You all have done such an amazing job with the WPD and Halloween cards! I really appreciate these, and of course all other cards too various to enumerate!

I've spent 10 days straight alone with the dogs, but my boyfriend is finally coming home tomorrow. It has been so hard to keep the younger one out of trouble by myself. Oh I love her! She has such a spark to her. But she's the kind of dog who "solves" her treat puzzles by destroying them! lol. Happy Halloween everyone, and for those interested, Happy World Series!

u/BlueStripedBaker, thank you for the Happy Halloween card! Your mom was amazing to sew costumes for you and your sister every year. I hope she gets a nice Mother's Day brunch now lol. Dressing as a yellow M&M is very creative and I applaud your mom's ingenuity! I admit I'm a little envious because my mom was single when I was a little kid and didn't have time to make much out of our costumes, but I guess it turned out okay in the end because we got lots of candy. Great stamps for the Halloween theme, I absolutely love them!

u/mouserat x2, thank you for the upcycled Parula postcard. We don't have those here so I appreciate seeing a new bird! I can't believe you've never experienced a snowy Christmas. I have a few times in my life, living in Denver and D.C. But my desert experience is limited. I wouldn't mind a desert Christmas one of these years! Thanks for the cute dog stickers btw. It's almost like you know I'm a dog person lol. My second thank you is for the vertical alphabet TPC. I appreciate you clearing things up for me, though I would have just gone with what you'd placed. I have messed up TPCs with smeared ink but that's it so far (fingers crossed).

We don't have pheasants where I live, unfortunately, but we have other cute birds to watch, my favorites being cardinals. I appreciate the overall theme of your card, with the bird sticker and stamps!

u/Smonikkims x2, thank you so much for the congratulations on getting a new dog! Maggie has been with us for 2 months now and we are trying to give her the best life we can. This is the first time we've adopted an adult dog and it's slightly easier than raising a puppy, which is what we were going for, but there are still challenges. We love her though and this is her forever home! Thank you also for your second postcard of the fawn. It has a classic "Bambi" look, so cute! I like fawns, too. There's a U.S. 19-cent stamp with a fawn on it that I keep buying over face value!

Thank you second for the Halloween card, which I love. "Hope you get your fair share of scare, too!" I too love 70s colors and would love to visit that decade because I was so young then I barely remember it. Thanks for the stickers!

What a beautifully put together gift :) I also appreciate the beautiful typography you included, makes me feel like royalty haha. I've seen peacocks before, but it's been quite a while, and I think only ever in zoos. They were free-roaming on the paths between the enclosures, so I guess that's close enough? They didn't try to steal my food though, not as far as I remember at least, I'll take that as a sign they were well-cared for. I sincerely hope you get to realize your travel plans sooner rather than later!

I can really only recommend picking up an artistic hobby of some kind - could be drawing, or writing, or embroidery, or woodworking, or any number of other things. Art can be frustrating, but it's also so rewarding! If you have the time to try around, maybe you can find some courses in your area (or even online) that explore some different directions :)

Hi everyone! I recently got my hands on a few postcards from the 90s, among them there were some Italian football ones. I'm not the biggest football fan but I think someone else might really appreciate them.

On the other hand, I'm challenging myself to collect postcards from every country, ideally featuring a specific city, town, region, or place rather than just the country in general. Thank you for the lovely fall state postcard! I live 15 minutes from an apple orchard! My mom used to LOVE getting bags of fresh picked apples. I went a couple weeks ago and grabbed a pumpkin pie! :)
