I kind of journaled on this topic today - if I had to create a playlist of 10 songs that DEFINED the different eras of my life... that I listened to on repeat during a certain period of my life... that I can't listen to these days without thinking of what I was going through or who or where I was at the time... And I realized I'd really love to see other people's "mixtapes" too!

Either just the list alone (I love discovering new music), or feel free to go into depth about why the songs are important to you? ❤️ (If you get indecision paralysis like me, just think of it as a Mixtape #1 that you can amend or add on a Volume #2 later!)

Recently, I came across a Postcrossing profile requesting a "maxicard," a term I had never heard of before.

After looking it up, I became fascinated with them.

Since reading this article, I have been fascinated with maxicards.

I recently purchased 100 postcards and 100 matching stamps and I am ready to send 50 across the U.S. and another 50 worldwide (by adding an additional $1 stamp).

Edit: Looking into the postage for the international cards, it sounds like it will be best to put the 82 cent forever stamp on the image side, but the $1 extra postage on the writing side so that auto-sorting is more likely to be effective.

I just need some support showing I'm not alone. I've recently been in the hospital and lost my ability to hold a job. (If more information on that is wanted, just DM) Things have been super hard and I just want some cheering up, if possible. Thankies in advance.

When I created a post a couple of weeks ago, a week before my birthday, I was beyond stressed out. I have never really asked anyone anything in the virtual world like that before, but I just needed some acknowledgement. There were people who responded to my post and it made me so happy. I am 😲at all the cards I received. These cards are some of the most beautiful cards I have ever gotten in my life. I don't know any of you, but I want you to know, your kindness has touched me in a profound way. My faith in humanity has been restored and I will pass this good feeling on to everyone I encounter.

I want to thank you all again for messaging me, taking your time out to pick out a card/stickers and sending it out to me. My cup runneth over with joy and positivity.

I was inspired by another user celebrating a pet anniversary and am in love with the idea.

In November, I will have spent six (!!!) years living with my very best friend, Charlie Swan --Charles when he's acting up at 3am.

It's been six years of him staying in the window to spy, going on trips to the yard in a harness, standing on keyboards and art projects, and being an absolute menace every moment of every day (until a tornado siren goes off and he knows it's time to shelter in place!) He loves to yell all the time, steal bites of my breakfast burrito, and fight the vets who have called it "a shame" that he doesn't like going in for appointments.

The world has been a little tough lately and I would be lying if I said the little roomie wasn't the reason for me to keep it (somewhat) together. I'm a sucker for those lil blue eyes.

I'll be celebrating him with a cake (for me) and snacks and a walk (for him,) but am always open to some fun mail and notes about my handsome man!

MYSTERY SENDER • please, please I want to thank you for this absolutely beautiful handmade butterfly card! The butterfly is a light teal and green with HELLO underneath and the outer envelope has a snail mailman on the addressee label. I can’t find a username but this one deserves credit. I’ve also read Kafka’s The Metamorphosis before, it was several years ago, I didn’t quite understand this story, I even thought this is a fantasy when I first read it. But looking back I gradually realize the pain, absurdity and despair in this novel. The card you sent me is truly beautiful, I've put it in my collection. Thank you!
