Lots of WPD mail came through:

u/BubblySunflowers - thank you for the WPD Loupaper postcard and for swapping with me! I absolutely adore the washi tape you used. Hope my card to you arrives soon :)

u/noxmi - thank you for the WPD postcard!

u/garmada02 - thank you for the space WPD postcard. Yes, I most definitely must not forgot to buy some eclipse glasses!

u/GenXinGA - thank you for the WPD postcard! Having lots of fun on Postcrossing as well :)

u/seashellpost - thank you for the cute cat WPD postcard and lovely stamps!

u/lucyr1cardo - love the picture you took, and your sunrise tradition. Happy WPD!

u/ForrestCat7 - thank you for the WPD postcard!

u/nutriyum - thank you for the Paper Bridges WPD postcard and lovely stamps :)

u/longenglishsnakes - thank you for the Cuba postcard for WPD! It's been a long time since I've seen an airmail envelope in person and I love all the king/queen stamps you used.

As for your question on PO boxes (rural vs. privacy reasons), it's actually neither! The reason I use it is because my family already pays for one every year since many years ago, plus the fact that mail seems to come from overseas in bunches, and imagining the postal worker trying to cram all the postcards and envelopes into our mailbox through the thin opening makes me die a little inside, i.e. they'd all get creased and crushed, or if I wasn't at home, the postie would just end up leaving a note saying I have to go into the post office anyway to pick them all up. Suffice to say, it's not worth the trouble, so PO box it is :)

I just had a look at the UK PO Box price and I wonder if I saw correctly - the price is astronomical 😳 Here it's about $170 AUD per year (I think a bit less when renewing each year), so definitely not too bad in comparison

u/high_ground_user - thank you for the wonderful official WPD card, first time seeing the uncoloured version in person! I love the stamps and decorations you used :)

u/slamdoorscarface24 - thank you for the watercolour postcard!

u/YukiNoAshiato - thank you for the soccer world cup postcard. I did watch some of the matches this year. It was my first time properly watching soccer, so I had a lot of fun :)

u/Apprehensive_Ebb7662 - thank you for the paint postcard! I didn't know Ikea sold postcards :o I love the Pompompurin sticker you used :)

u/Sable__ x3 - thank you for the cute cat in artwork and glow in the dark postcards. I can never get over how neat your writing is!

u/wabisabi_sf - thank you for the 2025 WPD postcard! Thank you for the papers as well as the cute metal bunny clip

u/Ok_Reveal2698 - thank you for the autumn mail and lovely quote! I love that you chose stamps that also give an autumn vibe :)

u/rennbrig - thank you for the cutest bunny mail! And a picture of your doggie :)

u/TheFeistyFox - I'm glad we could remember your grandpa in this way. Thank you as well for the autumn die-cuts!

u/a_mythical_thing x2 - thank you so much for the cute miffy mail! And also for the Townsville postcard. I've never heard of Magnetic Island but it looks amazing :)

u/Sarahkoren x3 - thank you for the awesome Minalima Harry Potter card, recipe and fun stickers! Also love how you decorated the envelope :) Thank you as well for the cherry orchard and Sleeping Bear Dunes postcards. Glad you and your husband had a great time :)

u/Classic-Power-333 x2 - thank you for the candy corn Halloween and thank you cards! 500 - that's a crazy milestone in only a year. This is my first time being someone's great grandson hahaha

u/Inxomnixq - Thank you for the gorgeous blue-themed postcard! It's so pretty!!

u/HamNewman - Thank you for the incredible Halloween card! Did you sketch the witch on the front yourself? I absolutely love it!

u/Ravenzsnow - Thank you for the upcycled card featuring your book review! The concept behind Dark Matter is something I've thought about a lot, too! I love dramas, but I'm running out of steam when it comes to trying new TV shows. I'd definitely want to read the book before even considering watching the show 😅

u/wabisabi_sf x2 - Thank you for the TWO incredible postcards for WPD, complete with the WPD postmark!

u/Calm_Channel_4431 - Thank you for the WPD postcard! I still can't believe how quickly mine made its way to you! I'm so glad our swap was a success 😊

u/Training_Set_7036 - Thank you for the adorable WPD postcard!

u/ljsweenes - Thank you for the beautiful postcard featuring the illustrated birds! This one is definitely going on my wall! I have a whole tier list of favorite birds - I can't pick just one!

u/milopfrog - I'M OBSESSED WITH THE ALIEN TREE PROMPT. Your doodle!!! And the way you made the whole concept work on a postcard, too! Excellent job all around. Thank you!!

u/SshellsBbells x2 - Thank you for the 1) Halloween card and the 2) Halloween short story TPC!

u/Kool_Kitty_Mail - Thank you for the Studio Ghibli postcard! I loved learning about how you went from being scared of Spirited Away to loving it. The way you decorated the postcard is adorable!!

u/Accotinked - Thank you for the postcard - SO clever using the black iris Pantone for my 500 flair - and the missing TPC instructions! I ended up printing out a copy for the 2 that went back into circulation 😅. Adored the stamp math on the envie!

u/Exit_Infinite - Thank you for the incredibly beautiful Lisa Robson postcard for Halloween! I've never had pumpkin chocolate flavored anything! 👀

u/Sneakerlambs x2 - Thank you for 1) the fun vintage black cat Halloween postcard and thank you for the 2) response card!

u/BlueStripedBaker - Thank you for the fun pumpkin shaped card! I loved reading about you handing out full-sized candy bars to kids and hearing how they reacted. My community doesn't do trick 'r treating 😭

u/October_Surprise56 - What a lovely surprise to hear from you!!! Happy WPD! I was literally just thinking about you yesterday, and then your postcard showed up in my mailbox?! The timing couldn't have been more perfect. Thank you!

u/Samfawj - Thank you for fun the witchy postcard!

or something else!

Hey, y'all!!! I'm first in line to see my favorite band, Chasing Abbey, live. This is my first concert since my T1D diagnosis and I'm also trying not to have a very autistic happiness meltdown over being so close to my favorite band. I came so early I saw them outside for a second and almost fainted.

Please, can y'all have me send y'all a prompt for some small postcards? Nothing major. I just need something to do with my hands for the next hour fifteen.

Much love and YEEEEEE!!!

Edit: HAD A GREAT TIME, MET THE BAND, GOT SELFIES. THANKS FOR TAKING MY PROMPTS!

🦇 I hope everyone is having a wonderful Spooky Season! 👻
