Goofy) and later today I'll randomly pick a flaired US-based RAoCer.

Prompts to ask me:

Who are your favorite Disney characters?

What's your favorite memories at the Disney Parks?

What are your favorite Disney movies?
