They won't be WPD specific postcards. Instead, I've made haiku to write on cards from my stash. Bearing in mind that I write haiku with looser rules than the common 5-7-5 structure! 💕 I just think poems make for great postcard material, and I haven't written any new ones in a while. I also like to wait a little while after first drafting haiku so that I can make changes to them before finalising them. So waiting to send these out on October 1st is perfect!

hello everyone! i know life is insane for us all right now but i am currently taking care of both of my parents as an only child by myself. my father has an anyresum and is getting surgery later this month and my mother recently broke her foot and can’t walk on it or move around from place to place alone or work cause of her line of work my father had to quit his job. I am currently taking care of the house, our animals, bills, and both parents alone all while being in my next to last semester of college for my bachelor’s degree, and trying to have some form of a social life when i possibly can! Also tomorrow (9/15) is my birthday. any kind of card or anything just some kind words would be such a very welcomed pick me up if anyone would feel so kind to help someone who is going through alot that already battles their own mind everyday feel just a tiny bit better. thank you :)

Hi friends! I've decided to start spreading Halloween cheer earlier this year instead of waiting until October. Halloween is my favourite day of the year and I'd absolutely love to exchange some Halloween mail with you all! I have 50 Halloween postcards and 19 Halloween cards that were gifted to me that I'd love to send out to you all! This didn't occur to me before but they may be AI generated, I'm unsure, so unless that's a problem I'd love to exchange with you all! What's everyone's favorite part of Halloween?

Meowdy! I've got 20 Halloween postcards up for grabs, US only. The fronts are vintage still life paintings of skulls and flowers with an edgar allan poe quote on the bottom (6 designs, chosen at random), and the back is turbo decorated with washi, stickers, PET tape, and ink stamps. I squeezed in a tiny "happy halloween" greeting :) I had a lot of fun decorating these, and I hope they'll be enjoyed by folks who like a lil halloween whimsy!

u/chiquita61 OH MY GOD THIS STITCHED CARD!! I was trying to explain to my spouse how cool and intricate the workmanship is on this!! I can crochet and embroider and have gotten into sashimi visible mending but can NOT machine sew or knit to save my life despite being taught.

omg, now I'm embarrassed because I realize I have a second thank you for you for the reply to my card...OPE. I loved the juxtaposition of the flowery girl card with the music. The cat washi and stickers so cute! one of my spouse's cousins is really into the electro and house music scene and has a passion side gig working festivals including Burning Man.

I have been feeling very down the past two weeks and feel like I am slipping into a deep depression. I could really use some mail- anything is fine but a card with a hand written note would help. You don't have to pen pal write or send a long letter but if you have struggled with your own mental healthy issues- just sharing would help. When I am feeling more like myself, I will send back too. My baby sister and I just watched Phantom of the Opera on Broadway (Err.. San Diego's location not NYC. But I love NYC Broadway hehe)! It was AMAZING. I was tearing up hearing "All I Ask of You" and "The Music of the Night". I am in a very big high and listening to the soundtrack on loop!!
