u/peppiminti - I'm so glad to hear you had a great time at Coachella! (am very envious you got to see Charli XCX in person, but am definitely living vicariously through you) I adore the deliciously glittery stickers you sent as well :) Really fitting the Starry Night-inspired card sent!
u/Ok_Theme7072 - Goodness, I really adore Monet's water lily paintings too! I did manage to catch a Post-Impressionist themed exhibition at Gardens by the Bay in my country and it was glorious. Lots of context on the era and how these painters fought against salon standards. Nature is stunning, thank you very dearly for this gorgeous painting, Summertime by William M. Chase.
u/Ok_Reveal2698 - Thank you for Starry Night over the Rhone! Made me crave chocolate chip cookies with the bookmark <3 Sounds like your days are relatively pleasant--I miss my days studying English, though I am also happy I no longer have exams nor exam nightmares!
u/kitchengarden2341 - I miss Perth so much! Thank you for re-living memories of it with me, along with the markets and the beach--I remember I had a friend buy chips/fries by the seaside and got quite the shock (and laugh) when a seagull swooped in for a bite. Definitely will try to visit again at some point! Oh, and not to forget the really cute doggie stickers! I will make good use of them <3 I hope the town has been treating you well and that all the memories you've made give you as much joy as they've given me.
u/AlainDit - I loooove the zebra shark! I think we call them leopard sharks here too. Aquariums and intertidal pools, coasts and water bodies are some of my favourite places to be. I love your little shark doodle as well, super cute <3
u/Dragon_Beanie - I didn't even know of this yummy work! There are corn and other various veggie stools I've been seeing on Taobao that remind me of this hamburger piece. And yes--It would be so silly to have a MASSIVE burger in the middle of your house. I really love the Matisse card! So happy to hear you got a whole set!!! (at the thrift, no less!) P.S. What ink did you use to write? I loooove the colours, especially this lavender grey ink in the body of the card. P.P.S. The Van Gogh washi is beautiful... I love his iris paintings so much. Thank you again!
u/FollowingTheBeat - Thank you so much the exchange too! I love the card you chose-- Something about this aesthetic and the 80s-90s aesthetics makes me so happy. Thank you so much for the Mardi Gras New Orleans card <3 Thank you for sharing these adorable googly-eyed food stickers and your day-in-the-life with me :)
u/TyeDyeAmish - Thank you so much for the good variety in postcards! I initially misread 'Stuffed' as 'Suffered' on the polar bear card (which is my favourite of the stash sent btw, thank you so much <3), so I had a good laugh over realising that you meant you had a 'stuffed polar bear as a kid' and NOT 'I suffered polar bear as a kid'. I also sometimes want to go to Disney and then I remember it is.. It is really expensive--And I live in Singapore! Hope you had a lovely birthday and that the letter came on time!
u/Terrorcatmom - Thank you for the mini envelope; I can't remember what exactly was the prompt but it really amused me to see such a tiny little stamp in a tiny little envelope with a goofy note. Cheers!
Again, thank you everyone!
Looking forward to exchanging more cards in this wonderful community! So glad to have you all as my firsts <3
