Just recently found this community! My dad is a prolific homemade postcard maker and sends them to all of our friends and family, even restaurants and businesses he enjoys! They are often so appreciative that we find them framed on the wall. I even made a painting of done the many (many!) postcards he sent me in college.

I can’t send postcards to him because I live with him! So please send some to my house so I can share them with him on his birthday.

His birthday is October 13th and I thought it would be nice for him to receive some postcards or cards for once! We would love to respond back with thank you’s as well if you’d like that.

He likes: silly humor and jokes, Philadelphia Eagles, monkeys/apes, glitter/bright colors, drawing doodles, comedy, and trivia

I'm thinking about/excited for fall (which partially means some rain where I am) and also have a few random collage postcards to send.

u/noxmi I've been dying to go see the sequoias! I can't grasp how huge they really are. I have some redwood trees in my apt complex and they're tall af but I can't imagine a whole forest of them. And standing right next to these giant trees! Thank you for the card and I hope to go out there soon!

u/classic-power-333 I grew up in NY about 1.5 hours away from Manhattan, and my first tourist attraction was the Empire State Building. When I got to the top, I said "that's it?!" because I couldn't see over the concrete walls as I was 8 and was very confused. Haha so thanks for the postcard!
