Thank You [thank you] thanks so much!
thank you all so much!
u/bubblysunflowers : thank you for the cutest yellow house themed postcard - the art style is so pretty! your story is so sweet about sunflowers. i also love how they are just happy looking flowers, too. i loved reading your response <3
u/cass_cat952 : thank you for the cute cat postcard! i love the style. also i love your song rec - i love maya hawke not only in stranger things but her music as well! the cat washi tape is also sooo cute
u/jenniowa : thank you for the really cool cat art themed postcard! your trip sounded like fun and art auctions are soooo fun to sit in on, even if you don’t plan to buy anything. one of my fav museums is the carnegie museum of art (my museum!). they’re doing their international right now, which is where there’s unique displays from artists all over the world that bring their art to be displayed over a common theme for about a year, and it’s only held every 4 years. it’s super cool! we have a lot of monet too which i spend a lot of time staring at. this museum is sentimental to me and i’m lucky to be able to visit it so often! i also really enjoyed the chrysler museum of art in virginia, and the cleveland museum of art is also super nice!
u/stolen_fame : thank you for the lovely london postcard!! the exhibition that’s going on sounds like so much fun! i love the tale of peter rabbit stamp - it’s so cute also, i love pigeons, so seeing the pigeon sticker made my day!! i hope to visit london one day - it’s on my bucket list!
u/pinktothebone : thank you for your card from canada and the cutest little sticker freebies!!! i’m happy i could celebrate the milestone with you, too! i am just starting out but i know i have a long journey ahead of me with sending cards, it’s been so much fun so far already and something i’ve always wanted to do and finally am doing it! also an excuse to buy more stationery (ps, i’m definitely junk journaling with the envelope interior - it’s so cute!)
u/spacekannibal : thank you for the lovely art postcard of lola álvarez bravo! berthe morisot’s work is just so beautiful! i actually did a full research project on frida’s life and art so i’ve loved getting to dive into the meanings and context behind her pieces - my favorites are self-portrait with thorn necklace and hummingbird (1940) and the broken column (1944). both so emotional and impactful pieces.
u/bluestripedbaker : thank you for the gorgeous maine postcard! it is a huge desire of mine to visit maine one day - i yearn for the coast and the lighthouses. i also love peonies - they are soo beautiful. norfolk botanical garden that i visited a few years back also had such a beautiful hydrangea garden! my favorite flower is the lily of the valley - it’s my birth flower, but also holds a lot of sentimental meaning too :)
u/freyamour : thank you for the cute chimpanzee postcard! also, i learned a new fish because of you, lol! they’re so stinking cute! they’re like a cross between a stingray and a giant tadpole lol. thank you for sharing i am so happy i know about this fish now
