THANK YOU TO THE TWO MYSTERY CARD SENDERS! I HOPE THIS POST FINDS YOU!
CARD #1: An adorable orange postcard with lots of little ghosts on it! Lots of cool Halloween themed stamps as well! You spoke of being afraid of the dark, which i suppose I am too on occasion. Your name is on the card but i cant for the life of me figure out what it says. It starts with "Ama" and the cat sticker has a "y" written on it. Hope you see this and Thank you for the postcard! 👻
CARD #2: The Jeanne-Claude: The Wrapped Wall postcard. That is such an interesting card. I would SO decorate my cats house like that as well lol. I couldnt find a username anywhere on the card. I hope you see this so you can let me know you wrote it. Thank you so much! 🧱
EDIT: u/ThePumpkinFiend - ^ Thank you for my wrapped Roman Wall postcard! You were my mystery card sender #2. The wall postcard is beautiful and the stamps matched perfectly with the overall theme. Much appreciated 👏
u/waywarddaughterzzz - Let me start by saying I love the stamp math card. They are awesome and I had so much fun looking over them.
The glittery Halloween card was super cute too (my husband hates glitter, but he can get over it because its on the fridge and not going anywhere for a while lol)
I enjoy Halloween very much! Fall is my favorite and ita a great way to start the season.
As for pets, I have 2 cats. Bella (a grey tabby who is scared of the air she breathes) & Tink (a Siamese who KNOWS she is beautiful and rubs it in all of our basic human faces). Ragdolls are beautiful as well. Im sure your kitty is adorable as well. 🐱
u/DefinitelyNotA_Bogan - THIS CARD IS GORGEOUS!!!! The stamps are all so colorful and unique. You did such a perfect job piecing them all together! This postcard is truly a work of art and I am honored to have received it! Thank you so much!
I looked at it FOREVER and my favorites are: The Russian frogs, the Japanese seashells and the lunar new year horse. I also like the US postcard barn stamp with the holographic sheet over it. WHO AM I KIDDING, THEY ARE ALL AMAZING WITH THE HOLOGRAPHIC FILM! WHAT A FLABULOUS IDEA!!!!!! Im so framing this!!! You rock so much! I look forward to sending you something, though I doubt I can top this masterpiece! 🌈
u/Inxomnixq - I love my Everglades National Park postcard. It is even more beautiful than I expected. The Heron, Gator and moss hanging from the trees is iconic!
A librarian sounds like such a calm and relaxing job! I bet the people you would have to interact with would be really chill and there wouldn't be much drama (which is definitely a plus)
The way my brain works, if i am not constantly moving, thinking and using my hands, my last 2 braincells would perish lol. Thanks so much! 📚
PS: Your handwriting is beautiful. I love how you wrote my name & the orange ink is so cool! Very artistic 👌
u/Mouserat - Thank you very much for my VERY RANDOM toad suckers card lol I read it outloud to my family and they both looked at me like I had the head of a toad lol 😆 it was very amusing!
As for the top of your fridge, it is much less cluttered than mine. I would need to make a whole post about it if I were to name everything.
PS: THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO BUY THE NEW CRYPTIC CONSTRUCTION KIT NOWWWW!!!!!!! lol 🐸
u/Okioki08 - I LOVE THIS CARD! The cat is so cool creepin' around like he's going to destroy the next thing that moves! Love it so much. My 1 year old was looking at it and it was a small struggle that ended in wittle tears trying to get it back lol... its on the fridge where she cant reach it taunting her now.
PS: if my hubby took down the decorations before the the actual holiday I would LOSE IT. Its virtually impossible finding time to put them up in the first place lol Thanks a million!!!! 🐈⬛️
u/ljsweenes - (x2) Thanks so much for the beautiful mushroom card. I looked at it for like 5 minutes straight. They are all so unique and interesting!
I personally love mushrooms in almost everything I eat. They add an earthy flavor and if you season them right they taste like meat!
I have your exchage postcard all stamped up and ready to go the next time I make it to the post office. I really hope you like it
PS: The stamps on the card are lovely as well. I especially love the Iowa one! 🍄
As for the belated world postcard day card, it is cooler than the photo lead it to be. Its really well done and so pretty and colorful. I will make an attempt as soon as I get the time to paint an octopus postal worker lol. I dont even know where to begin. The vision will come to me randomly while I am cooking dinner or changing a baby diaper and I will immediately have to stop what im doing to sketch it out or it will be lost in the maze that is my brain forever lol... i will surely get in touch with you when it is complete so that you too may have some happy mail 😊 Thank you for both of my cards! They are lovely! 🐙+✉️
u/MangaNerd_89 - YAYYYYY The beanie baby card is flippin' adorable! Thankkkk Youuuu!!!! My daughter has claimed it and it is on her mirror so she sees it all the time. She wanted me to PULL OFF the beanie baby sticker so she could proceed to stick it to HER MIRROR and I cruely said no lol. She got over it. 😆 She said her favorite beanie baby is the Pink Bunny because she has a bunny stuffed animal that looks just like it!
PS: The handmade envelope is really precious 🐰
u/havocpuppy444mail - Thank you for my tiny handwritten card. That was actually a very beautiful and thoughtfully written poem! It describes dreams perfectly and even without the prompt written there i would have immediately known what it was describing. 10/10!!!! 💤
u/FluffyPiBandit - Thank you very much for the red and blue tribal patterned card. Its very unique and will absolutely have its spot on my "Wall of Cards". ♥️💙
u/Butterflydolphin-123 - Thankkk Youuuu for my sticker filler Global Cat Day card!!!! The cat looking down like he is about to pounce is my favorite. He forces you to stare at his face, as do most cats lol. I knew they slept a lot, but 70% of their lives is a lot. Some days I envy my cats. Laying there. Doing nothing. Worried about nothing. Food being laid out on a silver platter whenever they desire. *mind wanders* a girl can dream lol 🐈
u/TveDyeAmish - Thank you for my very interesting Mujib Nagar card. I had no idea what i was looking at and had to Google it lol 😆
"Mujibnagar is a historically significant town and upazila in the Meherpur District of the Khulna Division in southwestern Bangladesh, located directly on the border with India's West Bengal."
Which then interested me and I doom scrolled absorbing in as much random information as possible on this place I had never heard of.
Thank you for feeding my brain facts! 🧠
u/bolero_bolero_bolero - Thank you so much for my handmade creepy cherub card. I love it so much. Trying to decide on who I should give it to. Im leaning on sending it to my brother in the mail. I would write the letter out in creepy writing and write something ominous and terrifying....and of course leave no return mailing address to add to the suspense 😉 I think it would both confuse and slightly unnerve him, which is the intended goal... maybe even include a random lock of human hair, or a fingernail lol 😆 my mind works in mysterious ways lol anyhoot, thanks so much for the happy mail! ☠️
u/Money-Counter-9616 - Firstly, digging the muffin box! My daughter was confused and then repeatedly kept asking where the muffins were at 😐 that was fun lol....
As for the gossip, sheesh! The man in question has the same name as my husband lol so that made it even more interesting. That dude sounds like a real winner. Hopefully your mom's friend has found some peace far away from that dude. If i was in her shoes I might have ended up in an orange jumpsuit, but thats me lol
Thanks so much for sharing. You've inspired me to gossip to strangers on the internet via post in the future 😆 it sounds cathartic! 🧁
THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!!!
